We found that the food was beyond 5 star...and the feel of the entire hotel was just wonderful The only negative thing that we found during our stay there, was that the internet was a bit flakey -- had to keep putting in the password during the sessions, and since we paid extra for this service for the week, we were a bit disappointed in its performance. Otherwise the place is really wonderful. We especially liked the area, walking along the seawall was outstanding and the many places to eat and drink within minutes of the hotel were outstanding. - "Simple EXCELLENT!!" - "I stayed at the property at the end of May 2024 with a half board package. It was easy to find the hotel and they have additional off road parking that you may use if coming by car. The restaurant had great breakfasts and it lovely that the dinner options mostly rotated every evening, with fresh fish fillets and veggies being served every evening. The food quality was to a high standard. As a note, men are required to wear trousers for dinner to be allowed access into the restaurant. The staff were wonderful and were always helpful where required. The hotel room is a bit outdated but the room was very clean. The other facilities at the hotel were lovely, spa, sauna and steam rooms, pool and the lunch restaurant. The staff and guests cater to a lot of German tourists and as noted in a previous review, you may see a bit of nudity from other guests on their balconies. "

During dinner they always blocked the water fountain off and you had to pay for bottled water. - "Fabulous hotel with some of the most hardworking and wonderful staff. I was a little apprehensive when I arrived as the sunbed area is restricted and backs directly onto the promenade but I needn’t had worried. There was always plenty of space and a wonderful atmosphere. Felt very comfortable as a solo traveller. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. Would recommend treating yourself to a massage and a few hours in the spa. Great choice of fresh, delicious buffet food. Can’t wait to go back!"

As mainly frequented by Germans would suggest a smattering of German and Spanish would be useful. Restaurant staff particularly helpful and friendly. Suspect resort gets quite busy in summer months so if wanting a quieter break Spring and end of Summer may be best. Spain offers very good value for money for Brits at the moment and hotel and resort do not disappoint on value for money for mid hotel costs. It always depends what you are looking for, for the price you pay and this is good value, frequented by Spanish so that says something. Quite a few solo travellers in residence and would suggest good hotel for them."

This hotel caters to a large German visitor base, so everything is in German and got are greeted in German by reception staff which is a little weird if you're not German like us. Good variety at breakfast however, we could hear chairs scraping across the floor below is from early morning as the breakfast room filled up (our suite room was directly above the breakfast room) so this didn't make for a relaxing lie-in. Loud voices also carried into the room from the hallway from early morning. The central cleanliness of the hotel was of a high standard but our room wasn't serviced once in the 3 days we stayed, meaning the floors and towels were dirty. "
