Very beautiful cabin located in the Laurel Mountains just down the road from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley ski resorts. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at an exceptionally reasonable rate.

The home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a full bed. and a single bed. The second is a loft that has 3 twin beds. This bedroom overlooks the great room accessible by a pull down ladder.

The great room is very large with cathedral ceilings and plenty of space for the guests to spread out. There are many skylights and windows to let in the natural light and the beautiful wooded scenery. There is a stone fireplace in the great room and a wood burning stove. All of the firewood is included. There is a full kitchen including all major appliances, cooking utensils, and a dining table.

There are one and a half bathrooms. The master bath has a shower with unlimited hot water. The second is a powder room.

The Home is located within walking distance to Koosier lake, which has a swimming area and fishing area. Both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs resorts are a very short drive away.

The cozy sunroom is a combination living room and dining area that is the favorite place to hang. Nine windows give you a birds eye view to the woods, mountains, fields and meadows. The gas fired ‘wood’ stove heats up at the flip of a switch and keeps it toasty and cozy. In the kitchen the cast iron wood stove is available to enjoy a real woodburning fire.

Industrial style staircase leads from the upper level to the lower level entrance, complete with flowering garden on each side. Where this cool welded hunk of metal staircase came from, we don't know, but we love it and it is a favorite spot to sit.

The surrounding area is filled with many activities and areas to explore when Snow season is here!

Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, or sitting in the lodge and enjoying the view at the major snow attractions in the area.

Area ski and snow resorts include Seven Springs, Laurel Mountain, and Hidden Valley. All are easily accessible and offer many family activities for enjoying the beautiful seasons.

The town of Ligonier is 3 easy miles away with its many restaurants and charming shops. The Diamond is the gazebo and small park at the center of town that is beautifully decorated for the holiday and winter as well as year round.

Enjoy hiking and relaxing at the beautiful Linn Run sate park, only 15 minutes away.

Please note that the cabin front is very close to a low traffic Wilpen road. We have had many guests with small children stay as well as pets and this hasn't been an issue but wanted to point it out clearly.

Please also note that the cabin is built into a hillside so there are steps to navigate. If you or anyone in your party has climbing or navigating stairs as an issue, please check pictures before you book. Bedrooms are on upper level with stairs to the lower level kitchen, sunroom, bathroom.

Pets are welcome- you will be charged a $50.00 fee when booking. We ask that you keep pets contained in a crate (condo:) if left unattended. Also, we provide extra sheets for furniture and bed covering if your pet is on these pieces. Please clean up and keep pet hair to minimum. You will be charged for additional cleaning if necessary. The cabin was exactly as described, with some renovations going on that the hosts made sure to warn us about, so no surprises there. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and the lower level bathroom looks recently done, with another bathroom on the upper floor in the works. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we felt welcome, and gave us tips on things to try in the region. If you're staying over the weekend and want to try Wyldfire Bread, be sure to preorder on Thursday afternoon; when I checked their website Friday morning, everything was already sold out. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hill the cabin is built on is pretty steep. There are stairs from the lower parking area all the way to the porch, with a landing at the lower level. I'd recommend taking luggage and such in through the front door, it leads straight to the bedrooms and you don't have to haul everything up the hill. This was a great stay for us!"

Both the state park and state forest are recognized for there many miles of hiking, biking and snowmobiling trails as well as many scenic over look areas such as bears rock. Also popular hunting and fishing destinations with great native trout, white tail deer and black bear populations. there is also a small play ground only a 1/4 mile away thats excellent for kids of all ages! This cozy cabin also has a large outdoor deck, firepit and grill.

Welcome to Sycamore! Our nicely refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The streamside location (that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space lets you stretch out and release a little before you go to town! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the MAIN/BACK/REAR entrance. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. There is plenty of space to roam, and I am working on creating a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles! Feel free to clear up any twigs on the grounds for kindling. There is also lockable storage in the shed behind the garage, bring your own lock! You might find a bike in there for your enjoyment as well!

The kitchen has a newly installed dishwasher and is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and dishes, etc. The exterior kitchen wall is lined with windows bringing in sunlight and highlighting nature and the outdoors. The Cottage has central air conditioning and heating. An office area is also included with high-speed Wi-Fi, table, and a printer. There is a couch that opens to a double sleeper also in the bedroom/office area that is perfect for 2 guests. A fifth guest can sleep on a twin sleeper bed located in the living room. Our cottage will now comfortably accomodate 5 guests. A washer and dryer are provided in the basement. It's wonderful to relax on the large deck with amazing views of the beautiful creek below. There is access to the Loyalhanna Creek down the hill, but we don't recommend walking down the hill. It is pretty sloped and can be easy for our guests to slip and fall. Walking down hill at your own risk. There is an easy access to the creek straight across from our cottage. It is a short walk or drive across the bridge to an entry area that is only 3 feet elevation to navigate. There is also spots over there to park your car.
