There are many summer and winter outdoor activities to enjoy in Girdwood. Moose and bear are common sights so please keep trash and food secure. Please drive slowly, (20mph or less).

The Hostel Private Room is located off the common area at Alyeska Hostel.
It has 1 queen bed with a single twin bunk over the top, and 2 twin bunks. This room can accommodate up to 5 guests. There is access to 2 shared bathrooms and a small shared common area with a full kitchen.(Please no cooking after 9pm). The common space and bathrooms are shared with the bunk room.
The space
The beds in this room are made from Alaska Spruce and topped with comfy mattresses. The electric fireplace provides extra warm and ambiance.
Guest access
Hostel private room guests have access to the common areas which include: Full kitchen (please no cooking between 9pm and 7am)

Other things to note
At times we may have up to 6 guests in the bunk room and there may be a wait for kitchen or bathroom use. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen or bathroom as a courtesy to others who share the space.

We clean our facility every day between 11am and 4pm.
A stand alone cabin with modern amenities provides a comfortable warm space to relax in Girdwood. Enjoy a private bathroom with hot shower, a natural gas hearth, and a full kitchen all ready for your visit. Best for couples, but sleeps up to 4, with 1 Queen bed and 2 single bunks. Note, the bunks are high and are recommended for children. $25 per guest after 2.
Pet Fee is $25 per night. Self check in is available.
The space
The 13x14 cabin is located on the grounds of Alyeska Hostel.
The cabin has shower toilet and full kitchen, 1 queen bed and 2 single bunks. The cabin is located at the end of the driveway and is not in a private location. There is frequent foot traffic nearby.
Guest access
As you approach the building at 227 Alta drive, the cabin will be to the left in front of the main building. The chalkboard outside will have the guest name written on it, and the door will be unlocked. The key will be inside.
