The food is excellent and with the secert bar you always can get your mojito. It is clean and quiet, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I think it is a family running the place. It is completely walkable to everywhere I wanted to go. The only things I could find to mention that were less than perfect was the wifi access, though that seems to be a problem throughout the country, so I certainly can not blame the hotel for that. And there was internet, it is just slow and a bit glitchy, but certainly workable so long as you are patient. Also, the restaurant on site seems nice, though I thought it was a bit expensive, so I chose to eat in the other places near by. Havana has no shortage of restaurants, and good food costs good money, but it was just a bit more than I was hoping to spend on this trip. That is not a criticism, just an observation. If I was back in Havana in the future I would not hesitate to stay here again."

- "My husband and I were here for our anniversary. Also our first visit to Cuba! The house is not located in Havana which was fine with me! The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They will take great care of you. Shout out to Adrian, Ivan, and Jennifer! A/C in room and we had the king room with shower too. Breakfast is good if you’re a morning eater. They will literally take your order each day. Go to Pazillo for cocktails, food, and music that you can walk to. Also visit As Cafe for local food. If you are in Havana go to Maximo. We ate there many times. Get the shrimp in garlic sauce. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! We didn’t get to experience the rooftop bar because we were out so next time. "

- "The best experience ever. Trinidad is a beautiful coloful town and everything is amazingly beyond our expectation. Our host Cristian and every staff at Lola Trinidad help us with kindness. When we woke up and opened the blue wood window, a table with white cloth and fresh flowers was set - our sweet breakfast was waiting for us. Fresh juice, delicious food, best coffee, etc. Everything was well prepared with sincere heart. When we wanted to find a dance place, the security guard taught us how to pronounce the spanish name of the place so we could find the right place, full of patience and care. When we got back in the late night, the guard greeted us warmly and turned on all the lamp bulbs for us. We had a unique makeup experience with the best drag queen artist and tried local dresses. 😆I love it so much. Every decoration, plant, furniture here is well designed in an artistic way. And people welcomed me and made me feel at home. There are lots of things I hope to try next time: salsa lessons, horse riding, natural pools, massage, sugarcane trip... All fantastic! The trip at Lola Trinidad warms my heart and always reminds me there are many beautiful things and kind people in the world. After the trip, I have more courage and passion to live my life and love my life. It is a blessing."

- "The room (e.g. the bathroom) was really clean, but the entire hostal is over 100 years old. It is true that it was kept in a good condition (the furniture were super old school), however sleeping in a 100 year old bed and room wasn't the coolest feeling in our trip. The room had a smell of old stuff which made us feel suffocating after a couple of minutes of staying inside. I was happy not to sleep more than one night in that room... the breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful though. The location to reach the city was also perfect!"

Beautiful casa, very quiet and peaceful, lots of places to sit and relax in the shade as well as the roof terrace with views over the town. Super friendly family who are ready to help as needed, delicious breakfast too. Easy access to beach by taxi or bus, and day trips into the national parks within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here. " - "The place was beautiful just like in the pictures. The rooms are small but they were built hundreds of years ago so that comes with the territory. The hosts were helpful and kept the place clean. We stayed 3 nights and there happened to be a power outage each day/night that lasted about 2 to 3 hours each time. This place has solar panels and a whole house battery. The battery isn't big enough to power everything but it is big enough to have the lights on. That is a big deal. Try showering in complete darkness. We went to the rooftop during one of the power outages at night and there were only about 3 to 4 other buildings that had lights on for as far as we could see. The location is great as well. You are about a block and a half away from the main church square where all the action takes place. Another nice feature of the room we stayed in is the sound proofing of the old super thick walls. There is the Casa de Musica in the town square and it can get pretty loud and they stay open until midnight. We could hear it in the street in front of the house but couldn't hear anything inside. We slept like babies. We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it."
