If you’re a whisky lover, just bathe in what you’ll find: drams that you won’t see elsewhere, and even if you could you wouldn’t find a better place to enjoy them. But it’s not the things that make a place, it’s the people. Graeme and Emma’s hospitality heritage shone from beginning to end. We genuinely felt like we were at home during our entire stay. If you ever get a chance to visit, you have to stay here. Once wasn’t enough. We’re already thinking about coming back."

- "Staying in Aberdeen for sporting event with daughters. This apartment was stunning, everything was to a very high spec. I discovered things I never knew you could get in M&S. There was every possible item you could possibly need and we were cooking and eating in everyday. Great to have the dishwasher and washer/dryer so convenient. Everything was spotlessly clean and we felt very safe both in the apartment and in the area which is beautiful by the river and very quiet. We were only 5 minutes from the city centre and 10 from the aberdeen sports centre. 3 minutes from a huge retail park with supermarkets too. Richard was a lovely host, very attentive and fab communication. Definitely would return and would recommend to anyone to stay. Beware you might want to buy all the lovely gadgets for your own home though! The coffee machine was my favorite. The colour changing lights for my daughters. "

The apartment is perfectly situated between the city centre and trendy district of Leith. Countless bars, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc, right on the doorstep..

This large bedroom space has 2 double beds, and plenty of storage space. The room gets plenty of natural light and is a pleasure to be in. Bedding and towels provided.

There is a spacious shared kitchen, with everything you need to cook. Pots, pans, plates, dishwasher, electric hob, oven and all the other facilities you'd expect from a modern kitchen.
I also keep a cupboard stocked with various things for the guests to share. Tea, coffee, cereals and other things can be found here, for free use. This cupboard is found on the far left of the top cupboards in the kitchen,
There is also a cupboard allocated to your room number to keep your own stuff in. Please empty this when you're leaving, feel free to leave stuff for others to use in the shared cupboard.

Living Room:
There is a Hifi and TV in the living room. Please feel free to use these and make yourself at home, but keep the noise to a reasonable level for the sakes of other guests and neighbours.

Sometimes I'm not available in person, as I work out of town a lot. Sometimes I'm around and will happily come and meet you to help with any problems you may have.
You can always get me on phone, 'Whats' or through Airbnb, though.

Small bedroom with a king size bed, close to the tram, buses, shops and even nature. Top floor flat in a traditional Scottish tenement building, on the main road. You can catch 2 buses from here: 1 to the city centre (bus and train station) and 35 to Royal Mile, tram to the airport is 7 min walk, large Tesco, Boots, Lidl five min walk. Princes Street & Royal Mile are 25min on foot, or 10min by bus/tram.
The room itself is small. It is the warmest one in the flat. You MUST take your shoes off!

The space
The flat is in an 125 years old building on a top floor with 67 steps leading to it,no lift. The room is also small and it is best for short trips (unless agreed otherwise in which case we will try to make more space for you).
Free parking is available on street most of the time, however, Mon-Fri 8.30-17.30 charges apply. You can also find free of charge spaces in a nearby street or temporarily in Tesco car park.

Guests can access the kitchen if they wish so, But I would appreciate if they could let us know that they want to use it beforehand. This is a family home hence it is used often.

We are VERY busy, so if you would like to spend some time with us, please, let us know and I will try to make sure that we have a cup of tea/food/drink together.

We are on the top floor and your room is facing the east and the street. We recycle, so, please, help to save the planet too.
Heating is set to maximum of 20'C in the morning and evening. It is not on during the day and it will not be on April-early October.

Free parking is available and generally easy to find. There’s a driveway outside the house (which may occasionally be in use by other guests), on-street parking, and even a large, usually empty car park just at the end of the street - all subject to availability.

🏠 The House
This is an older home, full of character, but please note that the walls and doors are quite thin. The house is usually very quiet, but if you’re a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs just in case.

Not from the UK? You might find the doors a little different here - just use a gentle but firm hand and you’ll get the hang of it. Clear instructions for locking the main door are posted right on the door itself.

The home features artwork from Wee Blue Coo, a local company that showcases Edinburgh-based artists - it's a lovely local touch we hope you enjoy.

The room is licensed and insured for a maximum of two guests. For this reason, I cannot accommodate additional guests under any circumstances.

📍 Location
This is a quiet residential area - great for a peaceful stay, but not packed with entertainment or nightlife. That said, the city centre is easily reached by bus and staying here is a much more affordable option.

There’s a local convenience shop nearby for basics, and a large supermarket (Cameron Toll) about a 15-minute walk away.

🚌 Getting Around
Excellent bus links with four nearby routes (3, 8, 29, and 31) taking you to the city centre in 15–30 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses run every 5–10 minutes, making it super easy to get around.

🌿 Local Highlights
Love nature? Enjoy a nearby walk through Blackford Hill for stunning views and peaceful trails. The house is also close to the Royal Edinburgh Infirmary and within walking distance of the University of Edinburgh’s King’s Buildings.

Suitable for staff working at Crosshouse Hospital

A private room and bathroom in my flat, which is 5 mins from the bottom of Leith walk. There are lots of great cafes and dining options. There are buses every few minutes to the city centre which takes 15 minutes. You can walk in to town in 30 minutes. The shore is a short walk which offers some of the best eating in Edinburgh. Pilrig Park is right by my place and the Water of Leith walkway is great to stretch your legs. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travellers.

Beautiful double room near Leith Walk. Close to the city centre, public transport, shops and supermarkets. Edinburgh is best explored on foot, and the flat is perfectly situated between Portabello, The Shore, Royal Mile and Princess street. You can walk almost everywhere in 25-30 minutes.
