- "Tucked away just off Queen Margaret Drive and opposite the Botanic Gardens, Embassy Suites offers a laid back and comfortable experience. Very good car parking (access via Clouston Street and Clouston Lane off the B808) and the room was more than adequate with an electric cooker (untried and it looked less than pristine) a microwave, a fridge etc. No DVD player and bring your own tea towels and kitchen rolls because you won't find any here. That said, it was very quiet with the only noise from other residents trying to find the squeakiest floorboards in the place, and in a couple of minutes you can be at Great Western Road and Oran Mor - the music / theatre venue, an in less than ten minutes you can be in Byres Road with Hillhead subway station and its shops, bars and restaurants and that West End ambience. Another fifteen minute walk and you can be at Kelvingrove and one of the worlds finest art galleries which is still free to get in. We usually stay in the city centre, but this will be our new home from home for future visits."

I've made this space into a happy, comfy, friendly flat.

Excellent location. Less than 5 minute walk to a train station with trains to the city centre every 10 minutes or so (train takes 6/7 mins). Locally you are within walking distance of shops, restaurants & bars in Strathbungo and Shawlands. Queens park is also within 5 minute walk. O2 Academy nearby as is Hampden.

The flat is in a quiet cul de sac. While you are here I will use my en suite so you can have the main bathroom to yourself.

The space
Own bedroom with plenty storage. Very comfy bed with Simba mattress. Will have full access to kitchen (including fridge, washing machine, gas cooker, etc), living room, Wi-Fi and Sky television, Alexa, your own bathroom lots of parking right outside. Your bathroom is brand new and beautifully decorated and features a whirlpool bath and a rainfall shower.

I recently had some feedback regarding the comfort of the sofa bed so I've purchased a Simba mattress for that too so guests utilising the sofa bed will be super comfy.

I've also recently had some feedback regarding the cat's food, so that's in my room now too away from the guests.

You are within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, Queen's park, Shawlands. Pollock Park, Bellahouston Park & Glasgow Green all not too far. I sometimes walk into the city centre which takes approx 25 mins, otherwise there are regular trains and buses that will take you in.

I have just moved up to Glasgow from London and have created a lovely new home right opposite Kings Park and 5 minutes from Linn Park. Its next to a bus stop which goes straight into town plus there's free on street parking. I have a lovely outdoor patio area for the infamous sunny weather! The room is large with a King size bed and plenty of room to relax. The kitchen is fully stocked with a microwave, airfryer and blender; and if you fancy you can play the piano. And Ken - who's brilliant.

Times Top 30 wine bar (with great food) right across the road in a string of independents… corner shop, pizza stop, restaurants, deli, green grocers. Walking distance to Tramway art centre, Hidden Gardens, Bellahouston Park for gigs, Burrell (UK Museum of the Year) and several parks. Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stops right outside for city tours.

If we're away, our neighbour helps set up your room for you and we're always just a message away.
