I had been hesitant about booking for a family stay as I hadn't seen much in the reviews about peoples experiences taking children here. Suffice to say, I'm incredibly glad I booked! We upgraded to an executive room before arrival which was really straightforward to do. When we got there we were greeted by the kindest women at reception and the manager(?) who surprised my son with an Easter egg. David who showed us to our room was fantastic at making us feel welcome and gave us loads of great information. Our room was beauitful, clean and spacious with excellent amenities - our sons highlights were the tv in the bathroom, having his own "VIP" bathrobe, getting the double sofa bed to himself and the room service milk & cookies before bed - he really was a VIP! The spa and swimming facilities were excellent and every member of staff we came across over the weekend (here and in the hotel) was so warm and friendly. We were spoilt for choice with breakfast both mornings courtesy of the lovely selection of continental options, the breakfast buffet and the added made to order options on the menu. All the personal touches throughout our stay really made it a super special weekend and we will definitely be back the next time we return to Edinburgh. "

Pitilie Pods are situated 1.5 miles outside Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire, surrounded by farm land with the most magnificent views of Schiehallion, Farragon, Ben Vrackie, Beinn a’Ghlo and the Glenlyon Hills.

Our luxury Glamping Pods make the ideal base to explore Highland Perthshire or the perfect country getaway to relax and unwind, watching the sunset overlooking the hills surrounding Aberfeldy.

We currently have five glass-fronted luxury bespoke timber pods which can comfortably accommodate up to two adults and two children or three adults, all with convenient parking.

All of our Pods (except Schiehallion Pod) are pet friendly for you and your pet to enjoy a great break together (dogs must not be left unattended, you should bring their bed and not let up on the furniture).

Beinn A Ghlo, Farragon and Schiehallion Pods all have hot tubs, allowing you to enjoy the bubbles while looking at our magnificent view!

The interior is modern and fresh. Each pod has a comfy double bed and electric shower room. The living area has an L-shaped sofa bed which is very simple to pull in or out. All our pods boast under-floor heating to keep you warm and cosy all year round – it is Scotland after all!

If you want to cook for your family or perhaps create a romantic meal, there is a fully equipped kitchen. These include a hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Each pod has a table and chairs and its own decking to admire the panoramic views. There is storage on the decking for your shoes and boots etc. Don't forget your torch, there is no outside lighting and though we do sometimes have amazingly beautiful starry and moonlit nights its not always!

Pitilie Pods are located in a stunning area and perfect for relaxing, watching the sunset overlooking the hills surrounding Aberfeldy.

During the winter period, especially December to February, please only book if arriving in a 4x4 vehicle. Our drive way is a private road and can be rather tricky to drive on snowy days.

We are located 1.5 miles from the historic town of Aberfeldy which is part of Heart200 and gateway to the highlands. If you looking for something other than sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the view, you will find an information pack in your Pod with lots of activity suggestions.

Aberfeldy has a well stocked CO-OP convenience store on the main street ( Dunkeld Road) and a Petrol Station.

There is a cinema, swimming pool, putting and some lovely walks in and around the area.

Lowwood Lodges have five, five bedrooms lodges based on a working farm in Houston, renfrewshire. Each lodge has large open plan living and dining space with fully equipped kitchen. Each lodge has three superking beds and two king beds along with five bathrooms one of which is accessible. Every lodge has a large fenced garden space with wood fired hot tubs.

Ash/ Oak and Yew lodge are able to accomodate 4 legged family members.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all your self catering needs including air frier and Nespresso coffee machine. Ash lodge has a large fenced back garden and wood fired hot tub. Your 4 legged friends are welcolme to join you on your stay for an extra charge of £15 per dog per night.

Please note hot tubs arent hot on arrival as they are wood fired, should you wish for it to be hot on arrival please contact us to arrange a pre heat service. All wood is provided.
