- "This apartment is the top floor in downtown Herndon atop a hair salon. It was quite spacious for the two of us and the bathroom was to die for! The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were top-notch. Actually a little jealous because they were nicer than my apartment appliances. The king size bed was very comfortable. Parking is not provided but there are several free municipal lots nearby and we were always able to get a spot in front of the place. Nice farmers market on Thursday mornings. There are several quality restaurants with walking distance. Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern was a favorite. I would avoid Sullys Pourhouse. As a former resident of Herndon it was a hoot to visit old stomping grounds."

I think we might have been the first ever guests at this wonderful tiny house. It was utterly spotless and almost everything inside seemed new. It seemed like new construction, flawless. The place feels more like a large apartment than a little house, but maybe that’s because I haven’t got a lot of experience with little houses. There’s a sizable bedroom with a big closet, a big comfortable living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a stall shower, as well as an outdoor sitting area and access to the large, clean hot tub. The owner has thought of everything and then some. The design is modern and tasteful. The bed is a sleep number bed, which saved my back! The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are completely full of useful things, most of which you wouldn’t find in a hotel room. In addition to the usual dishes and pots and pans, there’s a Keurig coffee maker, complete with every variety of coffee you might want. There was a bowl of chocolates out on the counter and several things in the fridge (ice cream bars, carbonated apple juice, spring water, etc.), all available at no extra charge. There’s a washer and dryer in the bathroom, along with detergent and even spot remover. They, of course supplied us with bar and liquid soap, shampoo, etc. There were too many nice touches to list! Splendid place!"

We had two suites and in spite of being "non smoking" both smelled of cigarette smoke. When we complained the management never called back; we called them and they offered to do a deep clean which I knew would cover the smoke with chemicals. Fortunately we had strong air filers with us since we are displaced from our home. That made it tolerable. The space is small and there were only 2 shared washing machines for the entire property which is ridiculous. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen small. We also had a slow leak in the kitchen sink and they sent a handyman who couldn't fix it and that was it. Also, the day we arrived we walked through a plume of pot smoke near our exterior door. We tolerated our stay and were very happy to leave at the end of it. We felt overcharged for a very mediocre stay. "

Our house is professionally cleaned between bookings and comes with clean linens, towels, bathroom accessories. With any booking of 20 nights or more we require house be cleaned every 15 days by our professional cleaner. There will be a additional $250 charge for this.

4. Absolutely no smoking or drugs inside, outside on deck, or in yard. This is a 100% Non-somoking property. Violation of this forfeits deposit.
5. No pets allowed.
6. No additional overnight guest permitted. All overnight guests must be registered.
7. Keep noise at respectable level, as not to annoy neighbors.
8. Do not park in or obstruct neighbors' driveways.
9. No bonfires, hot pots, stoves, or grills.
10. Please remove street shoes in the foyer area inside the house.
11. Each room comes with 2-luggage racks. No bags on sofas, tables, beds or chairs.
12. This is family friendly house, however the house is not child proofed. Please watch your children all the times.
13. Please double check your belongings before check-out. If I need to ship your things, I will charge actual shipping cost and $35 handling fee per shipment.
14. All guest are required to sign a rental agreement before I approve their booking request.
15. Also please be courteous and leave the property in the same general condition as when you had check in, by making sure dishes are washed and put away, the used towels are put in the washer and the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted and sanitized.
16. I require house be professionally cleaned every 2 weeks. There will be a $250 charge per cleaning. VRBO does not auto calculate this and this will have to be paid separately.

There are two stairs for upper floor and basement access. Upper floor bathtubs are high and deep, please be careful during entry and exit of the bathtubs.

No access to garage, which is used as storage.

Guests can self check in anytime after 4PM, however, I will come to greet guests if you are checking in prior to 9 PM, or the next day. Main entrance has a number lock. Once I accept your booking, I will set the lock code to the code that you will pick.

When checking out, please make sure you have not left any of your personal belongings. Please text me with any last minute changes, or just to let me know you are checking out, so I can send the cleaning crew to prepare for next guests. Your security deposit will be refunded, if there is no damage within 1 week.

My Interaction with Guests:

I like to meet and greet my guest when they arrive or if they are arriving after 9 Pm I will want to meet next day at a scheduled time. I live about 30 minutes from the house and I am available anytime via call or text. Please feel free to call me with anything you need, your comfort is my number 1 priority.

Fully furnished and renovated with new appliance and new air condition with new air filter system. It has internet, parking space and swimming pool with permit. The location is near to meager highways like Dulles toll road, rout 28,7, Fairfax parkway, old ox road.
Accusable for Herndon metro station, the bus also in front of the house, all the shopping and entertainment place walking distance. The place is very quiet, peaceful and center. And very convenient to go any where.

Other things to note
For the longer stay customer will be needed to change their bedsheets and the towels at least one a week and it will be also applying $30.00 fee.
If you wanted to use the laundry we’re not providing. We’re kindly asking to use outside of the unit which’s the laundromat next to our house also available to use with reasonable price.
In terms of temperature, the normal temperature of the listing will be 70 degrees, if you want to increase or lower the temperature, you need to let me know and the other guest should agree for the temperature that you needed. If the other guest is fine with the temperature, and you still want to change it, there should be an additional fee for it. it’s not allowed to turn on the fane or to open the window at anytime while the air condition or the heater is running.
