- "Gorgeous views from the bar / dining area out over the bay. The pool was lovely, and quiet, very relaxing. The hotel is in a great location to walk into Cassis (about 4 minutes downhill) which is a beautiful port with a variety of restaurants and shops, boat trips and a small beach. It really is a wonderful location. We were in the south of France to watch some Olympic football matches and had originally planned to stay in Marseille, but I'm so glad I found this hotel instead. You can get the train into Marseille if you want (about a 30 minute journey) or drive. Cassis is a bit of a hidden gem and I wish we could have spent longer exploring. Breakfast was very good - lots of options and kids eat free. We had a family room, with a connecting door which worked very well for us and our 2 kids. Only downside is there is limited parking at the hotel, and also there is no lift. But we managed okay as there are only 2 floors (3 including the ground floor). Definitely recommend. "
