- "Great location for a show at the Crest Theatre. The property was just like the pictures. Beds were comfy and nice to have 2 bathrooms. Great stay!" - "The inside of the property was very warm and welcoming. It did unfortunately lacked and extra supplies for certain things like dish soap for doing dishes. But thankfully the place was about a 10-15 minute walk away from grocery shops or local restaurants as well as the Sacramento Convention center, cheaper than one of the close by hotels if you don't mind the walk. Check-in/check-out process is about as flawless as you can get. There is gated parking included, I would mention it's a tight squeeze if you have a larger SUV and someone is using the spot next to it - but no problem for our Highlander. Any bigger you may want to unload before parking. The apartment itself is the bottom unit of a two level house. I haven't traveled to Sacramento much but I'd rate the neighborhood as quiet/safe. There are some rough areas half a dozen blocks in a few directions so be mindful of that with the kids. But generally I felt fine walking around with them. Another note, according to the maps the nearest grocery is off 12th, but it's more of a convenience store and a bit sketchy around it. I'd suggest loading up on any food you need from a bigger box store farther out. I'd highly recommend the space, it was 4-5 minutes from almost everything we needed to do in town, very convenient location. Thanks again Noah for a really great stay, it was very much appreciated!"

We kindly ask that prior to leaving, place any dishes in the dishwasher and start it, and take out the trash. Leave the home basically as you found it when you arrived.

Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home, please only smoke in the backyard. No smoking of cigarettes or weed inside the house or there will be a $300 charge.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is a stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.

Pets: Pets are allowed with a $100 per pet, non-refundable fee. No more than two (2) pets are allowed. Please alert us prior to your stay if you are planning on bringing along your pet. All pets must be fully potty trained, and not track mud or dirt into our home; please clean your pet's feet if they are dirty/muddy prior to allowing them in the home. Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture, including the beds. Keep the bedroom doors closed that are not being used. We shall not be held responsible in any way for anything that may happen to your pet.
$100 fee for any animal waste found on the property (inside and/or outdoor spaces) after you leave.

Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We can not package and ship things that are left behind.

Noise: Please respect the neighbors by keeping sound down after 10:00 pm. Please be mindful as you move about the duplex that there might be someone trying to sleep next door.

Cameras: We have a Ring Video Doorbell camera installed at the entrance for safety.

Utilities: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off AC/heater when not in the home.

Security Lock: The August smart lock will automatically lock after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don’t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.

- "This duplex unit is very convenient to anything in downtown Sacramento. It has been redone on the inside, making it comfortable, with nice decor, and is very clean. It is well-appointed and would serve nicely for a longer-term stay - we were there for a weekend and did not find anything missing. The extra half bath makes it very comfortable for even four or five people.The unit is the lower one in and up-and-down duplex. There are stairs to get up to the unit level - the ground level of the building appears to be storage.The location is transitional but not at all unsafe. There is convenient parking out back in a yard enclosed with a fence and gate, or on the street in front if you prefer. The back could use some surfacing at the bottom of the stairs leading to the covered back door entrance; it can get muddy in wet weather.The only issue we noticed is that the sound insulation between the units is not good - if there are people in the unit above you will hear them walking around.The AC and heating (individual units in bedrooms and living room, plus additional unit in living room) work well, though it can take some time to retain heat. Space heater and a small fan are in the closets for additional use. We used the space heater in the bathroom, which worked really well.Kitchen has most utensils - we did not cook, but it appears you would have what you need for that. There is a small corner grocery on the same block, convenient for quick needs. Would stay here again."

- "Many thanks to our host Robert for opening his Alkali Flat to us. We found the flat clean, comfortable, and cozy. The instructions and guidance for use of the flat are reasonable and welcome. The basic necessities are easily found, and it was a bonus to have a washer and dryer available. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom always made me smile. The Wi-Fi was consistent and robust enough for our internet surfing and movie watching. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch gazing at the gardens while absorbing the sights and sounds of the city. Another bonus is the off-street parking which felt safe and secure. We chose to walk for much of our exploration, though my husband did say the walks to the Crocker Art Museum and Old Town classified as hikes. 😊 Alkali Flat was a great little place to unwind from our normally busy lives."

Our cozy SacTown get-away private room is nestled in a quiet neighborhood only 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento and only a few minutes from a major freeway, food, and shopping. Enjoy your new home away from home: perfect PRIVATE room with PRIVATE bathroom, and free WiFi. With keyless entry you should enjoy a private stay with minimal to no interaction with the host. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker, and toaster oven in the room, but NO television.

The space
The Room: There is no TV inside the room. The room is on the opposite side of the main living space of our home, so it's fairly private. You also have a private entrance into the room where you enter through our side gate and then through the garage. The room is minimalistic and may seem a bit small as it has a queen sized bed, a small desk, and a little kitchen cart with a coffee maker. Although the private bathroom is not attached to the room, it is directly across from the room and you will be the only one that uses it.

Our home is at the epicenter of food places ranging from fancy to cheap, shopping, and entertainment like Tommy T's Comedy Club, rock climbing, Sky High Sports, Mather Sports Center, karaoke club, breweries, etc.

Not frying, baking and making sauces. Kitchen and Laundry hours are 9 am to 10 pm.

If you’re allergic to cats, I want to make you aware I have a young kitty who sticks pretty much to my spaces. He doesn’t get on the counters and the house does not smell like cats. Even with allergies it shouldn’t bother you but no guarantee.

Contemporary modern private master bedroom for rent in a 4BD & 2BA house in a safe, and quiet neighborhood. This place designated to be your away home because it is perfect for travel nurses, business travelers or tourists. The house is spacious and close to many attractions: Midtown, Folsom, Roseville, Elk Grove, numerous of coffee shops, restaurants, trails, and parks.

The space
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I am renting out two bedrooms (Room 1 and 2) and living in other 2 bedrooms (room 3 and 4) in the house. I work as a full-time Uber driver. This is Room #1, guest will stay in this master bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, a closet, an office desk and a chair. You have full access to the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry machines, free street parking, and the backyard patio.

Walking and running are good. There are many parking spaces on the street. It is convenient. The house is well maintained and the new floor of the room is neat and clean. The house's AC is working 24 hours a day, the summer temperature is controlled at 75 degrees, and the winter temperature is controlled at 70 degrees. Let you relax in a comfortable environment.
