The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the beach is quiet, shady, and studded with hammocks. The food at the restaurant is excellent. But what makes naia the best is the staff who work there. The front desk is always well staffed with polite and attentive professionals. The wait staff is attentive and kind. And the beach staff, led by Manuel, are knowledgeable and well stocked with all the beach toys (kayaks, SUP). The yoga classes with Jakara were amazing, even my husband loved them who is not a frequent yogi. We will definitely return. "

Stayed at Abezza Resort for 3 nights during our trip to Belize, and Melanie took fantastic care of us while there. She arranged for all of our travel from the airport to the water taxi, all of our private custom tours each day (straight from our hut room), and offers fantastic service from the friendly, personable, and knowledgable local drivers to the tour guides and staff employees. Visited 3 Maya sites while there, Lamanai, Xunantunich, and Altun Ha. All were terrific. Food and food service is excellent there. Had a great time. - "Full disclosure: we didn't get to stay here. This is why I would absolutely give it 5 stars regardless: We got caught in Tropical Storm Sara which left us stranded at Belize City. Every hotel in the immediate area was booked. I was able to find this at the last minute and booked it. Erroneously, their website had not shut down in time to prevent me from booking there because they too were experiencing flooding and had to shut down their resort. While most others could have just looked at us and said "sorry, too bad" they not only helped us, but assisted us in finding another hotel. Pete, the owner even gave us a ride to our hotel. Let me tell you, when we get back here one day, we will come patron the resort when it's not in a storm - they were so incredibly warm, accommodating, and from what we could see in the dark, the resort grounds looked amazing. - "We love being outside of town. The property was really lovely and the staff was great. Very safe and quiet. They have their own bar and restaurant right on the water and there are 3 within 2 miles. Just so you know, San Pedro is a small village. There is only one Dirt road north. We love that we were out of town, however, if you want to keep busy The resort is 7 miles up the road and you will need to rent a golf cart at the resort each time you want to go to town. The resort can schedule a few of the excursions straight from our dock. The excursions were great! They also rent bikes for only five dollars. Just be aware that there are many rutsand puddles. We rented bikes to go north up to tranquility beach, Margarita resort and restaurant. That’s 7 miles one way. It is not advisable to use a golf cart or bike at night. The one way taxi to town is $40-50. "

Our family of four are all gf for health reasons, not by choice. The dining staff went to great lengths to prepare safe dishes to eat for us which was greatly appreciated!"

Book the trip with Edwin to go to Caye Caulker for a day. It was so much fun. There was only 2 other couples there when we were and we became friends and went to Caye Caulker together. The pork belly was especially exquisite as a meal with it being Michelin Star in its presentation, quality and taste notes. Antonio, Melvin, Carlos, Noas, Juan, and Pablo did an excellent job looking after all of the guests in their roles as servers, guest services, and chef (Carlos...). I don't often take the time to write as extensive or as glowing a review as I have here, but I feel that this life experience warrants my time and a review worthy of the unique experience that is Ray Caye. May the staff and the island continue to prosper and excel. The staff esprit de corps and the quality of the product delivered are truly deserving of my best wishes. The space
Our Cabana suites are all roomy abodes (500sq. ft.), finished in fine cedar from the Belizean jungle. Featuring high wood ceilings, a living room, a bedroom area, large ceiling fans (air conditioning can be added for an additional fee), a hot shower and private bathroom, fully outfitted kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, dishes, glassware and utensils), international cable TV (including movie channels), and WiFi. Each cabana has daily maid service, so after a day of fun, you come home to a freshly cleaned private house.

Guest access
You will be able to access the peach, the pool, the restaurant-bar, the garden, the beach bar, the conference room, the office in addition to your own cabana.

The casitas are on a resort is just over a mile south of San Pedro Town, which is far enough from the hustle and bustle to provide a truly tranquil setting and its own private beach access (the cove shaped beach is over 300ft long!). We have a scuba school on our site and we are currently adjusting our facilities to be the most yoga-friendly resort on the Island. Additionally, we have experience hosting groups who come for missions as well as large families for vacations and reunions.

Diving in Belize is not to be missed! The Belize Barrier Reef is the second largest in the world and if you are a diver or want to become one, our resort will help you plan a dive with a local tour center!

Located 2.5 miles South of San Pedro in the safe and quiet Holiday Lands neighborhood, just steps from Southside Security station. Many restaurants directly across the street is available for delivery or dine in and a fine dining restaurant is a 2 min walk. Lighthouse Beach Villas offers its guests free use of Kayaks, Paddleboards and Bikes to explore land and sea. Our on-site staff is there to help you book any excursions fishing, sailing, snorkeling, diving, parasailing, food tours, mainland tours, Mayan Ruins, Zip-lining, cave tubing and so much more.

Other things to note
Our staff can make all your travel arrangements to the island. Just book your international flight to BZE and we can do the rest.

FLIGHTS: Taking a hopper flight is the easiest way to get to the island. Please contact us upon booking with your arrival times to BZE our staff would be happy to arrange all your transfers for you with Tropic Air and transfers to the hotel. Other options via water taxi are also available but will add a minimum of 1.5 hours to your travel time.

TRANSPORTATION: You will want a golf cart (if you would like to explore our amazing island) for your stay. Our staff can arrange a cart to be delivered by a reliable golf cart company directly to Lighthouse Beach Villas for your use. The trip to San Pedro, Town by Golf Cart is 15-20 min ride. There are no rental cars on the island (just carts). Taxis are also readily available but will need to be contacted by phone.
