Come for the fun to a spacious 1st floor walkout basement/apartment just 1 mile from Busch Gardens & Water Country and just 3 miles from Colonial Williamsburg & William and Mary. You'll have a large pool table, bar area, private entrance, private hot tub & fire pit, coffee bar, and free parking in a quiet neighborhood. The space is part of our home (the bottom floor) w/ private entry - it is not shared space. The VRBO filter 'entire home' refers to the entire apartment, and is more than a room or shared room (the other options on any listing).

We would love to share anything you want to know about the area, and surrounding cities. Jamestown and Yorktown are also close by.

We live in the upper 2 floors, so expect to hear us walking and such as the space is not soundproof. The bedroom is on one end, the trundle, TV room is at the other end, and the full bathroom is in the middle and accessible to both. NOTE: There is NO kitchen or kitchen sink, but there is a microwave, toaster oven, blender, fridge, and small freezer with ice. We also provide some plastic plates and bowls, real glassware, and coffee mugs. But again, if needing to wash things, there's only the bathroom sink. Guests are advised to bring their own paper products if NOT eating out or getting take out.

Access is around the back of the home. Street parking is in front of our home and we prefer that guests park on the left side of the driveway. Just go though the wooden gate on the left side of the house and motion lights have been installed for night access. Once confirmed, we will provide a code to enter just before checkin.

Can I check-in early and/or check-out late?

The check-in time is 10 AM. If you're able to arrive sooner, you can leave your luggage with the front desk staff and set out to enjoy the amenities while you wait for your accommodations to be ready. Once on resort property, the front desk staff will request your contact information and let you know if you can get settled into the room before 10 AM.

Front desk staff at all of our resorts are available 24 hours a day. It is not necessary to call if you’re running late, unless it is going to be beyond the initial check-in day.

When your stay has come to an end, you can check-out any time before 9 AM. If you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out, we recommend calling the resort on the morning of check-in to make your request. These decisions are made solely at the discretion of the resort.

What's provided in the unit?

The kitchen will come fully stocked with everything needed to prepare simple meals within the comfort of your suite. This includes cookware and dishware along with such items as oven mitts, can opener, coffee filters (1-2 times use), dishwasher (1-2 times use), laundry detergent (1-2 times use), paper towels, toilet paper, linens, and towels.

Bathrooms also include travel size shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

Can I modify my reservation after booking?

Yes, however, there is a fee for modifications and/or cancellations after the 24 hour booking grace period. After this period, a 15% cancellation fee will be applied to all modifications requested 7 days or more prior to checkin. Any modifications requested less than 7 days will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

The space
At 2831 square feet, this home is very spacious and you are welcome to use the following area's:
Living room/ Sun room
This a spacious room that houses the two large couches and the 55 inch LG display. In winters, the fireplace is functional and makes for a very cozy TV watching experience.
Reading room:
Toward the front of the house is the reading room, filled with natural sun and a view of the front yard, this is a perfect place to relax on the couch or kick back on the lazy boy.
Kitchen space:
The kitchen space has everything you should need, guests are welcome to use both the stove top and microwave. The following amenities are also included:

Laundry Room
Both a washer and dryer are provided.

Bathrooms:
On the second floor is the bathroom this is shared by both the Camelia room and the other guest room (Magnolia room). It is equipped with automatic lighting, an 8ft by 4ft mirror, a shower, toilet and other essentials (hair dryer, hand towels, soap, shampoo, etc.)
On the first floor by the kitchen is also a 1/2 bath that is open for guests to use.
Parking:
Guests will be allocated a parking space that they are welcome to use for the full duration of their stay.
Dining Space:
Large extendable oak dining table holds 6+ chairs.
Outdoor:
As seen in the images, the outdoor space is a beautiful place to be in the summer months. There is patio space that is perfect for lunch on a sunny day. In colder months, feel free to start up a fire under the stars. Seating area's in the back yard and the outdoor porch swing is also available for guests to use.
Animals:
This home also houses 2 dogs (one Italian greyhound/beagle mix and a French Bulldog) in addition to a house cat. All of these animals are well trained. While the dogs may bark at first, if you show them some love, they will learn to love you right back!

The neighborhood is easy to get around. I will provide further instructions on regarding parking access but each guest is provided an allocated parking space which they will be able to use at all times during their stay.

Kick back and relax after a day of touring the historic triangle. This space was originally built as an artists studio for renowned folk artist Nancy Thomas. The amount of natural light is wonderful and there are still some paint remnants from its former days as an artists studio adding to its unique character and history.

The space
The recently renovated cottage sits in a quiet scenic neighborhood surrounded by the Yorktown Battlefield Colonial National Historic Park. Your home away from home is less than a mile from the historic Village of Yorktown and a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. This quaint cottage offers a large loft bedroom upstairs with a Queen size bed accessed by a set of stairs and kitchen/living/dining area downstairs along with a full bath with walk in shower.

The loft bedroom is accessed by a set of wooden stairs and requires luggage to be carried up stairs to the loft bedroom. There is a patio with a sitting area next to the cottage for your use.

Our cozy bed and breakfast is located in the historic village of Yorktown. The inn is only two blocks from Yorktown Beach. This room has a small refrigerator and a Keurig machine. A full breakfast ($17 plus tax/person) or a continental breakfast ($10 plus tax/person) is available onsite for an extra fee. Please message us when you book to let us know if you will be adding breakfast. Museums, restaurants and retail shops are all within walking distance from the inn. CGTC is 2 miles away.

The space
We are a five room bed and breakfast and the owners live on site. The rooms are very private because you access them through outside entrances. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms. You control the in-room HVAC for your personal comfort. Wifi and cable tv provided.

Your Airbnb suite is a private and self-contained space with a separate guest entrance just for you. The main part of the house is where we call home, along with our three friendly dogs. It is located on the second floor of the inn. It is similar to a small apartment and is stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water and snacks. Guests have access to the yard, deck and breezeway, including table, chairs and swing.

My place Is immaculately clean and you will not find a more perfect, central location in historic Yorktown. The second floor is for guests and I only rent to one party/group at a time. Upstairs includes a private bathroom, 1 bedroom suite that includes 2 rooms and a 3rd bedroom. You will have absolute privacy. I am on site and my room is in the basement. This is not a whole-house rental, but if that is what you need, please inquire. I'm very quick to reply...usually within minutes.
