Quiet A-Frame Cabin set off a private lake. Located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. The cabin has a nicely updated kitchen with a dining table for 6. There is 1 full bathroom on the first floor. Also 1 bedroom on the first floor with a twin trundle bed. The upstairs loft has a Queen sized bed and AC. The living room has 2 pullout sofas that can sleep 4. It has AC, a ceiling fan, and a gas fireplace. There is StarlinkWiFi with a smart TV and Netflix. There’s also plenty of card and board games to play inside the coffee table. The front porch is Amazing with plenty of seating and a gas grill for cookouts. At the back of the cabin there's a beautiful screened porch to enjoy. The lake is a two minute walk to the dock for a swim or a cruise in the kayaks. There are 2 kayaks in the shed for anyone who would like to use them. All we ask is that they are returned after use. Feel free to bring your fishing poles. Also there are many different trails for biking and hiking. We are located approximately 15 minutes from town, so you’ll have to plan accordingly. The cottage is 35 minutes from Knobels amusement park. Sugarloaf golf course is just 5 minutes away. If you’re looking for a bite to eat, Sally Pursell’s is less than 10 minutes away. There a family restaurant with a bar side and take out.

Our toddler made herself at home and found the books, coloring books, and toy dragon in the living room. She also quickly found the fishing game which led to many laughs as we all tried to catch the little fishies going around. After our toddler was in bed, we were able to take showers and the personal touches of shampoo and body wash Dave’s the day when I realized I had forgotten my shower bag. Our host, Amber, thought of everything, even hooks for wash clothes and hooks on the back of the door for hanging things up. We were able to relax on the couch and watch some tv before jumping into bed. The bed was very comfortable and smelled clean and refreshing. The next morning we were able to get breakfast together and on dishes using the conveniently labeled drawers and cabinets (so helpful!). When I messaged quickly about check out procedure, our hostess got back to us quickly and efficiently. It was such a nice stay and so convenient to get to from Knoebels. Danville is a small but immensely beautiful place to live and visit. We have been living here for 6 years, so we have a lot of good recommendations.

The Brick and Ivy Cottage is deep in the wooded heart of Roaring Creek Valley. It is surrounded by nature while the stream runs through the front yard. There is an outside fire pit for gathering your group together.

The property is located on the mountainside, so it has a steep driveway that is best approached from the top of the hill. The traffic can be fast moving when you enter and exit.

There are two sets of stairs that are required to go from the parking area to the door to the house.

The space
Escape to this family-friendly countryside retreat nestled in the heart of Catawissa, Pennsylvania. Our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is perfect for families, offering a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

For our youngest guests, we provide a stroller, pack and play, and high chair, so you can travel light and still have all the essentials you need for your little ones.

Each bedroom features blackout curtains for a peaceful night's sleep, while the sunken living room adds a touch of elegance with just 1 step. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed for ultimate comfort.

The home is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for an additional fee. They'll love exploring the tree-lined yard, and you'll appreciate the convenience of the washer and dryer to keep their belongings clean.

After a day of adventure, unwind in the privacy of your own backyard oasis. Take a refreshing dip in the large inground pool, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking mountain views. Fire up the grill for a barbecue or challenge your friends and family to lawn games like cornhole and ladder ball. Pool floats and loungers are also provided for your enjoyment.

For guests traveling with additional vehicles or an RV, Parking for off road vehicles and trailers is available for a fee.

Located just minutes away from the excitement of Knoebels Amusement Park, Numidia Dragway, Bloomsburg University, and the annual Bloomsburg Fair, this home is the perfect base for exploring all the attractions the area has to offer.

Please note that the pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with extensions pending weather conditions. Book your family's stay now and create cherished memories together!

Your pets are welcome to join you here. We ask that any pets are mentioned in the booking, and owners clean up after their pets and dispose of any waste properly. Please be aware there is a fee plus associated taxes and fees for their stay.

Other things to note
The shed contains pool supplies as well as pool floats and noodles. Please return all items removed from the shed after use.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind on the entire premises. There will be a $500+ fee applied if it is determined that there was smoking inside the property.

You’ll receive a starter pack of basic amenities (shampoo, hand soap, coffee, laundry pod, etc).

The seasonal outdoor pool is not heated however it does use a solar cover and will be open Memorial Day- Labor Day with extensions weather permitting from early May-early October.

Maximum of 3 cars to be parked on the property without prior approval.

This is a country location with many farm and fields surrounding so you will notice wildlife and insects.

The only pets we accept are dogs.

Relax at our Private, riverside home that sleeps up to 16 people! Has an awesome view of the Susquehanna river and is the perfect place to get away. Sitting on top of a mountain with a sprawling 8 acre yard, abundant wildlife, in ground pool, hot tub, a pool house with a wet bar, pool table, foosball and darts, you will not run out of things to do! We also have pickle ball net and basketball on the driveway!We are only 7 miles from Knoebels Amusement Park!Only 5 miles from Bloomsburg Fair

The space
We welcome you to our beautiful, Private home! Upon entering the main door you will go upstairs to the main floor.
Cook in the chefs kitchen that boasts 2 cook stoves, one gas and one electric, a 3 rack dishwasher, large fridge, plenty of counter and cabinet space, complete with 6 barstools.
Enjoy the view at our table that seats 8.(we have 4 additional chairs in a closet if needed)

Relax on the reclining sofas while streaming your favorite show on our 90 inch smart tv! Step outside from the living room onto the deck and enjoy the view of the mountains and watch the eagles soar overhead!

Also on the main floor are the laundry room, full bathroom, a queen bedroom with a smart tv, and the master bedroom suite.

The master is completed with a king bed, smart tv, french doors to the deck, his and her closets,(high chair and pack and play included), an enclosed office and a bathroom.
The bathroom boasts an exotic rain bath jacuzzi tub, complete with steam, lights and Bluetooth speakers.

The basement (ground level) has 3 bedrooms, one full bathroom and a laundry room with a tub/shower combo.
There’s also a garage with a second fridge.
One of the 3 bedrooms we call “Buffalo Inn,” and it’s a private bedroom set apart from the other rooms, complete with a coffee bar and microwave, and sliding doors going out to the pool area.

Relax by the pool (OPEN SEASONALLY~MAY THROUGH SEPTEMBER) while enjoying the view, or dine at the outdoor bar area while watching tv. (There’s also a mini fridge here and outdoor speakers)
The pool is fully fenced for your safety!
Soak in the hot tub while enjoying a perfect view of the sunset over the river.

In the pool house we have a full bathroom, 2 pullout sofa beds, a tv, pool table, foosball, darts, and a wet bar with a tv and a dishwasher.

Outside we have a basket ball net and pickleball set for your use! An 8 acre yard for the kids to run around in.
