That was nice. The host was very welcoming and stay late to wait for me as my flight from Miami was late. She gave me all the information I needed around the area, where to shop, dine and general safety tips. The refrigerator was well stocked with water, soft drinks, juice and beer. WIFi was free and ok for Havana. The only negative that has nothing to do with this apartment is the fact the building itself did not have stairs. Maybe I didn’t see it. I was worried about a blackout and the lights went out and the elevator was malfunction. Or in the case of an emergency, there was no escape route. This is Havana and I’m sure building codes were different from the US. In all I loved the area. It was quiet and save and very close to the Malecón. I enjoyed taking daily walks there. "
