Both bedrooms feature queen beds with premium hotel quality sheets and linens. I don't play around when it comes to sleeping, which is why I put good money into making sure sheets are soft and comfy.

During the summer months, from May 15th to November 30th, air conditioning is available in the unit. This will ensure a comfortable and cool environment during your stay.

The only small thing they needed to add was a bath mat for the tub, it was very slippery, and maybe a small step stool for shorter people to reach some items in the cupboard. I'm only 5'4". - "Jabari was a very accommodating host and easy to reach out to if there were any issues. When it comes to the living space, it's very spacious and clean. There is a lot to like about the place: Sharp knives and good cookware, fast internet (enough for me and two friends to work from home with no issues), and washer/dryer in unit! In my experience going to anything on the west side or down town is very convenient, as the place is very close to A, B, C and D lines and you can take the 1 line if you walk a little bit further. If you want to do anything in mid-town east or upper east side then the commute gets to about an hour. Only 2 real "issues" from my point of view: 1. The washer/dryer wrinkles up khaki pants/shorts quite a bit. (not that big of an issue as there's laundromats within 2 mins walk) 2. The Projector in the main living area doesn't have the best quality (but if you're in New York you should probably go see the city anyway) Overall a great place to stay with no real problems that you can't easily work around."

- "This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. Everything was prone to disconnect from walls such as everything in bathroom. In addition to paying for the stay they tried to charge me $59/per person per night. Everything was communicated but ignored. I even took pics and videos. In return I was giving a late check out with no charge so far who knows."

There is a childcare center on the 2nd floor that is mostly under control. This apartment is on the first floor with 5 stairs to reach the apartment. The terrain of the area is made up of hills. The street is on a hill and the adjacent avenue is on a hill. There is anything you could need within a few blocks but right across is a Dollar store that really offers everything and an amazing hair salon along with laundry service. The neighborhood can get loud but there's fans within the apartment that drowns out all that or turn on one of the huge fantastic televisions in the place. You'll be the only guests of this owner occupied, self contained yet attached garden suite directly across the street from the Morris-Jumel Mansion, George Washington’s headquarters for 1776′s Battle of Harlem Heights and home to the infamous grand horizontal, Madame Jumel. At the time Duke Ellington dubbed the house “The Crown of Sugar Hill,” the immediate neighborhood was also home to Joe Louis, W.E.B.
