The place is very small but enough room for a single traveler or a couple. It was a bit tricky finding the place and parking can be tricky also. - "Just a little bit noisy because of the crossing roads. Anna was a perfect host. The views are amazing !" - "The apartment is a prime location for access to the best of Astoria and get a feel of living in a diverse and bustling NYC neighborhood. The rooms with its vast windows provides great views of buildings of LIC and Central Park S. Just off the apartment is Broadway where one can indulge in great food of various cuisines and shop for daily needs, groceries, etc. The N/W train is just 5-10 mins walk from the apartment which can be taken to other part of Queens, BK, Manhattan, etc. Additionally, there is the option to also take the NY Ferry from Astoria Terminal just a short walk / car ride away. A short train / car ride takes you to Ditmars Blvd with its great restaurants and also path to Astoria Park for a great relaxing morning / evening walk. - "We stayed at George's place during the pandemic so we could visit my sister who had a baby. The place is wonderful! It's much bigger than it seems in the pictures. We all worked and did distance learning during our week there and while we were all in the same one bedroom, we always felt we had anough space to get everything done. The place is set up like a time share - everything you need is there. And George is great. They even had some extra masks and hand sanitizer available. We ate in a lot, cooked pasta, eggs, you name it. But we also did a lot of take out. The food in Jackson Heights is amazing! On every corner there was a new place I wanted to try. George's place is in walking distance to everything, including the subway. We felt very safe our entire time there. And La Guardia is just a few minutes away. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area! Great Place!"

Please tell me why VRBO allows these listings? I didn't find out about this mandate until the day I was supposed to check in. Mind you, I had booked over a month in advance. Now, VRBO is playing hide-and-seek about a "Book with Confidence" compensation I was promised and emailed about. My place is close to bus that takes to to trendy ditmars boulevard...n train takes you to nyc in minutes. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. BRAND new Insignia TV with built in ROKU stick so u can view YOUTUBE,netflix,pandora,hulu etc and many more channels..(
some subscription is needed)

Newly renovated studio basement apt with private PIN key-less entrance. Efficiency kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, dishes, utensils). Built in AC/heater, lots of lights, Queen sized bed, loveseat, coffee table, tv with Hulu, Netflix, etc (no cable), WiFi. We can provide an air mattress or crib upon request. Towels, shampoo and soap provided.

Guests will stay in the large Queen Sized studio with an attached private full bathroom and private entrance.

We live upstairs with our young child, so you may hear some everyday family noise during daytime hours. That said, our cozy and well-equipped unit is perfect for travelers looking for a comfortable place to rest after exploring all the great attractions and activities the area has to offer!

My husband is also a pianist and may play from time to time between 11am-7pm. We are open to adjusting our schedule if needed.

To access the lower level apartment, you'll walk to the right side of the home via private walkway and enter from the rear entrance of the home.

You have full private access to the entire lower level of the home.
