The staff and volunteers at Casa Santurce made me feel so welcomed and even though I arrived at 2am after the check in hours were closed. One of the staff members, Kelly, happen to come out and get me into my room! I was so thankful and grateful! I was ready to sleep on the floor lol. Sadie, Wasabi, Justice, Carmine and Sunny were such kind and real straight up people! Which is hard to find so thank the Lord for them !! They helped me figure out the bus, activities I could do and genuinely were just fun to hangout and converse with. I’m loving this hostel life and even when the AC broke for one night they were so apologetic and quick to get it fixed the same day! This house is also pretty central to anything near San Juan so it made getting around with a quick Uber or even to walk. - "Although the property claims to be called Aibonito Hotel, don’t be fooled: this is not a hotel. There’s no staff on site nor are bed sheets changed daily. This is a second floor where you’ll have a small room with a bathroom and nothing else. The place is a couple of miles out of town: your view will be the cemetery next door and a few businesses up front (a nutrition place and a laundromat as I write). There is a small chinchorro down the road that was the only place to have anything to drink/eat. Besides that, the bed was terrible and my wife and I had some serious lower back pains after the first night. The shower is a joke and you’ll soon struggle to contain the clogged shower head to try and avoid swamping the whole bath. Not fun. We booked for three nights, but spent only two there."

- "On December 31st with the power blackout we were also left without water. This property DOES NOT have a power generator for such emergencies and the water cistern is defective and will not work. I reached out via VRBO application and the local WhatsApp number and got NO response. Later in the evening when power was restored we still had NO WATER. Next day power went out again,water too, making it impossible to stay there. I called the number provided and the only solution I was offered was to wait and pray for the power and water to come back.I had to pay for alternate accommodations at a place with a power generator and a working cistern two towns away. Therefore I ended up having extra expenses in lodging and gas just because Aibonito Hotel (the property) was not prepared to serve guests in case of such emergencies. I didn’t stay on the property and at checkout I sent a WhatsApp message to the same number I didn’t get an answer on December 31st and to my surprise on January 6th, one minute after my message of checkout, I was called by the property manager to ask how was my stay. I let her know of the inconvenience and ask for some kind of compensation to help with the unexpected expenses due to the property’s lack of preparedness and absence of communications from property management. I called and left a message since I didn’t hear anything else and I’m still waiting for some kind of update. "

Aibonito Hotel provides you with the necessary comforts, the same constant of 2 floors (accessible by stairs), for greater privacy. Delicacy and comfort are our first selection.

Every room is located in the second floor, which can only be accessed by stairs.

This room includes a bedside table with lamp, wardrobe, armchair, TV with ROKU system, table, and iron, internet. It has a queen bed for 2 people. We can offer a portable bed for an additional $ 15 per stay.

Check in time is at 3:00 pm and check out time is at 12:00 noon. If early check-in or late check-out is required, it will be an additional cost of $ 25.00 per hour. These requests will be subject to availability.

Private bathroom with its amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) and includes towels and bed linen.

We have a common kitchen area equipped with: dishes, glasses, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and more.

The parking lot is located in front of the facilities.

The internet service is one of courtesy enabled according to the availability of the service of the supplier company.

Our facilities are connected and depend exclusively on the public service for the utilities of the Electric Power Authority and the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority. Reservations are formalized in the recognition and understanding of this condition by the guest, so the interruption of these utilities does not limit or lead to the termination of the reservation or any type of refund.

The Executive Order of Puerto Rico in force, to safeguard the health of our guests and work personnel, entered into force on August 16 and will continue from August 23 onwards.

This new executive order requires proof of the certification (card) of vaccines against COVID -19.
Or evidence of a Negative COVID-19 test of 72 hours or less on the day of your check-in.

It was found through a traveler statement that the guest will be responsible for filling out as part of their "check in"

The law establishes that people who do not comply would be exposed to fines of up to 6 months in jail or a fine not to exceed $ 5000, or both at the discretion of the Court.

That is why our guests commit and agree that once their reservation is formalized, they will send said evidence.
Failure to comply with this new order will lead to the termination of the reservation and will not entail any type of refund.

The use of masks and social distancing in the surroundings and common areas of the facilities will be required.

All responsibility in the physical and public integrity of the use of the room will be on the account and charge to the guest who reserves.

Pets are not allowed, SMOKING on the premises, parties or activities in the room or in the common areas. Any violation of these rules will result in a penalty of $ 250.00. If you have a service dog, the Liability Release Form must be completed. Additional, you will be asked for a deposit of $ 250 towards your reservation.

Our cancellation policy is strict, which means that there will be no money back after the established amount has been paid.
