Harmony House is a pet friendly, zen inspired retreat located on the banks of the beautiful Colorado River in Bastrop Texas. You’ll lose yourself on our shady sculptured grounds, eight different patios, each with their own theme and energy and you’ll love our four zen-hammocks. You’ll find it hard to believe you’re only 2 miles from downtown Bastrop. The property is truly Zen Central with access to the river where water activities are popular. You’ll be surrounded by the sounds of the water flowing by and hundreds of bird songs. Visit our tropical plant dome, home of our popular Koifish, who think they are the star attraction. It is the perfect Zencation spot!

We have a feeling, like so many others over the years, you'll fall in love withHarmonyHouse. This is where ZenRiverHouse getaways all began and it is still the most requested property we have.

The Space

Harmony is a cozy relaxing A-Frame garage apartment. It has 14 steps leading up to the open concept space. The space is 400 square feet main area, and a 100 square foot open loft which is just large enough to sleep two people in separate twin beds. The loft is a favorite with kids, but many adults have slept there as well. The maximum headroom in the center of the loft is about 5 ft.

1 Queen bed lower level, 2 twin beds in the open loft. A kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. There's even a large propane griddle in the shade on the upper patio just outside your door!

Smart TV allows you to access the popular streaming apps and Alexa will play your favorite tunes, give you restaurant recommendations or play games. Our High Speed Wi-Fi extends over most of the property for you modern convenience types!

It's a beautiful relaxing setting where you can truly forget about the world.

We love having well behaved pets explore the grounds with their families. We do have a $75.00 per pet per stay fee that helps keep us pet friendly. The maximum number of pets for this property is 3. Please inform us of the number of pets joining you during your stay. If you did not include and pay for the number of pets in your reservation, please message us with the number of pets and we can bill your card or you can leave it with us before you leave. Our greatest joy is having happy guest, please look over the photos and read the description and house rules in their entirety before you book. Most people come here for the meditative grounds and river setting. If you are looking for a huge sprawling home to lock yourself in for days on end, this may not be the place for you. Our sister properties, The RiverHouse or RiversEdge are better suited for you huge sprawling spaces types.
Please keep in mind that this is a nature Sanctuary and not the sterile 20th floor of a high-rise building. You may see a harmless dirt dauber flying in the house as they are plentiful here and sneak in when the doors open. Outside you may find spider webs, wasp, lizards, leaves on the outdoor furniture and hammocks. We try our best to keep them wiped down but it is nature, it changes daily, just wipe it off with one of our pet towels and enjoy the place for what it is, nature in all its splendor.

Note: The Dome is a greenhouse and as such it can get toasty in there. Mornings or late nights are best times if wanting to set inside the dome. Likewise the dome is no place to plan any type of gala, brunch or celebration. The dome has seasons and plant life may differ from the photos.

Please Note: While the house is private, the grounds may be shared with other guest from our sister property, TheRiverHouse, which is located on the same grounds. The grounds are large with plenty of spaces for everyone.

Guest have access to Harmony House, the tropical dome and the features located on the grounds... river access, hammocks, 8 patios, seating areas and chairs.

You may see us while we are tending the grounds or gardens, just say hi and we'll introduce ourselves. We do give our guest privacy but we love to entertain and chat if you are so inclined.

While a 2-night stay is possible, the vast majority of our guest’s have told us they wished they had booked an additional night. If a 3-night stay is possible we recommend booking at least 3 days as it is seldom possible to add a night at the last minute.

Walk a mile to the lake for kayaking, fishing, miniature golf, and miles of hiking. Great for families, family friends, or couples. Only 3 minutes from downtown Bastrop and 45 minutes from Austin.

The home sits on nearly an acre of pine forest in the Lost Pines Conservation Area. Everything is at your fingertips: Adirondack chairs around a fire pit for S'mores, games and activities for the kids or the young at heart, two bedrooms with luxurious king-sized beds with memory foam toppers, a game room with two sets of bunk beds (4 beds total in that room). There are three TVs: one 65" TV and two 55" TVs. All linens and towels are washed and sanitized prior to your arrival.

The kitchen is highly functional and organized with a large area for prepping food or gathering on barstools. You'll have access to two different types of coffee makers, a microwave, wine glasses, blender, grill, baking supplies, Tupperware, etc.

The dining room table expands to seat up to 8 people. The sectional couch is great for larger groups.

The back deck has two lounge chairs and a grill. The pine forest backyard features a stock tank pool (10' wide x 2' deep).

The property is less than 1 mile away from Lake Bastrop down a tree-lined road, a 5-minute drive from Bastrop State Park (with a community swimming pool during the summer), 3 miles from the Bastrop historic downtown with quaint shops and several restaurants, 30 minutes away from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Circuit of the Americas, and a quick 45 minutes away from everything Austin has to offer.

This is a quaint bungalow in the historic district of Bastrop one of the oldest towns in Texas. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Colorado river. Is about 20 minutes to Austin Airport and F1 race track, 30 minutes to downtown Austin. We have reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen and fridge. we have cable and wi-fi. we have instant hot water so you will not run out of hot water while you try out our fabulous walk in tub. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. All of our guest so far have said that the house is very conformable and homey. It has a driveway in front of the house and a front door entrance with a keypad lock that we can program in a custom four number code just for you. There is a Art Studio attached to the house. The private entrance to the Art Studio at the end of the hall is always locked.

The Space

The RiverHouse features a downstairs Master Bedroom with gorgeous double shower and huge soaking tub. 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, Living Room, Full Kitchen, Sunroom and our beautiful grounds which include our tropical plant dome.

The Downstairs Master Bedroom has a King Size bed and its own double shower and soaking tub, a guests favorite. The Upstairs MasterBedroom has a queen size bed and a futon which will sleep an additional two. Inside bedroom two is a large bathroom with a walk in shower that offers panoramic views of the property. Bedroom three has a queen size bed. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own Smart TV’s.

The Kitchen has a full size electric range with oven. A breakfast bar which overlooks the food prep area as well as a bistro table for two. Microwave, juicers, pots pans and coffee/tea makers are available as well.

The Living/Movie room is equipped with a huge TV as well as theatre seating.

The Sunroom overlooks the property and doors lead to the spacious upper deck, a favorite gathering spot. The Sunroom is a great place to watch the large variety of birds we have on the property and is a guest favorite. The sunroom features a dining table, which seats 4 as well as its own TV and ½ bath.

Lose yourself on our grounds featuring huge shade trees, 4 zen hammocks, which are positioned perfect for that afternoon nap and enjoy the sounds of nature which abound here. You’ll find it hard to believe you’re only 2 miles from downtown Bastrop.

While the house is private, grounds may be shared from time to time with guests from our sister property RiverNook, located on the same grounds. However, the grounds are large with ample patios and spaces for all.

The property is truly Zen Central with access to the river where water activities, swimming, fishing, tubing and kayaking are popular. It is the perfect Zencation spot! We do not provide kayaks or canoes however you can bring your own! We are also just minutes away from two incredible State Parks with awesome hiking and bird viewing!

The Space

The house is perfect for entertaining, with its open concept design there is room for large gatherings. Family reunions, class reunions and weddings have all been held here.

While a 2-night stay is possible, the vast majority of our guests have told us they wished they had booked an additional night. If a 3-night stay is possible on your end, we recommend booking at least 3 days as it is rarely possible to add a day at the last minute.

This farmhouse is perfectly located just a few blocks from Main Street of Bastrop. It's in the middle of everything Bastrop. Just a short walk away are: the Colorado River, restaurants, wine and bar establishments, Lost Pines Art Center, Bastrop Convention Center, Schulmans movie theater, and the World Famous Bucees. The home was custom built in 2023 and modeled as a “modern farmhouse”. This gorgeous 1200 SqFt, 2-story house is decked out with Texas farm and charm.
The space

Inside: Plenty of room for everyone whether watching TV, eating, cooking, playing games, or just hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, plates, flatware, pots/pans, and even wine glasses! There is a dining table that seats 4; just grab the extra two chairs from the pantry. We provide coffee, cocoa, and green tea for the Keurig. Also, help yourself to bottled water in the fridge.

The house sleeps 4 comfortably; maximum of 5. There is an additional charge for the 5th guest ($30/night +taxes+fees). There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a bedroom and bath upstairs and another bedroom and bathroom (w/shower) is downstairs. Both bedrooms have queen beds with super comfy pillow-top mattresses. The upstairs study does have a twin XL-bed for an additional person. Please be honest about your guest count so I can make sure the house is adequately stocked for your stay.

Outside: There is backyard patio with rockers with a view of the fenced-in yard.

Charging Station: Guests with electric cars can charge up here with our 220V 50 amp plug. Outlet is by the garage door. Bring your own adapter/charging cord.

Guest access: You ACCESS the house through the front OR back door using your UNIQUE passcode on a keyless lock. You have access to the entire house with the garage being the only exception.

Parking: Guests love the fact that you can park in the backyard in a completely enclosed and secure environment. You access the backyard through a sliding gate which you enter from a "common driveway" off a side street. You can also park in front of the house.

- "Everything was easy with this rental! The communication with the owners, the detailed check-in sheet, and their willingness to work with us on schedule changes. The rental was immaculate and VERY well stocked! The owners lacked no attention to detail. They thought of everything one could possibly need on their stay at the home and provided those things and more! A friend and I were attending a dance competition at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center with our tween daughters so we were ecstatic to find a place so close. There was a train track nearby, but it never bothered us. Everything is new and top-of-the-line! The water pressure is great! The soaker tub was big enough for a large, tall person. We also felt safe while there. Our cars were inside a gated yard/driveway area, the home had multiple locks on the door, and great lighting indoors and out. There are also dual thermostats which is nice when you are in a 2-story home. The home is well insulated as well, so the temp stays comfortable with minimal thermostat manipulation. I can't say enough good things about this home, the owners, or the process. We will most definitely be back every time we have to be anywhere near Bastrop!"

While a 2-night stay is possible, the vast majority of our guest’s have told us they wished they had booked an additional night. If a 3-night stay is possible, we recommend booking at least 3 days as it is seldom possible to add a night at the last minute.

Should you need to house more guests, you can rent our Main House, RiversEdge located on the same grounds or The RiverHouse and Harmony House which are just down the road, if they are available.

Guest have access to RiverNook, and the features located on the grounds... river access, hammocks, decks, seating areas and chairs.

You may see us while tending the grounds or gardens, just say hi and we'll introduce ourselves. We do give our guests privacy but we love to entertain and chat if you are so inclined.

Other things to note

The occupancy listed is the max occupancy this property can accommodate. If you intend to host any event, celebration or other function, you will need to disclose this to us in advance and obtain approval, including an agreement to all additional fees and terms.

We ask that you read all House Rules & Policies including the additional House Rules section prior to booking. Upon booking, you are stating that you understand them and agree to follow and abide by them.

We strongly advise trip insurance to cover your booking and will provide any documentation you may need to facilitate your claim. Our cancelation policy will be adhered to at all times during your reservation. We do not refund reservations outside of our cancelation policy. Unlike hotels who typically overbook reservations, we do not have that option. We have blocked off the property from all advertising once you booked it and typically have a hard time re-booking on short notice. If you do cancel outside of our policy, we will do our best to rebook the property and will send you any funds we collect to offset your losses. These funds may be less than you originally paid.

As mentioned above, while the house is private, grounds may be shared from time to time with guests from our sister property RiversEdge, located on the same grounds. However, the grounds are large with ample patios and spaces for all.

Your driveway parking is limited to 2 cars parked in front of the garage.

Escape your everyday worries at Forest Lane Acres, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath unique vacation rental, located within the secluded Lost Pines of Bastrop, TX. This pet-friendly space features two quaint shipping container homes, and a spacious covered patio with private forest views.

Forest Lane Acres presents an idyllic retreat for couples or small families looking for relaxation, social interaction and connecting with the outdoors. It boasts serene views of the pine forest from the covered patio deck, offering an exclusive oasis of privacy - you may detect the distant hum of neighbors, but they remain unseen. The outdoor area is equipped with WIFI, allowing you to work or play on your laptop amidst nature. Pet-lovers will appreciate the pet-friendly patio, fitted with retractable screens on all openings to ensure your furry companions remain safely within sight. Inside, the property is cleverly constructed from two shipping containers, providing a compact yet cozy living space of 540 square feet. Although the space is small, many amenities await, including a kitchenette, two full baths with showers, HD Smart TV in living and both bedrooms, and a full washer/dryer. This tiny house comfortably sleeps two on a queen bed and two on a full bed in the separate container. The 1200 square-foot outdoor covered patio is the highlight of the property. It is perfect for larger gatherings with friends and family and outdoor dining. There is a propane grill and wood smoker for cooking. There are several eating and food prep areas, as well as comfortable outdoor furniture. There are both propane and wood burning fire pits. The inclusion of ceiling and floor fans for the summer months, and fire pit tables to cozy up during the colder months, this outdoor haven is designed for year-round enjoyment - only extreme weather conditions could dampen the outdoor experience. After a day’s activities, there is an outdoor movie projector (Nebula Mars 3 Pro) and an inflatable 120-inch movie screen available. The projector is connected to the house WIFI to stream apps (Prime, Netflix) and Google TV. We provide USB connections for Apple and Android phones. (USB to lightening plug and USB to C plug) to allow for easy streaming from a phone, tablet or laptop.

PRIOR TO BOOKING: You will need to provide an ID and photograph by image at the time of booking. The name of the booking person must match the ID and profile photograph. You be sent a Rental Agreement to sign to complete the reservation. Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules listed below. Booking the property confirms that you agree to these conditions. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES
1. Must be 21 years old to rent and person booking must be present at the property during the entirety of the stay. The guest booking the property and the payment card must be the same.
2. Check-in and Check-out Times: Check in is 3 pm, Check out is 11am. Early check-in or late check-out requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability. Unauthorized late check-outs may incur additional fees.
3. Overnight occupancy is limited to 5 adults. Property can sleep up to 6 people only if there are children listed on the reservation. The maximum overnight occupancy is six guests. Visitors are allowed until 10:00 PM. Please inform us in advance if you plan to have additional guests or visitors who are not listed on the reservation.
4. If a breakage should occur during your stay, don’t be shy! Please advise us at your earliest convenience so we can rectify it ASAP.
5. Be mindful of maintaining positive relations with our neighbors. Quiet Hours after 10 pm.
6. We do NOT permit the following at any time:
• No Smoking/Vaping inside the property. There is a $500 fine for smoking or the presence of smoke odor inside the containers.
• No Fireworks Permitted
• No Parties
• No ATV/UTV riding on property - trailer to approved trails
7. Pets welcomed with no fee if disclosed prior to check-in. You are 100% liable for any damage caused by a pet or a service animal.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
1. SECURITY CAMERAS: Security on our properties is provided via outdoor security cameras. There are security cameras on the building perimeter that are motion activated and do record. There are no inside cameras.
2. LOCK AND KEY: Access to both containers is through patio doors. There is a lock-box located next to each patio door that contains a key to the unit. Lock box code will be provided to you the morning of your check-in date. You are required to lock property when you are not present.
3. Storage Units at the rear of the property are off limits to guests.
✔️ You will be required to sign an off platform RENTAL AGREEMENT and required to upload your driver’s license to complete a reservation. Failure to sign the Rental Agreement will result in a cancellation of your stay.

- "Oh my goodness we had the BEST time at Camp Swift! We are so happy to have stumbled on this property when looking for a place close to the Renaissance Festival. The owners were so nice and welcoming, by the time we got to there we felt like we were going to stay at a family member’s home. From check in to check out, everything about Camp Swift was easy, relaxing and FUN. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed. We had a blast on the disc golf course, grilling outside, cooking inside. The beds are comfy, the shower hot. The cowboy pool was warmed up on our arrival and a perfect retreat on a cool evening. Welcome to our new guest house with its own private entrance. There is a private lighted parking space for guests use only. Make yourself at home with a new adjustable queen bed with remote, a bathroom, kitchenette, TV and a small dining table. There is a pullout twin bed in the loveseat. If you prefer to dine outside; a table and chairs are available in our outdoor courtyard area. We have a new LG window unit AC/Heater with remote; to keep you very comfortable in any season.

Our property is in the country surrounded by beautiful pine trees and only 12 miles from historic downtown. We are a 4 mile drive to the north shore of Lake Bastrop which has picnic areas, walking trails, fishing access and a boat ramp. For your convenience, there is a Dollar General store five minutes driving distance from the guest house.

The guest house has Wi-Fi and a wall mounted TV for streaming your favorite shows. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, utensils, cups, pans, a coffee pot, a cooktop, a full size refrigerator with ice maker, a microwave and a toaster oven. The bathroom includes a vanity sink, toilet, shower stall and a separate heater for chilly mornings. Extra towels, linens, blankets and toiletries are available on the bathroom shelves.

This is a very quiet, secluded area; true country living. Nothing but 50 year old pine trees and stars. Great for a short term get-away or for a temporary residence. Weekly or Monthly discounted rates upon availability.

Beautiful modern home on one acre of land. Just out of Bastrop City limits in Tahitian Village. Partially wooded back yard with a fenced in area for the safety of your small pets and children. You can enjoy the abundant Texas wild life from the screened in porch or from the patio. Please be aware there can be occasional creepy crawlers such as snakes, coyotes, owls, hawks, scorpions and spiders. Guest will have access to entire home excluding the garage. 2-3 cars can park in drive way.

This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Master bedroom has a queen size bed. Guest bedroom has a full size bed. The third room is a designated office area with plenty of room for additional sleeping. There is a roll out twin cot in closet or you are welcome to bring your own air mattress. The space is large enough to accommodate a queen size air mattress. There are bed linens for the twin cot. Please bring your own linens for your air mattress.

THE SPACE
Welcome to our charming, newly built modern cabin hidden among preserved Lost Pines forestland in Red Rock, Texas. You have private access to all 15 acres of this pristine nature. We recommend taking a deep breath as soon as you arrive.

The cozy interior provides all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The cabin is 1500 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and both guest rooms have queen beds. There are 6 roll-away beds (250 lbs weight limit), allowing for a total of 12 guests. High-speed wifi and 65" smart TV. Acoustic guitar, telescope, record player with a few vintage vinyls, books and board games for extra smiles.

You'll also find a large fire pit with firewood and a S'mores Starter Kit welcome gift. On the deck you’ll find a propane grill and propane fire table.

We’re all about wildlife. Our deer feeder is visible from the deck and gets daily visits from deer, birds, raccoons, and other woodland creatures.

- The upper deck includes a dining table and chairs for 8 people and two loungers, and the lower deck has rocking chairs, a propane fire pit table, and a propane gill.
- The wood burning fire pit includes firewood, Adirondack chairs, benches, side tables, and string lights.
- Enjoy walking the trails around the property and along Sandy Creek. You might even find some secret picnic spots along the way. Carve your initials into the rock wall at the front of the property. Property boundaries are indicated by fencing, the creek bed, and orange markers.
- Horses and bikes are welcome but please do not use motorized off-road vehicles on the trails.
- Several great spots for tent camping.

RV CONNECTION: We have a 50 amp RV electric service connection and a city water hook-up for your travel trailer.

OTHER STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- You’ll have to drive on a bumpy dirt road for about 1.5 miles to get to the property. Your car may get dusty. Consider it part of the country experience.
- We are in the country and you may hear country noises, like coyotes, woodpeckers, crickets, cicadas, trains in the far distance, and the occasional distant gunfire (especially during hunting season). This is Texas after all. Please do not shoot any firearms on the property.
- Cell phone service is spotty. If you have Verizon you are out of luck, but AT&T works fine. We do have high-speed internet and wifi. Keep this in mind while you’re hiking.
- While hiking, be mindful of barbed wire fencing, trip hazards, and falling branches.
- There are several exterior security cameras that monitor the outside of the cabin. They help keep the cabin safe when no one is there. These cannot see inside the cabin.
- We are on septic. Please do not flush any products other than toilet paper. Not even products that say they are "flushable" like wipes. Thanks!

The outside is calling, but first, let's talk about the inside. This 3929 square foot, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is filled with classic wood floors, Saltillo tiles, limestone fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling stone, and vaulted ceilings with splashes of modern art and amenities throughout. Each individual bedroom suite has been styled with comfort in mind and in total, can sleep up to 12 guests.

Whether you want to whip something up, or warm something up, the kitchen has got you covered. 2 ovens, 2 sinks, and a dedicated coffee area make this fully-loaded kitchen a chef's dream! The walk-in pantry and attached laundry room includes yet another sink and more storage for all your grubbing and scrubbing needs.

This living room is not messing around. Located on the main entry level, you might not even notice the 75” wall-mounted TV, with the incredible views out of the expansive glass windows. Looking out over the covered deck, you'll see the water beckoning you, but you'll need to take-in the surround sound speakers, enormous decorative fireplace wall, and built-in bookcases first. Adjacent to the living room, is a large dining table that seats 8, with bar stools for overflow (or introverts) at the bar.

The pond is directly off the back porch of the house where you can enjoy fishing and still talk to others sitting on the porch enjoying their favorite beverage.
You will see deer and plenty of different birds and ducks all from the back porch of the house which is an expansive wrap around porch across the back.
Game room is upstairs to allow kids to have their own space to enjoy.
This cabin is spacious and allows for smaller gatherings and parties for the day.

Tucked back in a pine tree filled neighborhood, this cottage-like home is perfect for gathering friends or family, with space for children and dogs to play. 4.5 miles to downtown Bastrop amenities and activities for small-town Texas adventures, 28 miles to COTA for races and concerts, or 34 miles into Austin for all the city-life your heart desires. The backyard is fully fenced, has a fire pit for cool nights, and a table with chairs on the covered porch for meals, games, or visiting. One of my personal favorite spots is to sit in a rocker on the front porch with my morning coffee and watch all the wildlife (deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and assorted birds) come and go. Inside, all the rooms are large and spacious! The oversized windows allow the natural light in from every direction, and all have black-out blinds for privacy and dark sleep environments. Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a converted sunroom office space (with twin daybed), open-concept main living area and kitchen, laundry (with full-sized washer and drier).
Absolutely no smoking! No exceptions.

Hill Top House boasts amazing views in several directions overlooking the forested pines of Bastrop Texas. You have the privacy of being on the Hill Top on 1.2 acres with private heated pool/hot tub and massive game room. The multi level estate has 5100 square feet of space under three roofs. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths with several balconies overlooking views that have to be experienced.
This is a multi level estate built into the side of a hill so there are lots of great views and lots and lots of steps!

When you walk up the main walk you get a first view from the front porch towards Bastrop State Park two miles away. Entering the foyer you enter a clasic country cabin feel with all cedar floors in the living room and solid cedar pillars and trim. A 75 inch TV with Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Hulu.. The dining room to your right seats 12 around the main table with space for 4 more at side tables and 7 more around the massive marble kitchen island. This will give you room to sit 23 people in two open rooms. The kichen overlooks both the dining room and living room and you can enjoy the 75 inch Tv as well as the views off the back porch or watch the pool actiivities. The kitchen is a perfect place for all activities on this side of the estate. In the kitchen you will find a large Double Convection Oven, four berner profesional gas range along with an attached griddle. We have the other standard amenities like the Ninja blender for mixed drinks, large 1.6 cubic foot microwave, toaster oven, and 4 slot toaster. Our coffee station is positioned on the South side of the kitchen over looking the views of the back porch so you can gaze into the tree tops while preparing your morning, afternoon, or evening brew. We have both a Keurig and a standard coffee pot to fit the needs of one cup or a large group.(some starter coffee is provided). If you go out the side door of the kichen you enter the Pool area. A large pool with attached hot tub fountaining into the deep area (deep part of the pool is 6'2".) There is lots of seating around the pool area including 4 wonderful lounge chairs from sunbathing. Behind the Pool is the Casita, our external bedroom (no bathroom attached to this structure) This is a nice priveate space that will have a 43 inch 4k tv with same cable package as the the main house. This has a Queen room and pull out queen size couch. This space could sleep four. A little around the end of the pool is the out door dining area with seating around the table for six a ceiling fan and a 5 burner bbq pit with side burner. Additional built ing seaginn the sides for sitting around and visiting. We also have wonderful mood lighting for those evening time meals that makes a beautiful atmosphere. This space also has great views the the East!

If you follow the wrap around port the the south west corner of the house you will come out on a lovely back porch that allows you to see to the south and east for over eight miles looking over the towering 70 foot pines of Bastrop and off into green meadows and hills beyond. Truly scenic.. Lots of good times on this porch.
Back through the doors takes you into the kitchen or living room as your prefer the upstairs queen room with four hands reclaimed wood bed is to the left, the first bath and walk in shower is strait ahead and the master is just to the right. The master suite has a massive sleigh king bed and a full size pull out couch. Around the corner is a massive bathroom that has to be experienced. There is a private attached balcony with built in seating and a two person love seat out door couch. From this space the views are best of all and not to be missed!

Back in the living room before you get to the front door there is a wooden door that leads to the downstairs part of the multi level house. You can follow the signs to the game room from this point. The stairs are a little steep here and there is a low point in the ceiling so watch your head. You will find a full washer and dryer at the end of the hall. A traditional full bath and large room with two wood oak queen beds.

Follow the arrows out the back door to a private court yard over the stepping stones and into the game room. Our Game House 900 square feet of 'Fun'! Two Skee Ball Tables, Industrial sized Air Hockey, 12 foot shuffle board, Ping pong table,2 linked Crusin exotica racing games. A four player arcade with 2500 games and fully restored 1969 brunswik pool table. Oh yes we also have a 55 inch UHD tv with all the cable package avalable so you can play games while you watch the big game. If you go out the front door you will be back at the drive way. This drive way is quite large and parks quite a few vehicles. At any given time we have had eight or more parked in this space.

We try to do everything we can with excellence the house was built in 1994 and the games are used so we try to treat everything with care and respect this includes our neighbors who have been very good to us. When you come and enjoy this amazing get away please keep this in mind.

This house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Bastrop as the J.W. Pledger House. It was build around 1910, if not earlier. It has the original wood floors and very high ceilings. Lots of space and a great patio. The upstairs requires going up some steep stairs, so not a great fit if stairs are a challenge for you.

Come stay at our super cute tiny house professional built, Like many tiny homes, it has a lofted Queen bed accessed spiral steps, From the loft platform you'll have great views of the nearby landscape of Bastrop state park. A charming seating area is underneath the loft, and the wall table also conveniently folds out to offer another sitting area. There's a sizable well stocked kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, eating nook, as well as a full bathroom with a standing shower.

Tiny house is near Bastrop State Park, 5 minute drive, also downtown Bastrop is about a 5 minute drive.

If you're looking for a convenient place to stay or if you want to have the whole tiny house experience, we'll think you will enjoy our tiny house.

We strive to keep the Tiny house as allergy free as possible so that future guests are confident they'll be comfortable when here. We prohibit smoking, e-cigarettes, incense, burning of candles, or anything else that will give the place a strong scent that might impact a future guest. We even strive to rent to non-smokers only, that way the particulates that cling to clothing can't be transferred to the couch, pillows, drapes, etc., and possibly affect future guests.

For all of you who want to visit ATX, are going to ACL, Formula1, conferences, want to get away from the city, perhaps you are a combination of all of the above...come and submerge yourself in the "Home of the Lost Pines" - Bastrop is the place to be.

Our guest house is cozy, clean and functional. All great attributes when it comes to feeling "at home" while you are exploring a new place. Our kitchen is fully functional for basic meal prepping. If you need anything in particular for meal prepping (blender?), let us know. We can swing by and drop it off. We love when our guests feel inclined to cook a nice meal at Casa Azul!

Coffee lovers, we have you covered. There is ground coffee and a french press ready for the perfect cup of coffee. We also have a variety of teas. Help yourself to whatever is in the fridge. We usually have it stocked with basic condiments in case you may need them.

The guest house space is 100% yours.
It is possible that you may find us hanging out in the backyard at times, either grilling or just enjoying the afternoon. You are more than welcome to join us. If you prefer more privacy, we are also cool with that.

We have 2 friendly dogs and since the backyard is open and shared, it is likely you will encounter them as you come and go.

Although our check-in time is after 3pm, we are more than happy to accommodate guests needing to check in earlier. Let us know if you need an earlier check-in and we will try to work it out, when possible.

Please make sure you take a look at the check-in information prior to your arrival so you are aware of how to get to Casa Azul, located behind the main house. The guide is complete with step by step instructions & photos and is available to you automatically through Airbnb. We can also send it over prior to your arrival as a friendly reminder. If you have any issues or concerns, we are always reachable and happy to help.

Other things to note
Although we have a 2 person limit, we are more than happy to accommodate babies/kids. We can set up a portable crib and/or a small mattress. We have kids too and would like to make sure we make families feel welcome!

Escape to the lost pines in this cozy cedar cabin, just big enough for two. The Juniper Nest is a tiny cabin perfect for relaxing and bird-watching. Very private. Situated on 6 acres with incredible 360 degree views from atop of the hill. This land was in the Bastrop wildfires of 2011 and it's amazing to see how vibrant the land is. Sit out on the back patio and gaze at the pines or listen to the owls at night.

The pines are an incredibly peaceful place to be. And the rocks there are beautiful too. It's perfect for a getaway, but there's not a lot of storage.

You'll have access to the entire cabin. We do ask that you stay on our property, which isn't very well-marked, so please stay on the old driveway that takes you up to the lookout. To the left of the cabin is the old driveway. Follow that up to the top of the hill where our home used to stand. There are incredible views. Our property ends after the storage container.

About 45 minutes -an hour to Austin, depending on traffic. Both Bastrop and Smithville have wonderful restaurants and antique shops to explore too.
