Our Happy Place Loft is an old building with lots of character built in the 1850s. There are 2 entrances, but most will be using the back door to enter the property by the keyless lock. One parking spot is available behind the building. The front door is located on Main Street with the old style French doors. The grand staircase will lead you to the upper loft. A key will be available upon request to enter and leave the property this way. The back door enters onto a small back porch. From the porch, you will enter directly into the kitchen, where any family can cook in the well-stocked kitchen.

The dining room has an old built-in where you will find wine to scotch glasses, along with the table and 4 chairs. Off the dining room is the 2nd bedroom and laundry room. This bedroom is located in the back of the loft with a full size bed. The mattress has a bed bug cover along with a mattress pad and sheets for the most comfortable sleep. Extra linens are available. The spacious Master bedroom is located in the front of the loft. It has a King Mattress with a bed bug cover and high-end bedding for a great night's sleep. A lazy boy chair and table light for reading sit in the corner by the decorative fireplace. This room has 2 extra-large windows with exquisite old built-in shutters that fold back into the casing. You will see a spot between the windows that have been signed by the painters of the loft since 1865. The room can be opened up to the family room by moving the 2- 10ft tall pocket doors.

The family room has a cozy feel with leather, all power-reclining, sectional with seating for 5-7. The room has a 65" TV with a Roku attached. Room darkening curtains help make it feel perfect for a movie night in. The game room is located in the middle of the loft which has a pool table for hours of entertainment. The office space is quaint. The perfect place to catch up on work. The office has a large desk that sits in front of a large window that overlooks Main Street. The updated bathroom is located just off the family room featuring tiled, walk in shower.

The Happy Place is located in Downtown Circleville, so expect a little noise on Main Street. The downtown train is about a block and half away from our place.

Just outside the bathroom is a washer and a dryer also a closet with a cot, folding chairs, games, magazines, and extra pillows and blankets. We provide towels and linens. There is a fully furnished kitchen a small table with 4 chairs, a bar with 2 stools. The living area has 1 couch. Complimentary coffee and a few snacks.

There was a fully equipped, amazing kitchen, as well as a multi-level deck with a nice grill. We just chose to eat out on this trip because of our schedule. Our family really enjoyed the pool, and we were amazed at the layout of the house. The hosts took extra care making it feel welcoming and yet spacious. They thought of so many extra details. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable. There were several places where we could all hang out, but there were also places to go and sit if we needed to just think, read, or have a quiet time in the morning. We can’t say enough. Because sound travels far, we have want to respect neighboring properties. We request reduced noise and lower music levels when outdoors after 9pm

No smoking inside....please. Outside is allowed, but please help us out and pick-up any cigarette butts. A $500 indoor smoking fee for indoor smoking (yikes!)

Come enjoy an amazing stay at our little homestead. The house is tucked up close to the woods, which provides lots of privacy. We are 13 miles from Old Mans cave, and 7 miles from Rock House. We have WIFI, it may be slow at times. We have an Amazon Fire TV, able to stream sports and tv shows with your own subscriptions. We are 2.5 miles from the little town of Tarlton which has an IGA convenient store with gas, dollar general, and a few restaurants. Laurelville, Ohio is 5.5 miles and they have handful of restaurants, gas, and in the fall the famous Apple House (apple cider slushies is where its at).

- "always wanted to stay in a treehouse. and this was the nicest one ive ever been in! clean, tidy, with almost any amenity needed. its definiely not a traditional cabin, but we went in expecting that and were not disappointed. super convenient to have a bathroom/shower a few yards away for our use, and the AC unit kept the place nice and cool. we absolutely loved dining on the covered deck beneath the treehouse and sitting by the fire. our son had a blast chasing tiny toads around the property and exploring by the creek. Having any needed grill/dining utensils in the totes was really convenient. we cooked and also took advantage of several carryout places in nearby Circleville. there were a lot of harmless(and kinda cute) hover flies, which apparently is a thing this time of year in ohio? never knew! but they were much less annoying than the black flies im used to back home and pretty much left us alone. if it were my place, I'd add a gate on the lower deck so we could let our dogs chill without having to watch them, but thats a small detail! only complaint per se would be every once in a while we would catch a whif of the nearby oil drill/well in a neighboring field. minor thing. would definitely stay again! maybe next time come with more friends and camp in the nearly spots using the treehouse as a gathering/dining/common use area. we regretted not staying longer!!! hosts were very kind and courteous, eve. shared some fresh eggs and tomatoes with us!"

There are 2 bedrooms located upstairs. You walk thru the bunk room and into the queen size bedroom with a door separating the spaces.

The large game room is located in the barn just a few steps from the front door of the home. The game room is heated and cooled depending on the season. Game room includes gaming space (bring your own system), pool table, foosball, air hockey, board games galore with a table to play them, beer fridge, room to set up a snack bar, darts, washers, corn hole, basketball (hoop in front of barn), workout area, horseshoes outside the back door!

In addition to our 1 King size, 1 Queen size and 7 twin size beds we also have 3 fold out hide a bed couches. (2 queen size, 1 twin size). The hide a bed couches are spread out thru out. They are located in the living room, by the sauna and in the game room. A detailed description as well as pictures of sleeping arrangements is listed under “where you’ll sleep.”

The hot tub, comfortable seating, table and chairs is located on the back patio right out the back door of the home.

The front porch also provides comfortable seating!

The pond with shelter house is in the back yard complete with grilling area, fish food to feed the koi (not provided during winter months), bar area, patio table, porch swing, lounge chairs, and don’t forget the hammocks nearby. Also enjoy a walk on the beautiful nature trail! Bring your fishing poles!

The yard, pasture and farm land that surround provide plenty to see and do. Including but not limited to watching the animals out to pasture, sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, catching lightning bugs, picking wildflowers, fishing, feeding the koi fish, play horse shoes, basketball, swing on one of the porch swings located thru out, go sledding when the snow flys, and so much more.

We do have a strict no pet policy no exceptions.

Our Happy Place Loft is an old building with lots of character built in the 1850s. There are 2 entrances, but most will be using the back door to enter the property by the keyless lock. One parking spot is available behind the building. The front door is located on Main Street with the old style French doors. The grand staircase will lead you to the upper loft. A key will be available upon request to enter and leave the property this way. The back door enters onto a small back porch. From the porch, you will enter directly into the kitchen, where any family can cook in the well-stocked kitchen.

The dining room has an old built-in where you will find wine to scotch glasses, along with the table and 4 chairs. Off the dining room is the 2nd bedroom and laundry room. This bedroom is located in the back of the loft with a full size bed. The mattress has a bed bug cover along with a mattress pad and sheets for the most comfortable sleep. Extra linens are available. The spacious Master bedroom is located in the front of the loft. It has a King Mattress with a bed bug cover and high-end bedding for a great night's sleep. A lazy boy chair and table light for reading sit in the corner by the decorative fireplace. This room has 2 extra-large windows with exquisite old built-in shutters that fold back into the casing. You will see a spot between the windows that have been signed by the painters of the loft since 1865. The room can be opened up to the family room by moving the 2- 10ft tall pocket doors.

The family room has a cozy feel with leather, all power-reclining, sectional with seating for 5-7. The room has a 65" TV with a Roku attached. Room darkening curtains help make it feel perfect for a movie night in. The game room is located in the middle of the loft which has a pool table for hours of entertainment. The office space is quaint. The perfect place to catch up on work. The office has a large desk that sits in front of a large window that overlooks Main Street. The updated bathroom is located just off the family room featuring tiled, walk in shower.
