Coco Beach is about 5KM from town. The restaurant at the resort is very good and there are lots of great restaurants in San Pedro however there are very limited options within walking distance so a golf cart rental is highly recommended. Tropical storm Sara affected Belize during our vacation, and I was incredibly impressed with how the staff at Coco Beach managed the situation. From the moment the forecast announced the storm, the staff at Coco Beach started to communicate to guests to help us prepare. On the day that the weather got bad, the restaurant called all of the rooms to advise that they would be closing early and to see if we needed anything before they closed. Throughout the storm, they communicated to guests regularly and made sure we were well taken care of. And when our flights home were cancelled because of the storm, they seemed to know before we did and they offered for us to keep our upgraded room at the same rate as our original booking. We look forward to returning soon!"

- "We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista. The whole staff was engaging and friendly and really worked together to make all their guests happy and comfortable. We stayed in the sea turtle room and my first thought was, oh no this is going to be noisy! But honestly it was great. The music and live entertainment was very mellow and low key. After dinner we sat in our room and just enjoyed listening. Restaurant closed at 10 so it was never an issue. The pool was great and never crowded. We were blessed with breakfast included and let me tell you it was wonderful! Actually every meal we ate there was wonderful and drinks as well. Ms. Linda went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. I loved the fact that included was transportation from and to the San Pedro airport was included.
