Cons: room itself quite small, the water out of the tap and shower is salt water (or brackish) which is weird I thought, the fridge in my room didn't work, there's a safe in the room but you have to pay $2 a day to use it, it was quite noisy and almost impossible to sleep in (lots of banging noises, footsteps from above and in the hallways, etc.), beach chairs have to be reserved (and cost 15 euros a day) and "sold out" before I even arrived (I emailed the hotel days in advance to make a reservation and no one ever responded), "reserving" a chair at the pool is not supposed to be allowed but lots of people dump their stuff on a chair and leave for hours and no one says a word, I ordered a drink from the bar which cost like 12 euros and it had ZERO alcohol in it (it was a mai tai that was basically just pineapple juice and ice). I would stay at The Sea Hotel again (the terrace alone was worth it) but if they did some work on some of the amenities (and policies) it would have been a much more enjoyable stay. "

The cleaning staff will do anything for you, even clean up when youre poorly(without a fuss! and then ask how you are the next day!) The food is standard for a currently 3star hotel but there is a wide variety to cater for all ages and nationalities! Piella, pizza, pasta, chips, meats, fish, rice, salad bars, burgers, hot dogs, mousakka and so much more Bar - yes two drinks a time but that is to get the queues down which they do very fast and you can go up as much as you like - ALL INCLUSIVE! but the most important thing is next."

The beach area around Son Baulo is still wonderful and we had a nice drink in the seafront cafe. Our hotel, EIX Platja Daurada, was at the opposite end of town with easy access to the main roads to Palma, Inca and Alcudia. It is an ideal lkocation for expoloring, with easy access to Arta, Cala Radjada and the coast with the Caves of Arta and the Caves of Drac. We went to the Arta Caves, which were magnificent. We also visited Alcudia, Polenca, Cala Radjada, Arta and Inca. Inca market is huge, but there is not a great deal of diversity amongst the stalls - leather goods, jewellery, hats, belts, bags and wallets, watches, kitchen implements, flowers, fruit and vegatables, and a few with lace goods. Alcudia market is as good. Our hotel was excellent and we would stay there again. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bar is very good, while breakfast left you spoiled for cholice. The pools and adjoining beach are magnificent. Majorca is great; the roads are greatly improved, but watch out for cyclists! It is also good to not have to pay to park! Make sure you try Tapas."

Lovely pool - all lit up at night with fountains. No gym though and golf range is pretty basic. Rooms good (a little small), but have fridge and aircon (which switches off if you open the balcony door (as we discovered - it wasn't broken!)). We were top floor (419) at north end - overlooking tennis courts. Very quiet - maybe a bit noisier at other end. Lifts a bit of a squeeze and the one to the pool level was quite a wait sometimes. Lots of Germans, but no problem with that (get by in German more than Spanish). Lots of things for kids. Wifi expensive (each mobile / tablet has to pay separately - come on, this is the 21st century - make it free! And you need to pay for the safe too! - "This hotel exceeded expectations. The view from the rooftop and plunge pool was insane. Usually sleeping on a pull out sofa bed isnt as comfy as the main bed but this was not the case here. The same mattress was used that was on the main bed so very comfy. The facilities in the room were an excellent addition without paying extra. A mini fridge and coffee machine with pods, beach towels aswell as showering towels. The hotel was very clean and modern. Carmen, the receptionist throughout our stay was very approachable, cheery and a smiley face to welcome us on arrival. On departure she went above and beyond to help us when our private transfer let us down with pick up time. (Transport company not linked to hotel). Due to us nearly missing our flight she contacted the company on our behalf and then carried on sorting a private taxi instead so that we got to the airport in time. Even although the sky bar is open to the public, at all times the hotel was very quiet with not much noise. We were in room 101 and would definitely stay again. "

- "Spent a week here with my boyfriend, and it was a lovely stay. Nice and quiet hotel, mainly couples staying when we were there. The area is beautiful with nice restaurants and bars around. Also super close to the beach. The pool was also very nice. Easy access with bus from Palma, only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Single adult journey is €4.50 payable by card only and at busier times prepare to have to wait and potentially not be able to board. Half board, with drinks an extra cost during evening meals. Always such varied choice, with meals on rotation and a huge standard offering. Evening entertainment on Monday's and Wednesdays. Thank you for another lovely stay, I'll be back!"

- "Lovely quiet area, 4 minutes walk to the shops and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Room had a fridge but no kettle - kettle can be rented for €25 but we bought one from the hardware store for €17! - "Our experience was absolutely positive. the house is literally 10 meters from the beach, on the last day I went down to the sea barefoot. There are no air conditioners but they provided us with 2 fans so as not to suffer from the heat during the night. the house has everything you need to be comfortable. Can Picafort is a truly splendid town, the sea is wonderful and the promenade full of places to drink and eat well is right outside the house. We are very satisfied, the only negative note is having to leave."

The hotel is small, so it was quiet and chill. The location is great. It’s right on the beach, but it’s close to the main strip of shops and restaurants. It’s also not far from the nature reserve, if you want a quieter beach. The Nusa Dua restaurant downstairs takes care of breakfast, and they are all equally lovely and welcoming. It was easy to get to the hotel using the shuttle system. (I used Transunion and booked with Shuttle Direct.) Communication with the transportation company was super clear and the driver dropped me just a block away. I highly recommended Hotel Sa Roqueta. I would definitely stay again!"
