Relax in a spacious and comfortable lakefront home located in a quiet cove just seconds off the main lake in the northeast quadrant of stunning Lake Gaston with no bridges or tunnels to navigate.

This beautiful home offers three stories with outdoor sitting areas and spectacular views on each floor!
The top floor contains 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed, a sofa and a private balcony with a wonderful birds nest view. The other cozy bedroom has two roomy full over full bunk beds.
The main level offers one bedroom, which has a queen size bed and full bathroom that includes a spacious walk in shower and stacking washer & dryer/ laundry center. The main level also hosts the kitchen which has recently replaced cabinetry with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. The open concept leads directly into the living area and the entire back of the house has a wall of glass for a breathtaking view that leads onto a large partially covered patio so you can enjoy the lake no matter where you are in the house or on the property.
The lake level, has a bedroom which is furnished with a queen sized bed, with an expansive full bathroom. In addition there is a kitchenette with a spacious lounge area containing a sofa bed, two recliners, a large selection of board games, books and an 8' slate pool table. There is a beautiful view of the lake from inside that leads to a large patio to enjoy outside. Just steps out onto the back patio, you will find a gathering bar to sit around with friends and family while enjoying a friendly game of cornhole on the permanent granite cornhole boards or relax in one of the 4 swings while enjoying the view of the lake or the warmth of the fire pit.

There are 6 Smart TV's, (one in each living area and one in each bedroom) all of which are also connected to Spectrum Cable with over 125 channels available. There is also convenient wireless high speed internet. There is also a DVD player available for the TV's in the main living areas.

Have fun on the lake and enjoy the sun with a large dock which has a perfect depth of appx 4 -7' to swim and float around in the lake and to navigate your boat. It is equipped with 2 ladders to access the lake and 2 boat slips (1 covered , 1 uncovered, no lifts). There is a convenient concrete boat ramp just two hundred feet away!

In addition to a paddle boat for the lake,2 kayaks and a paddle board, there is a pool table, board games and books in the main house, the garage has been converted into a large game room that hosts a ping pong table, foosball table, air hockey table, weight bench, treadmill, Bowflex machine, stationary bicycle, croquet set, badminton, horse shoes and more. The possibilities for relaxation and fun are endless!

Not only can you enjoy the activities on the lake and in the home but you can enjoy an early morning walk around this quiet, lovely neighborhood.

The grocery store is only 3.5 miles away by land and there are two waterfront restaurants available by water just a short distance away.

The kitchen is equipped with an abundance of appliances and cooking supplies including plates, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, Keurig and drip coffee machines, toaster oven, blender and much more. There is a starter supply of paper towels and toilet tissue available and there are kitchen towels, pillows and blankets in each room. Linens and Bath Towels are included but please bring your own outdoor / lake towels. There is a laundry room on the main level for your personal laundry needs.

There is a large gravel driveway and parking area that provides close and easy access to the house.

It is located in a quiet family neighborhood that does not allow loud parties. If it is used for any purpose other than for family and immediate close friends, you and your guests will have to leave the property with no refund of money paid. Immaculate modern lake house on deep-water cove just minutes by boat to Jimmy’s Creek and Pea Hill Creek. Beautiful safe cove with main lake views can be seen from the living and dining areas, as well as enjoyed while relaxing on the screened porch. Enjoy night-time fun around the new fire-pit!

The main floor has an open concept with seating for 4 at the granite topped island as well as a separate dining, opening to the living area. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances and granite counters create this modern home away from home, filled with amenities. The main floor master bedroom has a king size bed and a walk in closet. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and separate shower.

Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, one with bunk beds and a Full (New 2019) bed and the other with a queen size bed and a lake view. These rooms share a large full bath & tub/shower with plenty of storage.

The lower level has a private room with a queen size bed, a furnished game room and an additional full size futon. The lower level also has a full bath. The game room is equipped with a flat screen TV a game cube and ping pong table. There is a walk out to a covered patio for outdoor dining, just steps to the lake. The Weber gas is also available for your cookouts. The kids will be entertained with a ping pong table, TV and Wii. Like the kitchen, all baths are upgraded with granite counters and new cabinets creating a modern feel.

The large dock has 8 feet of water depth, and offers two areas for boat tie-up for your use. Water depth is 3 feet at the steps near the shore to 8 feet at the outer edge of the dock. The calm water cove allows for safe swimming, floating, kayaking and paddle-boarding for worry free water play.

The landscaped back yard is perfect for badminton or Frisbee. The Lantana bushes attract butterflies and hummingbirds in the summer and at night chase the fireflies in the yard with the little ones.

Just a few miles to the public boat launch, there is ample space for multiple vehicles and your boat trailer on our property. Washburn's Mariana is also nearby for your boating needs (and a great morning biscuit!)

Conveniently located, spacious lakefront home with level lot, mature trees and small private beach in popular Pea Hill Creek on the Northeast quadrant of Lake Gaston. This 2-level, pet friendly home is designed with families in mind and is the perfect location for annual family reunions or vacations! THE OUTSIDE DETAILS:
Let’s face it. You don’t come to Lake Gaston for the house… you come for the setting and all that the lake has to offer! Whether you want to relax or play, this property has everything you need! For those of you who want to relax, come enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the Adirondack chairs on the dock, sway in the hammock under the trees, or swing in one of the double swings on the small, private beach.

The swimming area is protected from the hustle and bustle of the main lake and is the perfect place for swimming and boating. The water is shallow near the edge of the property for younger children to stand in and swim. The water level is 3-4 ft near the dock and gets deeper as you head toward the main lake. We have two paddle boards, six kayaks (five singles and one double) and a pedal boat for our guests to enjoy. We have multiple “old school” orange life jackets, but please bring your own if possible. There are lots of areas to safely explore by kayak or paddle board, including a little island called "Halley Rock." If you decide to rent a boat (or bring your own), we have a boat dock that you can dock up to. And for all of you who love to fish - Pea Hill Creek (and Lake Gaston in general) offers some of the best fishing in the state!

The yard is certainly worth mentioning as it truly feels like a special place. The large, mature trees provide ample shade and respite from the sun. We have an outdoor shower, picnic table, corn hole, a horseshoe pit, a fire pit and a big field for yard games! Feel free to bring your own games! We also have a large, gas grill outside for grilling.

This is truly one of the best coves on the lake! The main lake is just a few minutes away by boat. The Pea Hill Creek boat ramp is less than 2 miles away, as is the Lake Gaston Golf Course! One of the best things about Lake Gaston is that it’s in a beautiful, quiet, charming, rural area. There are no big box stores here! Our home is conveniently located with access to local restaurants, the Food Lion, an ice cream shop, mini golf, multiple marinas, boat rentals, bait shops, gas stations and more.

THE HOUSE DETAILS…
MAIN FLOOR: The main floor has an open floor plan and is a perfect space for entertaining large groups! There is a fully stocked kitchen and huge dining table that seats 10 comfortably. There are three additional seats at the counter. The kitchen is loaded with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, bakeware, serving trays, bowls, storage containers, strainers, pitchers, drinkware, etc. There are also tons of “extras,” including a microwave, crock pot, blender, toaster, Keurig, a drip coffee pot, tea kettle, mixer, meat slicer, etc. ***Wondering if a particular item is available in the kitchen? Please message me for clarification.

The spacious family room offers comfortable seating and a large 55” TV.. The family room and kitchen open out to the huge upper deck with lots of comfortable seating and great views of the lake and backyard! On this one deck alone, there are three seating areas: sink into the comfortable chairs in the covered deck area with ceiling fan, do some bird watching from the rocking chairs under the canopy of the trees, or enjoy a meal on the small outdoor table! We regularly see a pair of bald eagles and flying squirrels from the back deck; it's incredible! There is also a lower deck that offers another great area for enjoying the beautiful outdoors with additional comfortable patio seating, providing you with multiple areas to spend time with your family and friends.

Back to the main level… There are three bedrooms upstairs: one master bedroom with a king-sized bed and private bath, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and one bedroom with two twins. There is a hall bathroom on this level with a tub/shower combo. All bedrooms have smart TV’s, alarm clocks, dressers and spacious closets.

LOWER LEVEL: The lower level is stocked with entertainment. There is an 8’ Olhausen pool table, a foosball table, tons of games and puzzles, a large TV for movies or watching the game, and multiple areas for relaxing. The lower level has two bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed and the other with two bunk beds (one double and three twins); there is also a pull out sofa in the main area. There is a full bath with a tub/shower combination. There is also a laundry room on this level with a full-sized washer and dryer for your use.

WHAT MAKES THIS PROPERTY UNIQUE? This house does not feel like a rental property… it feels like home. The furnishings are high quality, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked… All you have to do is walk in the door and you have all you need to be able to relax and enjoy your lakefront vacation. We treat our guests like friends and are always available if you have questions or concerns. We have confidence that you will love this home as much as we do! - "Our entire family had the best time at Holly and Chad's home! It was very clean, they provided everything we could possibly need or want! The kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boats were a huge hit and got used every day. The kids were able to fish right off the dock while the littles played on the beach. The house sits on a small, private cove with water surrounding 2 sides. The cove opens up to the main lake with gorgeous, expansive views! Six flat screen smart tvs wth cable, as well as high speed internet and telephone service. *Conveniently located 5 minutes from Food Lion, Subway, ABC store, ACE hardware, Family Dollar, Putt-Putt, and several restaurants. Equipped with tons of board games, 3 new kayaks, new cornhole boards, new ping pong table, and a new paddle boat that seats 5. A renovation was completed in 2016 and the entire house, EVERYTHING, has been renovated and newly furnished and decorated! Everything in this home is brand new! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with high ceilings, large closets, and plenty of space to store your things...no cramped quarters! You can spread out, unpack, and really enjoy your vacation! Thermostats on each level (3) so multiple guests can set preferred temperatures on the floor where they're sleeping.

THE DETAILS:

MAIN FLOOR: an open floor plan with a 59 inch' LCD TV, open family room, gas fireplace, beautiful fully stocked kitchen and a half bath. The master bedroom is on this floor, with king bed, flat screen smart tv with cable, and a large master bathroom with rain shower head and jacuzzi tub. The main deck area off the house is on this floor with a 480+ sq. ft. screened in porch. The porch has a table that seats 10, and a large sectional couch for relaxing and looking out at the lake. The laundry room is also on this level with new large capacity washer and dryer. * Note: Both a drip coffee maker and a KEURIG are in the main kitchen. The KEURIG has a carafe and uses either the one cup pods or the carafe pods.

UPSTAIRS: has 2 bedrooms and a large full bath with double sinks, tub, and shower. One bedroom has a king sized bed, desk and chair, as well as a private balcony with table and chairs, 2 new chaise lounges for sunning, and beautiful lake views. The second bedroom has a king sized bed and a full sized futon. Both bedrooms have new flat screen smart tvs with cable.

BASEMENT/LOWER LEVEL: has a pool table, large 59" flat screen TV, large leather couches, 2nd gas fireplace, 2 bedrooms and a full bath with double sinks. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the second has 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds total). A second kitchen is on this level with sink, stove, microwave, and full sized refrigerator. *A drip coffee maker is also on this level.

OUTSIDE: New extra large gas grill, huge lower patio that wraps around the house and has a long stretch that's perfect for cornhole (boards provided or bring your own). Ping pong table on the lower level patio.

The boat house has a covered area with a bar, two boat lifts and a slip to the side to tie up a 3rd boat. There are 3 kayaks and a peddle boat, all available for use. One boat lift and double jet ski lifts are also available for use. The main deck is spacious with plenty of room for fishing and relaxing in the sun. The swimming area is private and protected from the hustle and bustle of the main lake, but the cove opens up to the main lake with easy access and beautiful views. Water depth at the end of the dock is 5-6 feet and gently slopes out into the cove reaching depths of 14-15 feet, getting deeper as you head toward and into the main lake.

There are several marinas on the lake for gas, good food and boat rentals.

There is a free public boat ramp less than a mile from the house, it is called the Henrico Wildlife Access boat ramp.

Another public boat ramp, Pea Hill Creek Ramp, is 5.6 miles from the house on DELBRIDGE Rd. Mapqest can provide you with precise directions from your location or from the house.

*Bring your own....tupperware, ziplock bags, detergents, toiletries, and paper towels.

LINENS, TOWELS, & BEACH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED. A fully stocked kitchen for cooking is also provided (dishes, cutlery, bowls, bakeware, blender, pots, pans, cups, crock-pot, mixer, drinkware, etc.) Wondering if a particular item is available in the kitchen for cooking?... please message me for clarification. :)

NOTE: A damage deposit of $500 is required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable and done so automatically within (7) days after departure, provided the following provisions are met. *THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED!

A. No damage is done to the home or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear, and the home and all of its furnishings are kept in good order (to include the boathouse and its contents).
B. No charges are incurred due to missing items, pets, or collection of rent or services rendered during the stay.
C. All trash, debris, rubbish and discards are placed in outside trash can and left at street for pick up
D. All soiled/dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
E. Home is left locked on ALL levels.
F. All charges (if any) accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
G. No linens/towels are lost or damaged.
H. No Early check-in or late check-out (unless agreed upon and placed in the rental contract)
I. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner).

Large open floor plan best describes this beautiful waterfront home located on Pea Hill Creek. 5 bedrooms / 3 ½ baths. Sleeps 10 (beds for 10, futon, crib and bed mat available for kids). This 2 story home is non-smoking. We call our home – Camp Quinn!

Bedrooms include - 1st floor Master King, 2 Queen. 2nd floor King and King with futon (folds out to double) and crib. Each bed features a different type of mattress to accommodate sleeping preferences. Large master (located on the main floor) has a king bed with pillow top mattress. 2nd bedroom on main floor offers a queen bed also with a pillow top mattress. 3rd bedroom on main floor is a queen bed with an orthopedic mattress. Upstairs offers what we call a 2nd master featuring a king bed with memory foam mattress. This large 2nd master room includes a crib and futon. The 5th bedroom is a king with an orthopedic luxury firm mattress. This room overlooks the beautiful lake with some of the best views in the house!

Large master bath has a walk in shower and whirlpool bath. 2nd full bath is located between the two queen rooms downstairs. 3rd full bath is upstairs. Half-bath is located on the main floor just off the laundry room. Toilet paper is included so guests will not have to worry about this!

Linens and towels are included. Beds will be made when you arrive!

Recently remodeled large well-stocked cooks kitchen features double ovens and plenty of counter space. Dining area seats 6-8 with additional table leaves to fit 10-12 for family gatherings. There are 2 highchairs. There is a farmhouse style table on the screen porch that seats 8 (our favorite place to eat!) As we love to cook, this kitchen is very well stocked. We include a large selection of spices, salt & pepper, paper towels, and some food storage items (foil, plastic wrap, etc.). Guests just need to purchase coffee, food and drinks. For added convenience, there is a 2nd full size refrigerator located in the garage just outside the back door.

The screened in porch is the best part of this property with excellent water view. The extra-large porch features a farmhouse table that seats 8, sofa, love seat, and several comfortable chairs for relaxing with family and friends while enjoying the lake.

Gentle slopping lot to water’s edge and boathouse with boat and jet ski lifts. Guests are able to use the boat lift, and we have added a dock extension to accommodate pontoon boats. Enjoy food and drinks on the dock bar with seating for 4. Additional seating on the dock - wrought iron table (with umbrella) and 4 chairs, 2 wrought iron lounge chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake

Located on quiet protected cove just a short boat’s ride from the main lake. Lake depth at the end of our dock is 4' with a ladder into the lake for swimming. We provide a selection of pool noodles to enjoy cooling off in the lake. As you move away from the dock, the water depth gets progressively deeper. A patio with fire pit is available for evening enjoyment and we keep a stock of firewood available for use. Deck includes a double gas grill with 2 grilling surfaces, 6-seat dining table with center fire pit table, outdoor counter seating with 4 stools.

We encourage families to “disconnect” from the normal electronic life while on vacation to Camp Quinn (although we do offer WiFi, Smart TV’s, and Cable), and connect with the simple face-to-face family time. We offer a variety of inside and outside family games. Outside games include giant Jenga, corn hole boards and other fun activities for the entire family.

We have converted the garage into a rec room. It has a ping pong table, large Smart TV, games for more family recreation.

We offer 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak and a canoe for guest use. There is also 2 adult bikes (Schwin Cruiser) guest can use to bike around the paved, flat neighborhood roads.

Home is conveniently located on Pea Hill Creek (desirable cove off main lake). Closest public boat ramp is Pea Hill Boat Ramp (4.2 miles). Lake Gaston Golf Club (public) is 1.3 miles away. Also located nearby are Food Lion grocery store, Ace Hardware, and indoor/outdoor Flea Market featuring mini golf, Mad Freeze and a sea food market. Thursday night is BINGO night at the local fire hall. Restaurants are scattered around the area with some offering lake-front dining for all ages! Rosemont Winery is approx. 25 min from the house and offers wine tasting, tours, and picnicking. "The Lodge at Lake Gaston" is a beautiful log cabin style home with a million dollar view. 4 bedroom plus loft home, located on waterfront of main Lake Gaston near entrance to Pea Hill Creek. Lake Gaston is located right on the NC/VA state line and was recently declared the #1 lake getaway across the United States by BuzzFeed and its readers.

Large double boat house with spiral staircase leading to a sun deck (used to be a helipad!). Boat house is ready for fun with plenty of deck chairs, storage room (with bar window), sound system and water slide! Large waterfront area (bulkhead) with deep water (5-6 feet). The gently sloping yard has a large stone fire pit & pizza oven. We also have a Saber infrared gas grill and smoker (both attached to central house propane). Generac whole house generator provides peace of mind in case of power outages.

This home has an open floor plan; kitchen, living & dining room combination, fireplace & 2 master suites , plus half bath and laundry room on the main level. French doors from living room, & bedrooms open to large covered porch with gorgeous view of Lake Gaston & boat house. Open Loft area upstairs overlooks living area & has view of the lake, additional bedroom upstairs.

Head downstairs to enjoy the recreation area with full bar, granite countertops, old-fashioned arcade games, digital piano, Tornado foosball, ping pong and TV/surround sound set-up. Oversized bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (both twin over full) is perfect for lots of kids or a whole family.

My brother-in-law's pontoon boat is docked at our house and available to rent from him (rate is approximately $1000 per week, daily rates vary). If you are interested in the pontoon, I can put you directly in touch with him. There are also several marinas in the area that rent other types of boats and water skis.

We have a paddle boat and kayaks (1 tandem adult kayak and 2 youth/small adult kayaks) and a SUP (stand up paddleboard) that are available for renters to use (no additional charge).

The house is convenient to all boating and shopping needs. On the main lake, but also close to the more quiet coves of Pea Hill Creek. 5 minutes from Food Lion grocery store, Dollar General and Ace Hardware.

Lake Gaston is a clean water lake; you can eat what you catch or just throw them back.

As a guest, you can enjoy the use of two docks, 2 canoes, 2-paddle boats, and 5 kayaks, all located on the property. Paddle to nearby island for a picnic. Bring your own life jackets.

The spacious kitchen is equipped with electric appliances, plus a microwave, toaster oven, toaster, and coffee maker w/keuriq, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and 2 crockpots. You can enjoy meals at the kitchen bar, in the dining room (total seating 12-13) and/or on the screened porch which has an outdoor table & chair set. Don't forget the wrap around deck overlooking the lake!

Upper level has two bedrooms, two baths, great room, dining room, kitchen, and screened porch. The master suite overlooks the lake with access to deck, queen bed, 36' smart tv w/steaming, and full bath. The second bedroom with full bed is located off the kitchen area. Guests w/ physical limitations or needing assistance will be comfortable in guest bathroom w/ 2 seat 48' shower.

The great room is a spacious meeting place for all, with two sofas (one full sleeper sofa) 2 reclining chairs, a side chair, a game/puzzle table with 4 folding chairs and 50" TV and DVD. Lots of DVD movies provided.

Two bedrooms are located downstairs with walkout lake views; one bedroom with queen bed,a folding single bed in the closet, Smart Tv's and DVD, the second with pyramid bunk bed (twin on top and full on bottom), and double twin (makes a king-size bed) day bed with trundle. The bunk bed room is great for five to six kids, this room has a TV and DVD also.

Please provide your own towels and linens. No telephone land line. 500 Gbps Internet included. Verizon & AT&T phones work well

The house is on the main lake and located on a cul-de-sac, in Henrico, NC on the NE Quad. It takes less than two hours from Virginia Beach, one and a half hours from Raleigh, NC, one hour and a half from Richmond and three-four hours from Maryland and Washington, DC. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, jet-skiing, sunbathing, and boating on the lake. Lake Gaston has 350-miles of shoreline. It is 34 miles in length and 1.3 miles across at its widest point. In addition to the main part of the Lake, there are many coves to sight see on.There are some areas of the lake that average about 52 feet deep with the middle of the coves averaging around 16 feet deep. There are currently no restrictions on power boats or jet skies on the Lake.

NOTE : Renters are required to bring linens and towels. Pets need to be Leashed when outside.

Check in time is after 3pm with check out time by 10am for summer rentals. All other rentals are on an individual basis.

- "The house is equipped with everything one needs. Lovely deck looking out at the lake. Flat screen TV's in every room. The only drawback - and only because two of us were seniors with some mobility issues - was that there was no bathroom downstairs. We had almost perfect weather and the water temperature was great. Bring a couple of noodles and soak! The kids loved the water slide, but I don't recommend it for seniors. Ron was quick to respond with any minor issues we had. Once I figured out the WI-FI password- small "S", it worked with all our devices. Highly recommend this vacation home. I would suggest that Ron offers a linen service and we would have gladly paid for it."
