The Lake House is updated and equipped with everything you will need for your getaway - 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms with shower/tub combos and one half bath.

Enjoy cooking meals in the full kitchen with everything you will need to prepare and share meals at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything from plates and glasses to cookware, serving dishes, utensils, toaster, blender. Nothing has been overlooked!

The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker that will make individual cups of coffee or up to a 12 cup pot of coffee for a crowd! We include a starter supply of K-cups, sugar packets and creamers as well as coffee filters for making a pot of coffee. You will need to supply ground coffee and any additional coffee/sugar/creamer you will need beyond what is provided.

Our bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths as well as a starter supply of toilet paper - 2 rolls per bathroom.

The living room has a 46 inch Smart TV - bring your own password to login to your Netflix, Prime, Hulu accounts. There is no cable TV. You will need to login into your personal streaming accounts.

The kids will LOVE the retro arcade! And the adults will be transported back in time while playing the games. The arcade has Terminator II, Mars Attacks Pinball, Ms. Pacman cocktail game table, and Wheel of Fortune for endless fun in the evenings or rainy days.

Take the kayaks out on the lake (April - October) or bring your pole and go fishing!

Grill outside on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoy dinner under the stars on the picnic table. Finish the day with a fire in the Fire pit or a soak in the Hot Tub. It doesn't get any better!

There are two security cameras located on the property for your security and mine. The first camera is located on the front corner of the home facing the driveway and the second camera is located on the beam above the porch facing the fire pit and the dock. Whether it is visiting one of the Chesapeake Bay beaches only a 3 minute drive from the home, or watching for wildlife in our yard (it is common to see deer, rabbits, birds, etc), life in Calvert County will slow you down and help you take a much needed break from the daily grind. And you don't even have to cross the Bay Bridge!

So, why "waffle house"? You'll receive a welcome basket upon arrival which includes goodies like Old Bay chips, bottled water, and you guessed it....waffle mix! We have a Belgian waffle maker for your use during your stay located next to the refrigerator.

Ready for activities? Other than hunting for fossils and sharks' teeth at our beaches, we have many amenities at the house including a volleyball/badminton net, tree swing, hammocks, horseshoes, fire pit, basketball hoop, outdoor and indoor toys, books + board games, an air hockey and mini pool table, and much more. Beach gear (toys, umbrella, sifters, and more) and child sized fishing poles are available for you to borrow on your outings.

Our community boasts 2 private sandy beaches for swimming and beach fun, Lake Lariat for fishing & boating, hiking trails, playgrounds, and campgrounds.

There may be poison ivy, bugs, snakes, etc... you're out in the wilderness after all! Enjoy, but take care.**

**SUMMER STAYS** Full week rentals only (Check in and out on Saturdays very week). Mid June through Mid August.

I am an experienced host and do my best to be accommodating to anything my guests need, but know that I and my house are imperfect and I do not have the resources of a large hotel chain. Our home is located in a water access community. You will have access to the community beaches.

The neighborhood is laid back and friendly. You can bring your fishing pole and walk down the street (2 minute walk) to the river and fish off the rocks!

Other Things to Note:
Please understand that we are sharing our lake cabin as a relaxing getaway with family and friends and fun in nature and on the water. This space is not meant for parties. We require that quiet hours are observed after 10pm out of respect for our neighbors and in keeping with the peaceful nature of our community.

For additional peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as we unfortunately cannot act as insurance in the case of unforeseen circumstances. We do uphold our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding!

Property has a deep water dock with available boat docking, boat lift and jet ski lift. Inflatables and Paddleboard are available as well as a floating mat for enjoying the water. Crab pots are available for crabbing or fishing form the end of the dock. Waterfront area in front of the dock is in a no-wake zone for comfort and safety to swim and relax.

Enjoy easy access to Solomon's island for plenty of restaurants, fishing pier, boat rentals, and fishing charters. Also, access to national parks like Calver Cliffs or a very quiet neighborhood to walk and bike.

Boat ramp is also available about 7 houses down (a little further by car). Plenty of room to park a boat trailer on the property.
