Feels secluded, even though it's conveniently close to town. Pleasant deck with hot tub and fire pit and breakfast table, facing the woods. The shower is a bit tight and the bathroom door (folding door with slats) doesn't give much privacy. TV reception is limited but we didn't use it much and had a Roku stick for movies. Would be nice to add shower soap and a hair dryer. But overall, a great value!"

Rocky Fork lake nearby. Visitors to the "Wilberness" Log Cabin will experience peace and quiet on this 2-acre property.
Relax while sitting on the front or back porch of this real log cabin listening to all the bird songs. There is plenty of wildlife to watch including visits from many small animals and an occasional deer. You can hear a rooster from afar who supplies your wake up call in the morning !

There is plenty of seating for outdoor dining and a hot tub for relaxing. A grill and a large fire pit complete the outdoor ensemble.
You will find two bedrooms upstairs. A queen bed in the master (2ppl) and a double bed and a set of bunk beds in the second bedroom (4ppl) A double air mattress for sleeping is also on hand. (2ppl). There is also a Pack and Play available. Tent camping on the abundance of flat land is available in the side yard.
The kitchen comes fully equipped if you choose to cook. Everything you would need is provided along with a few pantry items. A dining table is next to the kitchen for eating inside. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower, sink, and toilet. The linen closet supplies your sheets and towels for your stay. Some cleaning supplies and laundry items are supplied. A washer and dryer are available.
The living room has a working fireplace/wood-burning stove. There is a TV with U Tube TV service and a Blue Ray player with various movies to watch.
Wireless internet service is available throughout the cabin. Data is very limited. Wilderness is a get away with very minimal wi-fi service. Movies or anything else should be streamed. Please.

There is ample parking at the cabin in front of the garage for your boat and trailer.
The garage, however, is the owner's property and is off-limits for use.

One of the grandkids favorites was the bunk bed. We went over to see the goats and chickens multiple times and fed them lettuce and carrots. The cabin was super clean and contained everything we needed. It was a extra special weekend we all will not forget."

Our camper is a 40 foot Gulfstream Kingsport that has been completely renovated inside and out.
You will find that everything you need for a comfy stay is right at your fingertips.

THE SPACE
The camper is located at the top of the hill making for a very private experience.
We are in the main house and available for any questions or advice on things to do around the area. Otherwise we strive to offer a private getaway for our guests so you won't see us much, however you may get a visit from our 2 very friendly labs Eddie and Kayce
Our space is perfect for a couples getaway, the bedroom has a king size bed. There is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room.
The hot tub is a Hot Springs perfect for up to 3 people. We regularly check the water and sanitize between each guest please enjoy the hot tub responsibly and follow hot tub rules.
We are located Approx. 15-20 minutes from our quaint town of Peebles Ohio
In and around Adams County Ohio
We are Approx. 2 miles from Serpent Mound and in Locust Grove Ohio stop by and see Tom Johnson at The Rock Shop totally worth a visit.
Also close by you can launch your kayaks on Brush Creek.

Nature preserves and Amish Country all around us with great bakeries and antiques and we are very well known during hunting season. Although we are closed for the winter months we will be back opened in March 2025 be sure to start booking your spring and summer getaways now. HUNTERS. The Paint Creek Lake Wildlife Area is at the end of our road with over 5,000 acres of Public Hunting Grounds. There is plenty of access with well marked parking areas. One third of the Area is agriculture (corn and beans), one third is woods and one third is reverting prairie. There is plenty of parking. Back up on the gravel drive and hang your field dressed deer right from the bed of your truck. On the back deck is an outdoor work table with running water to process your game. We can provide maps and ODNR Hunting Regulations booklets. Hunters can also find rabbit, turkey, quail, pheasant and dove in the area. However, the best dove hunting is found at the Fallsville Wildlife Area, 15 miles from the rental. Paint Creek State Park’s Archery Range is about 20 miles from the rental and not far from there are two Archery Stores.

FISHING ENTHUSIASTS have TWO Ohio State Park Lakes to choose from, less than 15 miles from the rental. There is plenty of parking. Outback is a fish cleaning station. Check out the Fishing Tournament Schedules for Rocky Fork Lake and Paint Creek Lake.

Your accommodations feature a very large kitchen with full dining table that seats 6. All countertops and island are granite + plenty of storage and cabinets. The kitchen island seats additional 3. • The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.

responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or

PET POLICY
1) Guests are permitted to bring no more than 1 dog (total) weighing 60 pounds or less, unless the Host agrees in advance. There is an additional fee added to the stay for any guests bringing their dogs. This fee does not apply to `Registered Service Animals`.

2) The dog must be healthy and up to date on rabies (required every 3 years) and DHPP (vaccines for Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus).

3) The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.

4) Guests will not leave the dog unattended at the home. If dog is unattended, it must be within a kennel or crate.

5) The dog is prohibited from being on furniture unless covered with a provided blanket. Any signs of the dog on furniture without a blanket or proper cover will incur a cleaning fee.

6) The dog is prohibited from being on the guest beds at any time. Evidence of any dog soiling/damage on bed or bedding may incur extra cleaning or replacement fees. Additionally, the dog must also be clean (free of mud, dirt, etc.) before entering the home.

Located in Amish country, the quaint town of Hillsboro (established in 1807) is centrally located 1-1.5 hours from Dayton, Columbus & Cincinnati and minutes from Rocky Fork Lake and Serpent Mound.

Boxwood House sleeps 10 in a spacious primary bedroom (king), a cheery sunroom (queen sofa bed), two upstairs bedrooms (one queen and one room with two full beds) and a cozy library (queen sofa bed).

The Carriage House sleeps 6 in a large bunk room (one queen and three xl twins), beautiful sleeping porch (king) and a cozy attic room (twin).

Looking for adventure? Rent boats and kayaks or book fishing trips on Rocky Fork Lake. Spend the day visiting art or history museums or sampling gourmet eateries in Cincinnati or Columbus. Visit The Air Force Museum, underground railroad sites or learn more about the Wright Brothers or the poet, Paul Laurence Dunbar in Dayton. There is plenty to do no matter the time of year or the weather!

You’ll have access to 82 beautiful acres, including hiking trails through woods and pastures and across creeks, fishing in a stocked pond (catch and release only please) and sipping your morning coffee overlooking green pastures or beside a misty pond. Visit with our jersey cows, Dolly and Daisy, and take pictures with our two adorable valais blacknose sheep, Siegfried and Tristan, a unique breed from the mountains of Switzerland.

We live on the property and are available if you need anything. Feel free to reach out for your needs and to book hayrides and learning experiences such as making maple syrup from freshly tapped trees, foraging tours, gardening and bread-making classes & participating in old-fashioned farm chores. Also, we are in the country and, while the internet has good speed (usually between 30 and 150 mbps), sometimes phone connections via the internet can be spotty. We find this can be an opportunity to disconnect from technology and better connect with yourself, family and friends.

Trophy Room Adventures Bunkhouse. This is the Bunkhouse that we use for our Trophy Deer Hunts, it is the Bunkhouse only, no Access to the Main Lodge. It is Located just 5.8 from Rocky Fork Lake State Park Office (even closer to the actual lake).
It has 5 Bedrooms with 16 twin beds, a large common area with 5 Futons,2 full baths, kitchen area has hotplate Refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven (no Stove). Has Fire pit area and plenty of room for parking and or Boat trailer. Seasonable Availability. Available Feb 5th thru April 5th and May 15th thru Sept15th

A small refrigerator is available. There is drinking water available through a cooler. A gas cookstove and toaster oven available for cooking.

Electric use must be managed as only connected to battery power if sun is not shining.

A comfortable warm vacation home, right on a huge lake perfect for fishing/boating. Nice neighbors and great for hosting events. Large yard. Spacious living rooms, kitchen and bedrooms. The bedrooms include a king size bed, queen size bed and twin XL! The home includes all kitchen necessities and Tupperware. The living room is comfortable and spacious, with a large couch and a TV. The 2nd living room at the back of the house is a nice place to unwind; it has a fireplace along with a yoga center/gym (includes yoga matts, conversion table, light weights and foam rollers). The washer and dryer are available for use in the garage. All amenities included (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, dish soap and detergent, pots/pans, plates/cups and utensils, grill, microwave, air fryer, pancake maker, wash cloths and towels)
There is a local Joes Pizza/Convenient store that has a gas station, movies, souvenirs, groceries, fresh deli meat and more!

The kitchen was big enough I could use my bariatric wheelchair in just had to fold it up to get through the walkway from the second living room to the kitchen. The oven/range, air fryer and toaster all work great. Full size front load washer and dryer were awesome. I highly recommend renting this house!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
