There is a curtain in the doorway between the Bonus Room and the vanity area for privacy. Please note that access to the Bonus Room is through Bedroom 1 and both rooms share the vanity area and toilet/shower room.

The livingroom, kitchen, lake room, bathroom, and laundry room have all been newly renovated. There is a sleeper sofa and a double recliner love seat; swivel rocker chair; and a live edge wood bartop with three stools in the livingroom.

The kitchen has a table with six chairs; new appliances; a Keurig Duo coffee maker; K-cups; sugar; creamer; blender; coffee grinder; toaster; electric kettle; ample cabinets; granite countertops; and stone backsplash.

The lake room has three walls of double hung windows with lake views; two sectional sofas that seat a total of eleven people; coffee tables; floor lamps; and a ceiling fan with light.

The game room is accessed from the back deck and has lake views; a full sofa, bookshelves, tables and lamps; a foosball table; a kitchenette with sink and mini frig; a pub table with four chairs; a tv; cornhole and hillbilly golf games; board games; and a tackle closet for fishing gear.

Outside, there is off-street parking for six vehicles (overnight on-street parking is not allowed); a large deck space with sectional sofa, tables and chairs, a bar top area with seating, and a covered porch with lounger seating; a new grill; new fully concreted fire pit with grill top and adirondak seating; and automatic lighting. There is a 9' wide boat house (no lift) and a dock (with ladder to the water and concrete benches) available for your boating needs (the boathouse will be upgraded to a boat lift which can handle most pontoons in the near future). The backyard is fully fenced in for safety, however, the gate does not have a child proof lock so please watch your little ones. . NOTE REGARDING HEATING/AC: This property has two separate central heating and AC units and stand-alone AC units in Bedrooms 2 & 3. The thermostat for the first central unit is located in the living room and controls the climate in the downstairs areas (including the Game Room), the stairs and small desk area, and Bedrooms 2 and 3. The thermostat for the second central unit is located in Bedroom 1 and controls the climate for the entire primary bedroom suite and the hall near the bathroom.

NOTE REGARDING FIRE ESCAPE STAIRS: Bedroom 1 has access to a fire escape which consists of a large hatch and a latch which opens up to a very sturdy, large wooden stairway that connects to the Game Room. These stairs are for Emergency Use only. For safety, we have placed signs to that effect and have also installed baby gates at the top and bottom of these stairs in case little ones are around.

Drive your boat (or rental) to the dock, launch once and keep docked when not in use. Keep your car parked there or drive back to the house and walk (or perhaps ride a golf cart) back and forth to the dock throughout your stay.

The space
This cottage is FUN with custom designed themed rooms and a new stenciled patio that overlooks an island full of wildlife just across the channel. It has a boat dock for your use or bring some rafts and just chill in the water under the sun. We recommend water shoes while swimming because of shells and unknown items that may be on the water floor. At night turn on the overhead led string lights to set the mood and enjoy the deck that overlooks the patio.
