With the sunset town of Rincon becoming so popular over these last few years it is truly a pleasure to have a place we can call home away from all the crowds and cars. We are located in Rincon close to Aguada which provides guests the experience to enjoy the this famous surf town while providing a place inside a 145 acre private community with it's own secluded beach, pool, exercise room, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts (tennis rackets, balls & basketball provided-bring your pickleball stuff) all located at the water's edge down a nearly mile long driveway from the street (Rt. 115). Our beach-front home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each vacation stay. Our vacation home contains a master (king-sized bed) boasting excellent ocean/beach views and private bathroom with a large walk-through closet/changing area. The second bedroom (also a king-sized bed) boasts the identical great ocean views and doubles as a 'second' master bedroom. The third bedroom for the children consists of two sets of bunk beds (4 twin-size beds). There is enough sleeping accommodations for your entire vacationing families where 2 couples can have their own rooms and the children have their own bunk-beds. Outside the master bedroom/bath suite there is a full hallway bathroom, linen closet and laundry room. Front-loading stainless steel washer (w/ detergent) and dryer are present. The ground floor consists of an overly-sized living room, dining room with views of the ocean along with the den/TV room. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped with all the necessary cooking and bake ware you'll need including a 12 piece of upper-quality Gotham Steel cookware set. The kitchen is also equipped with an ECHO SHOW with UN-LIMITED PRIME MUSIC. You can listen to any song you want, including complete albums of your favorite bands and artists. So much better than a simple CD player or a static-e radio. There are hotel-quality towels for bathing and the beach provided. The den contains a 50 inch 4K UHD Smart television, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. Bring your user names and passwords. Wi-Fi is provided inside the entire villa and first and third floor patios as three Eero wi-fi extenders keep you in touch back home or for business. The third floor patio is partially covered and provides seating for 8 around the bar-height dining table to enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Rincon (best in the summer months). Two-thirds of the patio is open to the sun and is terrific for star gazing. Our large palm tree provides shade when relaxing on the outdoor sofa & lounge furniture while enjoying views of the ocean. There are also a couple of chaise lounges for those who can't get enough sun. Wear sunscreen, the Caribbean sun is indeed strong. These chaise lounges are also great to spend a night sleeping outside underneath the stars while listening to the gentle sounds of the ocean. A light blanket from the hallway closet and pillow will be all that you need for possibly the best slumber of your life (we have personally experienced this ourselves). There is also a first floor patio for barbequing. Large rooms and plenty of sleeping areas along with terrific views of this ocean/beach-front villa makes this property truly unique. Our 3rd floor patio was voted the best of views by residents of the community as unparalleled views of the ocean are provided from there. Surfers take to the ocean right in front of our complex as there are 3 'breaks' present.
The vacation home is located inside the 145 acre, man-gated private community of Punta del Mar Beach Village where you and your loved ones will experience rest and relaxation, quiet times and tranquility, cleanliness of our home along with peace of mind that your children are safe and close-by. The season tide pool allows for younger ones to swim without the worry of big waves crashing at the shore. There are a couple of good-quality boogie boards for your enjoyment. The villa is located along some of the best areas of beach for sea-glass collecting which the children will love to bring back home to show their friends. AJ's generosity was well beyond anything that we had experienced, he truly strives to make the vacation special for his guests. Sarah and Merida were beyond helpful with our every need. One day, someone in our group mentioned that it would be nice to have a few more pool inflatables & magically four new pool air mattresses appeared the next day! When we were having trouble finding the fish market, Merida took her time to drive/lead us right to it. We looked forward to seeing Merida and Joanna every morning. The house is everything in the photos and more. The layout was well thought out, spacious, and provides so many special areas for guests to enjoy - from the grand outdoor area and private balconies with spectacular views of the ocean, to the lower indoor/outdoor kitchen, two hot tubs, infinity pool, area behind the water fall into the pool, lower recreation area, grilling area/second outdoor kitchen and grand indoor theater... the list goes on. It is an experience that our group will remember fondly for years to come. The shower in the pool house did not work, when we reported it, attempts were immediately made to fix it. It didn't matter much, since our guests staying in the pool house preferred the outdoor shower and there is also a nice full bath close to the pool house, that is accessible only from the outside for their privacy. Casa Herdz is truly a special place that we look forward to visiting again!"

- "Great condo, great location. 30 min to Old San Juan and 30 min to Fajardo (kayaks on the bio bay on a moonless night)" - "I travelled with daughter and family for a week at Rio Mar. No elaborate plans just time to relax. Vanessa's communication was excellent from a phone call the night before departure to unsolicited warning about rip currents on the weekend. The apartment was well equipped, clean and spacious. The Resort was lovely and the hotel was fun. Restaurant food and drink were very good. We visited Old San Juan for dinner and a lively night at the Sheraton Conference Center casino. A special local find was a small local restaurant across Rt. 3 on the road to El Yunque called Mi Vida Cafe, but it closes at 6pm. Another rooftop restaurant near Mi Vida Cafe called Bungalu was opened till at least 9. Richies fish restaurant has some unique dishes nd a fantastic view of the bay. The local pool was great and the beach uncrowded. One caution is that if you go off exploring in a car it is easy to get lost since there are few signs and even Google maps are not that accurate."

This beautiful, comfortable and private house on the North Shore Road has decks and patios sited high above a nearby coral reef with the soothing sound of waves and ocean breezes. Regular visitors include pelicans, the truly Magnificent Frigate Bird (wingspans of 7 feet), egrets, laughing gulls, and even the occasional humpback whale! A three-minutes' walk (about 100 yards) down the shore road takes you to a small, intimate beach where you can relax, snorkel and swim and whet your appetite for the sprawling beaches in the Wildlife Refuge a few miles away.

Island Dreemz is comfortably enveloped by ocean breeze and the sound of waves; however, it also offers quiet state-of-the-art, remote-controlled A/Cs in every room. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors display unimpeded views of the ocean from the upper floor.

Both floors have one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. (Only the second bedroom of the lower-level bedrooms has twin beds that can be attached for a king-size option). The bathroom downstairs is attached to the bedroom with the queen bed and is shared by a separate entrance to the other bedroom.

Each floor has a kitchen and living room with separate private entry with world-class art throughout. Downstairs the ceiling is lower, and the kitchen and dining room are smaller than the facilities on the main floor upstairs. There are views of the ocean from the front patio. Plan on getting together on the main floor to enjoy the panoramic views.

Kitchens are fully equipped with china, glassware, coffee makers and tea pots, ceramic cook tops and microwave ovens (because we like to cook!). But you will also have many other dining options. The upstairs kitchen also includes a large Breville convection toaster oven for roasting and baking if desired. Just steps from the kitchen is a large entertaining patio with a large 5-burner outdoor grill.

Hi-speed wifi service is provided free of charge at Island Dreemz when local service is working. Additionally, there is a large flat-screen television ready for streaming use with your own device. (Please bring whatever dongles your device requires.)

- "From the outside walking up, this property looks underwhelming, but when you step through the gate into the garden, you are transported to a wonderful tropical paradise. My wife and I agreed that in all of the years we have booked VRBO properties for our vacations, this property was the nicest we have stayed in. The location is actually within walking distance of the ferry of you don't mind some uphill walking. It's not convenient, but when your ferry gets in after the car rental place has closed, you can skip the cab if you aren't opposed to hiking it. We liked that having two units allowed our older children to have their own space while we were in Vieques. We also took time to enjoy the view from the deck because it was amazing."
