- "My boyfriend and I took a trip at the end of January to get away from the cold. We stayed at HiBird and loved it! We arrived a few hours before check in and they let us drop our bags while we got a drink down the street at a bar right on the beach. The location is great, one block from the beach where they provide lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance as well. Hector at the front desk was so helpful, whatever we asked about he had a recommendation that was always what we were looking for! Our room was very nice, had a full fridge, a cooktop, and a microwave. The rooftop pool isn’t huge but nice for lounging and cooling off (and if you go up for a late night soak in the hot tub there was a little cat that comes by that is very friendly-I wanted to bring it home!) Every other floor has either laundry or an ice machine. The parking lot is a little tight but there was always a spot for our rental. We plan on making HiBird our choice hotel when we visit San Juan!"

The space
Our Guesthouse rooms are located in the rear of our restaurant Bananas which sits directly across from the ocean. The restaurant and rooftop bar are open Sunday-Friday from 11AM until 9:30PM. The restaurant is closed on Saturdays currently.

We are a 15-minute taxi ride for the ferry port. The average cost is around $15-$20 depending on the company. When you arrival in Vieques, there is often several taxi's waiting at the port to pickup guests. You can either hail a taxi upon arrival or schedule one prior. We provide recommendations on taxi companies in our Guidebook that is sent after booking. A simple Google search also shows many local options to schedule with.

Our guest's safety is a top priority. You will arrive at our gated, keypad-controlled free parking lot. Our Security manager will give you access to the property. The property is located right on Vega Baja Urban center in front of the Municipality Police building. It is within a short walk from local market and many great restaurants, cafes, pharmacies.

Other things to note
-Melao Lodge is on the second floor of the building and the only way to access it is through our private staircase.
-The kitchen is available for any guest to use. -Please be courteous and clean after yourself.
-One free parking space per room. The parking lot is gated and keypad-controlled. There is a security camera overlooking the area.
-Our handyman goes up to the rooftop every morning to water the plants and clean the pool.

The boutique hotel is located in the heart of the city of San Juan, and just a few steps away from the sandy beaches of Ocean Park. The space
An award-winning architectural beauty (over 40+ awards) and a TripAdvisor-rated "Top bed & breakfast in Puerto Rico" for 10 consecutive years. In 2022 & 2023, TripAdvisor rated our hotel the "Best of the Best" and ranked us in the top 10% of hotels in the world.

Our hotel has a Ground-Floor pool area open daily from 8 AM - 9 PM, with relaxing greenery and a Balinese-inspired gazebo. Additionally, we have a Rooftop Deck, with spectacular views of the El Yunque Rainforests, Ocean Park Beach, and our neighborhood, enjoy these while relaxing in one of our hammocks or chairs.

Each room at our hotel is comfortably built to fit your needs. All of our rooms have amenities such as Cable TV, an in-room closet with an attached safe, a hair dryer, an iron/ironing board, a stocked refrigerator with your favorite beverages, black-out curtains, and a private bathroom with complimentary body soap, shampoo & conditioner.

This specific room, our "Cozy Room" has a small balcony that faces our pool area and a full-size bed.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all of our common areas once staying with us. Which includes the pool open daily from 8 AM - 9 PM and the rooftop deck open daily from 8 AM - 11 PM. Dream Inn also has beverages for sale throughout the entire day, the complimentary coffee station at the lobby with a common microwave and filtered water station.

Other things to note
All guests checking into Dream Inn will require valid identification (passport, driver's license, etc, etc...) and a valid credit card for a $150.00 security deposit.

Guayacán Guesthouse is an eco-friendly and sustainable building located on the oceanfront road of the Malecón in Esperanza, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, stores, and the beach.

The Tínima room is located on the first floor with direct access to the back garden. This room is named after a Taino princess. The daughter of a Cacique, Tínima's father was from Camaguey. Legend has it that each afternoon her call and image can be seen and heard emerging from the Tínima River in Cuba.

Guayacan Guesthouse is Green-conscious. We run the AC with solar panels. Please be considerate and turn the lights and AC off if you are not in the room.

The second floor terrace is for the exclusive use of second floor guests only. Please be mindful and respectful.

Security Cameras are located on various external locations of the building for your security and wellbeing. The privacy of your rented room is honored and protected. There are no cameras inside any of the rooms.

The Malecon in Esperanza is an active dynamic location, along with its memorable sunsets and spectacular ocean views, you will find many restaurants that play music, cars going down the street, the laughter of people walking, horses looking for something to do, and much more. The Malecon is the heartbeat of Vieques.

The rooms have been built to provide you with both quiet and peace, but please be mindful that the Malecon is not a solitary secluded area in rural Vieques.

We are steps to amazing restaurants, shops and entertainment. Out of all neighborhoods in San Juan, Ocean Park is considered to have the most to offer.

The space
Bright and spacious hotel suite with two beds. (Serta Hotel Line Certified Mattress) Very comfortable beds, outlets by the beds and a Smart Flat Screen TV with Live TV channels, Netflix, Prime, Sling and many other apps. On Suite attached brand new and modern Bathrooms. Hair dryers and toiletries are included. This room is also equipped with a kitchenette that includes a fridge, microwave and coffee machines as well as other kitchen items. This room has a powerful Air Conditioner with adjustable temperatures.

Guest access
Your suite is entirely private. Hotel areas like lobby, office and terraces are accessed by other guests.

Other things to note
Money is not refunded if the electricity, water, and/or internet service is interrupted due to breakdowns in the area. These are situations that are out of our control and we are not responsible for them. It is not very common for this to happen, but if it does happen, the companies in charge of providing these services usually repair it quickly, taking a few hours. It is not common but it can happen that the breakdowns take more than 1 day.

In the event of a power or water outage, guests have the option to check out and be reimbursed for the remaining nights. If you decide to stay, you will not be given a discount and/or refund for your stay. If you decide to stay and later decide to check out only you will be reimbursed for the remaining nights if any.

On some occasions when there is a lot of water consumption in the area or the Water Company is doing repair work and/or improvements, the water pressure can decrease affecting the amount of water that comes out in the shower, which could affect the heater of the shower since it works with the pressure of the water

SeaGate is a family owned B&B that has different styles of rooms that can accommodate 1-6 people per unit depending on the unit.

The space
The Cottage is a lovely space for Couples, Elderly (Cottage is best), Families or a Group of 6 or less. It is fully furnished. Full kitchen with plates, mugs, etc, there is a charcoal BBQ grill and your own parking spot. Bedrooms include bath towels and sheets. Beach towels are in the office.

This is our only "Handicapped Unit" complete with door ramp and shower chair.

Guests arriving after 8 pm please contact property to arrange checkin.
