We were so thrilled with our location and all of the ammenities of our home for 3 nights. It is PERFECT. Everything is there for you, I mean everything, even shampoo. All spots of interest are in walking distance. We went to MacGregors, Tide Water, Havre de Grace Promenade, Bombays Ice Cream and Candy, Coakleys, the Cajun Bar across the street, West Street Seafood, and saw Eaglemania at the Starre Center. Theresa, the owner of West Street, gave me a keepsake shell ornamanet. It was so special. I had clams and chorizo and it was AMAZING. It was a trip that I will never forget. Thank you for sharing your home with us for my 60th birthday."

My husband and I stumbled upon this cozy home at the mouth of the Susquehanna River and the top of the Chesapeake Bay in historic Havre de Grace. Only a few miles to I-95 for easy access to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C. or New York City. The Great Wolfs Lodge and Perryville Hollywood Casino are 10 minutes away. This is a small single family two- story home built in 1880. A dog door opening leads to a fenced in back yard. (There is a non- refundable $200 Pet fee). The large porch is one step into the home. A combo lock box is between the storm door for easy entrance. Code will be supplied a few days before stay. Parking is free, but parking can sometimes be difficult, as there are so many visitors to the town. Handicapped parking is available across the street.
The Queen size bedroom and dressing room are on the second floor. The home was built in 1880 so these stairs are narrow. As you walk in the front door, a small couch/bed to the right side has a window air conditioner. The main room has a baby grand piano which you are welcome to play. We have internet and wifi with a TV and an electric fireplace for chilly nights . The dining area and kitchen have microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. There is a door leading to the large fenced in back yard with a large pet door. We welcome pets, there is a $200 Non- refundable pet fee( with references). Yes, the cats and dogs in the photos are real to let you know if you have allergies, this is not the place for you. Our pets are with us at our other home. The bath area is a newer shower with seat and a washing machine is available for use. Clothes can be air dried either on the line outside or the drying rack upstairs. There is a cot available for one extra guest. The upstairs bedroom has a window AC unit and a Queen size mattress. The closet and all dressers, nightstand drawers available to the guests in both bedrooms. Coffee, linens, towels, etc are supplied.
Every weekend there seems to be a music, art or cultural festival. I have another home and are not able to take advantage of all the great events and happenings. Walk to restaurants, theater, the Opera House, Library, Post Office, Museums and the beautiful water. Go sailing, Kayaking, Paint, Hike the Lafayette Trail or enjoy Bombay's treats. Hollywood Casino and The Great Wolf Lodge is only a few miles away. Please note that the police department is only 1 1/2 blocks away and there are 5 fire departments in this town. Great for safety concerns, but sometimes the siren will go off. Also the train to DC runs right thru Havre die Grace. You will hear its whistle and horn. I try to accommodate everyone but this home is not suitable for more than 3 people with one car. Please let me know if you have any special requests and I will do my best.

Delightful fully equipped house boat docked at Log Pond Marina in the quaint bay town of Havre de Grace Maryland.. The marins is located at the end of Girard Street. You will find many shops and restaurants and are not far from Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia. (commuter train runs through town). Boat is fully equipped with HVAC, dishwasher, microwave, big screen TV and compact washer/dryer combination. The master bedroom has a private bath with shower and a second bath to be shared.. The upper deck is a party deck with patio furniture and bar. Linens and towels are provided but guest MUST wash and dry prior to departure. Or bring your own. (1-queen, & 3 full size and a pull out sofa bed) The houseboat laundry equipment is small and requires 3 hours to complete but the dock washroom has regular coin operated machines. Additional fees apply if laundry is left incomplete. The houseboat may not leave the dock. You are able to arrange boat tours and rent boats by contacting the marina. You may moor your boat next to houseboat for $2.50 per foot size of boat
additional per night paid to the marina. Trailers can be parked in parking lot of the marina but must be move every 48 hours to a new parking space in same lot to avoid ticketing. The sofa is also a pull out bed. This is a marina community and I expect vacationers to be respectful of the community with music and parties after 10 pm. The Queen Suite has it's own entrance/exit off of the Manor. Enter into your Living room w/sofa/smart TV/pub table/mini fridge/freezer/microwave/Keurig coffee pot. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend. If you plan to eat a lot then a week. Through your Living room, into a short hallway to your right is a spacious beautiful full bathroom, with Jack and Jill doors, one to the hall and the other directly to your bedroom. The Queen bedroom again, connects to your private bathroom, and is airy and opened yet comfy all at the same time. All 3 rooms and balcony/entrance are designated to you and you alone. Relax and Enjoy your stay. Need more room? Rather have a full Kitchen? Check out or private cottage also listed on VRBO. Some outside common areas could be shared with owners and guest of the cottage. Both rentals are in the center of town with firehouse, trains and the main street, we could have higher than normal noise levels. There are outdoor security cameras in the property.

Unfortunately, our weather did not cooperate and we were unable to walk through town, but it is an adorable setting for a relaxing weekend for us. Booking was easy and all of our communication with the owner was very pleasant- Gwendolyn was very attentive and quick to respond. One of the things that we appreciated was the packet of information that was provided regarding check in and check out, places to eat and on local attractions. Our single level home features 2 bedrooms with queen beds. We do have a pack-n-play available for young children, as well as a portable high chair if needed. There is a large front porch for enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, as well as a comfortable living room to relax after a long day of kayaking or hiking at the Susquehanna State Park. House features a full kitchen with all the modern appliances as well as basic spices and cooking essentials. Feel free to use our full size washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. Wireless internet is included and all TV's are set up with Amazon fire sticks and streaming services. Step outside the kitchen and enjoy the outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill...both stocked for your visit. Walk a few blocks and enjoy a coffee at the Promenade Grille while you stroll along the water to the historic lighthouse. Enjoy a game of pickle ball on the newly constructed courts at Tidings Memorial Park, and finish your day with a meal at one of the many fabulous restaurants, wine bars, or enjoy a treat from Bomboys Candy and Ice Cream Shop.

The place is located in Conowingo/Port Deposit. It is 5 mins from the Conowingo Dam and the upper Susquehanna River which is famous for fishing, bird watching, and water activities. Visit the historic Port Deposit and Havre de Grace where excellent restaurants, shops, and beautiful views. The Great Wolf Lodge and Hollywood Casino are only 4 miles away. The area is also great for animal lovers, the Plumpton Zoo is 10 mins away and 20 mi. Fair Hill Equestrian center . Don't forget to visit the Amish farmer's market for fresh local produce.
The place is 45 mins from Baltimore, 20 mins DE, and 7 mins to PA line.
- "This was one of our best VRBO experiences to date. The house was so clean, the owners thought of everything to make the stay like you were at home. We loved that it was only two miles to the town of Port Deposit which was a really fun town with lots of restaurants and bars on the river. There were not many accomadation options in this part of Maryland and we picked the best one for sure!!!!!" - "You could immediately tell the hosts put a lot of thought into their space when it was created. Everything seamlessly flows together stylistically. The full kitchen has everything you need. Literally. There were plenty of extra bedding and linen and there were the little things that always make a guest smile: all toiletries if you forgot, full coffee and tea bar, and snacks. This is a weird detail, but I actually liked that the toilet and the shower were in different small rooms-super convenient when getting ready. There is not a tv in the bedrooms so heads-up to those who usually leave it on. The light controls are a little wonky, but there's directions and auto lights to help you out. These are more semamtics and not to detract from the space at all! Keep a close eye out for the sign to guide you in and be careful-its pretty tight getting back to the apt. There is a gravel driveway when you get there, just watch out for trees! We had such a pleasant stay at this space and if we were ever back this way, we would stay again. Thanks, hosts!"

Welcome to a newly built home located 3.6 miles from Cal Ripken Stadium, 6 miles to Aberdeen Proving Ground, 13 miles to Great Wolf Lodge & Hollywood Casino & 25 miles from downtown Baltimore. Spacious fully furnished and nice sized patio with pool area. Professionally cleaned between each guest for your comfort and safety. Property is great for any occasion. Sleeps 8 people comfortably. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 double pull out sofa bed and 2 single futon beds. Plenty of space for air mattress. Home sits on a 1-acre lot.

The stadium was literally five minutes away which was perfect. There is also a Target, Walmart and Wegmans within 15 minutes. (1902) Her King's Quarters is located on the front of The Manor. Enter through her double doors into your private Quarters. Large Living/Dining area, gas fireplace, built ins, 60"Smart TV, free fast speed Wi-Fi, kitchenette with a new full kitchen coming September 15th. Up the beautiful wooden staircase is your Large King Bedroom and a full-size shower/tub combination. Note: Port Deposit is a very small waterfront town with active trains, firehouse, and the Manor is on Main street. This may cause louder then normal noise levels, we have provided ear plugs in the night stands for light sleepers.

A fully stocked kitchen and bath as well as a washer and dryer will complete your stay. Located on a private street with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Rather stay in? There's a grill located in the side yard, where you'll also find a nice space to throw the ball around.

Enjoy the jetted bathtub, shower, and other excellent bathroom amenities. The second living room with a cozy sofa bed is a terrific spot to unwind after a day of exploring. A great private place to call homebase while you're away, located on two wooded acres that border Susquehanna State Park, sleeps 12 comfortably with a pool in season.

The designated smoking area is located in the back of the building parking lot at the rear of the property, at least 25 feet from the building or the grassy areas around the house.

Emergency Exit
Please note there are two exits to this apartment. The entrance and the rear door. The rear door is for emergency access only. Opening the door will trip an alarm and emergency services may be automatically called at your expense for any non emergency. The corridor beyond this door is for private use except for an emergency and is under 24/7 camera surveillance.
Reporting & Communication
Notify the host immediately of any accidents, spills, or mechanical failures so proper advice can be given and further damage avoided.
Prompt communication helps maintain the property and ensures a safe, comfortable stay for everyone.
Check-Out Instructions
Leave the apartment in the same clean condition as when you arrived.
Place used bathroom linens on the bathroom floor.
Remove all personal belongings and dispose of trash properly.
Close and lock all windows and doors.

Return all keys and access cards as instructed.

Occupancy & Access
Additional fees apply to guests staying at least one night.
Do not share access codes with anyone not on the lease or registered as an occupant or listed as a guest that will be accompanying you on your reservation.
Non-Smoking Policy
Smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, vaping) is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, on balconies, patios, in all indoor common areas, and within 25 feet of any entrance, window, or ventilation intake.
The designated smoking area is located in the back of the building parking lot at the rear of the property, at least 25 feet from the building or the grassy areas around the house.
A $600 fee will be charged for any violation of the smoking policy, in addition to cleaning charges and possible eviction.
Please do not re-enter the building immediately after smoking marijuana or tobacco. Ensure clothing and personal items are free from smoke odor before returning inside, as lingering odors can disturb other occupants and will be treated as a violation of the smoking policy.
Evidence of smoking (odor, residue, ash, cigarette butts, or burn marks) will result in immediate enforcement of this policy.
Pets (only dogs 20lbs max)
All pets must be authorized prior to occupancy and all applicable fees paid.
Only authorized pets are permitted. Unauthorized pets may result in immediate eviction.
Dogs must be supervised at all times and never left unattended in the apartment unless crated.
When left alone, dogs must be securely crated to prevent damage or disturbance.
Protect the floors by placing one of your dog’s blankets or mats underneath the crate or where your dog rests, to prevent scratches or damage.
Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.
Immediate clean-up of pet waste is required, both inside and outside the property.
Persistent barking or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
Any pet-related damage or excessive cleaning will result in additional charges.
Do not use baseboard heat. Only use Minisplit Heat.
Security Cameras
Security cameras are installed at the following locations:
Main building entrance, Rear entrance, Laundry room entry, Hallway outside Apt 1A
These cameras monitor entry points and common areas only. There are no cameras inside the apartment or in any private spaces. Tampering with or disabling cameras is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate removal.

Linens & Bedding
Do not use bleach on any bedding, towels, or linens provided. Damaged or discolored items will be replaced at your expense.
Linens and bedding may not be used for cleaning or any other purpose; misuse will result in replacement fees.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The cleaning fee covers only the removal, washing and drying of unit linens.
All other areas must be left as found; occupants are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
Excessive mess or failure to clean will result in additional cleaning charges.
Bathroom cleaning supplies are provided. Please use them to maintain bathroom cleanliness.
Only use white vinegar (never bleach or harsh chemicals) to clean hard surfaces such as floors, counters, and tiles. Do not use vinegar on stainless steel.
Do not attempt to clean any upholstered item without consulting the host first; unauthorized cleaning may result in mandatory replacement.
Use coasters under all drinks to prevent stains on surfaces.
Do not use linens or bedding for cleaning purposes; replacement charges will apply.
Do not bring in outside furniture without consulting with the host.
Modifications, Trash, & Odors
No modifications to the apartment, fixtures, or furnishings are permitted without prior written consent.
All trash must be bagged and disposed of in designated bins. Do not leave trash in hallways or common areas.

The Teacher's Quarters. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Located across from the Historic Havre de Grace Colored School, the Teacher's Apartment was originally 2 small studio apartments, built for teachers at the school.
