This 3750 sq. ft, 4 bedroom, 4 full bathroom (with tubs and showers) home with one queen sleeper sofa sleeps 23. The Master Bedroom includes one queen bed (as well as a full size crib for babies or small children), Upstairs Bedroom #1 includes 2 queen beds, Upstairs Bedroom #2 includes one queen bed, and the landing upstairs includes 2 twin daybeds with twin trundles. The bedroom downstairs includes 3 queen beds as well as a queen daybed with a twin trundle. Freshly and beautifully decorated in a lake home theme with restful blues, grays and creams, there are quality linens on the luxury beds that will provide you with a wonderful night of sleep. There is a first-class gourmet kitchen including a Viking range, refrigerator, freezer and all high end stainless steel appliances. All rooms throughout the cottage have a fantastic view of Claytor Lake, there is also a vast stone patio with multiple levels and views, including a fire pit area (wood provided). Bathrooms include luxury towel warmers, granite countertops and a Jacuzzi tub in the Master Bathroom. A gathering room downstairs includes a pool table, air hockey table, Foosball table, dartboard, bar area (including SubZero refrigerator, freezer drawers, professional capacity icemaker, deluxe wine refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave), kitchen table, and fireplace with plenty of room for large groups. There is also a large laundry room with 2 sets of washers and dryers. Outside, there is a large stainless steel Viking outdoor gas grill with rotisserie attachment, perfect for barbecues and big gatherings (propane provided). We also have plenty of inner tubes for floating, horseshoes, outdoor park grill (please bring charcoal if interested), paddle boards and 6 (10 ft.) kayaks for the guests, tons of fun things to do for the kids and family!

The Blue Heron Getaway is located on the shores of Claytor Lake in the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia. The lake is popular for many water sports including boating, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The natural beauty of the area offers nearby opportunities for bird watching, hiking and biking on the New River Trail. The apartment is just steps from the waters edge. Enjoy water sports and relax in the evenings with a camp fire. Dine on the patio or deck. Sun on one of our three decks or relax in the porch swing by the water.

We are located 30 minutes from Radford University, 45 minutes from Virginia Tech, 30 minutes from Claytor Lake State Park and 10 minutes from Boy Scout Camp Powhatan.

If traveling I 81 N, take exit 94A, turn left onto Route 100 and proceed as listed above.

A car is necessary to enjoy the area attractions. For quick travel use I 81. For winter travel a 4 wheel drive may be necessary to access the property in case of increment weather.

You can even bring your kayak, put in on one end and get out on the other! Hike down to the river/trail access or drive down - whatever you prefer! This access is only shared with three other homes. The neighborhood, with a private road, features about a dozen homes on the upper portion of Claytor Lake. You're only about 2 miles upriver from the Lowman's Ferry "Lighthouse" Bridge. The house sits directly on Claytor Lake with a dock for your own private access to the water. About 40 minutes to Virginia Tech and Radford University, 25 Minutes from Draper Valley Golf Club, and about 4 miles to the Boy Scout's Camp Blue Ridge Scout Reservation. There are also many wineries and breweries throughout the area including Iron Heart which is only 8 miles from the house. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, a fall get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat.

All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat.

The Claytor Escape Lodge at Claytor Lake is a waterfront lodge that offers plenty of space for your group with gorgeous panoramic views of the lake. It’s perfect for gathering with family, friends, work trip, VT/Radford Univ. events. It’s a very private, peaceful part of the lake with lots of wildlife and few passing boats. The large deck is perfect for gathering, grilling, unwinding or making s’mores at the fire pit. Huge private dock for fishing, swimming, boating & creating memories.

The lodge is very private, quiet, peaceful and full of natures beauty. WiFi with excellent speed for working remotely with a desk overlooking the lake. Linens, towels, toilet paper and hand soap are provided.

The lodge features a huge front porch, partially covered, to enjoy your morning coffee along with a private stone patio to enjoy grilling and dinners outside. Newer furniture, excellent WIFI internet, washer/dryer, private patio and decks, multiple decks on both levels, and all the kitchen essentials. There is a Gas grill for grilling and also a propane gas fire pit to enjoy on the deck for s'mores. There are three separate sitting areas with couches throughout the lodge. The large master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed with stunning views and a large private master bath with both shower and jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom features a king size bed. The third bedroom has a queen size bed with sliding glass door to private back deck. The fourth bedroom has a daybed along with bunkbeds. There is great swimming and fishing off the dock. The water at the end of the dock is about 5-7 feet deep and has a ladder for easy access in and out of the water. On the upper deck of the dock there is plenty of space for relaxing and catching a suntan. There is a sand bar about 40-50 ft out from the dock that prevents boats from the main channel from coming near the dock which makes it very private for swimming. If you have a boat there is easy access to the dock and has tie ups available. There is are 2 paddle boards and a 2-seat pedal boat available for guests.

It is located 10 minutes from Radford and 30 minutes from Blacksburg VA. Abigail's Lake View has been a vacation rental since 2018 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has an area for a family to have access to swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating. There is a place to safely house a boat or any other water toys. It is very private and a great place to have family get togethers. The open floor plan and the expansive decking provides a great area to relax, grill out, eat and visit with family and friends. This peaceful home on a quiet street sits right on Claytor Lake. It features two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a bed that converts from a full to a king and includes extra pillows, blankets, and beach towels in the closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a regular coffee maker. The living and dining room windows can be opened for fresh air. A smart TV with a digital antenna is available in the living area.

Guests can enjoy lake access and a private dock. There is a canoe. The boat launch is only suitable for a jet ski or kayak.

We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay.

The house is located in the heart of the New River Valley and is just miles from the New River Trail State Park. The neighborhood, with a private road, features about a dozen homes on the upper portion of Claytor Lake. You're only about 2 miles up river from the Lowman's Ferry "Lighthouse" Bridge. The house sits directly on Claytor Lake with a dock for your own private access to the water. About 40 minutes to Virginia Tech and Radford University, 25 Minutes from Draper Valley Golf Club, and about 4 miles to the Boy Scout's Camp Blue Ridge Scout Reservation. There are also many wineries and breweries throughout the area including Iron Heart which is only 8 miles from the house. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, a fall get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat.

All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The boat lift will be used by the property owners occasionally and the rental does not include use of the owner's boat or boat lift.

This listing is to rent two side-by-side houses. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, 2 story house features sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people. Two bedrooms have king beds and the third bedroom has a full over full bunk bed. Additionally, there is one sleeper sofa, 2 couches, a sectional sofa, and a Pack n' Play available. Outdoor seating with tables for 8; large dining room table inside. The dock is provided with rental and is available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The boat lift will be used by the property owners occasionally and the rental does not include use of the owner's boat or boat lift.

The kitchen is filled with plenty of plates, drinkware, cookware, and items to make your stay comfortable including: Blender, Coffee Maker(regular and Keurig), Toaster, and Waffle Maker. The water off of the dock, which has a ladder for easy access in and out of the water, is 5-7 feet deep and is great for swimming! There is a sand bar about 40ft off of the dock that keeps boats from the main channel from coming near the dock.

Contentment on the Cove is the year-round residence of John and Jan, your hosts. They have fitted two en-suite guest rooms on the first floor of their home. The spacious second floor houses a fascinating art and antique collection as well as many common spaces your are welcome to share including large screen TV, pool table, stone patio with grill, lakeside dock, and paddle sporting vessels.

Jan and John love to share their enthusiasm for Claytor Lake with their guests! They are active Master Naturalists, boaters, Friends of Claytor Lake (FOCL) members, and community servants in the Pulaski County region.

During your stay
John and Jan, your hosts, live upstairs and this is their year-round residence. They are available to interact as much or as little as you prefer.

Other things to note
Please note that stairs are required for entry into the guest rooms. There is a Scottish Terrier and two cats that live in the home, although they are not allowed into guest rooms.

The Blue Heron Getaway is located on the shores of Claytor Lake in the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia. The lake is popular for many water sports including boating, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The natural beauty of the area offers nearby opportunities for bird watching, hiking and biking on the New River Trail. The inlaw suite/apartment is just steps from the waters edge. Updated furnishings throughout allow for guest comfort.

The space
The apartment entrance is located on the side of the house. The living room offers a rocker, recliner, Q sofa sleeper, electric fireplace/heater and 45" television with Direct TV access. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven and microwave. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The bedroom has a K bed, night stands, chair, luggage rack and closet with hangers. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination and comfort height toilet. We supple sheets, towels and starter soap and paper products. Salt and pepper provided. Both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig are available for guest use. Coffee is not provided.
Our guest have control of the air conditioning and heat. Guests are welcome to use the front porch, patio and grill area and front yard. These areas are consider common shared areas and these areas are monitored by security cameras.
The house is equipped with a whole house generator. In case of a power outage guess still have air conditioning/heat, lights, running hot and cold water, and refrigeration.
The hot tub is located on the front deck for the exclusive use of guest.

Guest access
Guests have access to all areas in the front of the house. This includes the patio, decks and lake frontage. The fenced backyard offers about an acre for pets to run and exercise.

Other things to note
Enjoy water sports and relax in the evenings with a camp fire. Dine on the patio or deck. Relax in the private hot tub. Sun on one of our three decks or relax in the porch swing by the water. Power crafts and kayaks can be rented locally. A license is required to operate power watercraft. Renters are responsible for compliance with Virginia laws. Guests are encouraged to bring a life jacket.

This spacious home is the perfect place to base your vacation on the New River Trail! We are located on the trail at mile marker 12.5 on one of the prettiest parts of the New River Trail. From the veranda you can listen to the rapids of the New River spilling into Claytor lake. There is a boat launch less than a half mile away offering free river access. Little travelers have their own space with a play room upstairs and plenty of room to play outside.

The space
This is a great home to spread out and relax. There are 3 ample-sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and is located on the ground floor. There is an attached full bath with shower. There are 2 additional bedrooms upstairs (Queen and King) as well as a trundle day bed (2 twin-sized beds). There is a full bath with tub and shower upstairs. There are 3 comfortable living areas, 2 of which have large-screened T.V.s with satellite. The internet is also satellite, and while it is the fastest speed available in the area, it is limited and not suitable for streaming/gaming. We promise to upgrade as soon as cable/DSL comes to our rural location! Well behaved, potty trained dogs (up to 2) are welcome. There are no pet fees and a large crate is available.

You will have access to the home. No one else lives on the property.

Other things to note
-The area is rural and mountainous.
-Cell phone service is spotty. Verizon and US Cellular currently have the best service available, and it isn't great.
-The nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away in Pulaski.
-There is a Dollar General and Family Dollar about 10-15 minutes away.
-It may be best to bring your groceries with you on arrival.
-The coffee is both Keurig and Regular drip, and we provide a few K cups to get you started.
-The New River Trail runs right through the front yard offering free access to the trail.
-The New River is across the street and not directly accessible from the property. There is a public boat ramp about 1/2 mile down the road that offers free parking and river access.

Other things to note
The lake house sits on a 1-acre flat lot with a large waterfront yard. 15-20mins off I-81. We have lots of wildlife including deer, geese, turkey. The well water does get murky with heavy rain, but quickly clears up. The house is raised off the ground so the stairs are required for access into the home. The garage is the only area not accessible to guests. We hope you'll come enjoy our space as much as we enjoy it. We're here to answer any questions you may have.

Boat rentals are available at Conrad’s Marina and the Rock House Marina. Ample space to dock your rental boat at the existing floating dock or to the cleats at the boat house.

Enjoy the spacious living room with pull-out couch and 55" TV with Direct TV and Amazon Fire Stick access. Relax in the main bedroom with a king bed, day bed, and 70" TV with DirectTV access. Clean the fun and sun off after a long day on the lake in the spacious bathroom equipped with shower/tub, double sinks, washer/dryer, and built-in clothes drying rack. Every room in the house has a view of beautiful Claytor Lake!

Guests have access to nearly all areas in the front part of the house including fire pit, propane grill, deck, garage gym, upper boathouse complete with a game room, TV, bar, music speaker, and upper deck. We ask that guests refrain from using the backyard as the owner does have dogs on the property.

Host occupies the main house which is attached to the guesthouse by a breezeway. Two to four dogs at any given time live on the property and have access to the fenced in backyard.

Wifi is provided, however, it can be slow and affected by weather conditions due to the remote nature of the home.

Guests may use the kayaks and paddle board at their leisure. There is an additional boat slip if guests wish to bring their own watercraft.

Gatherings or parties with more people than what is on the booking is prohibited unless disclosed and approved by host prior to guests’ arrival.

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, 2 story house features sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people. Two bedrooms have king beds and the third bedroom has a full over full bunk bed. Additionally, there is one sleeper sofa, 2 couches, a sectional sofa, and a Pack n' Play available. Outdoor seating with tables for 8; large dining room table inside. The dock is provided with rental and is available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The boat lift will be used by the property owners occasionally and the rental does not include use of the owner's boat or boat lift.

The kitchen is filled with plenty of plates, drinkware, cookware, and items to make your stay comfortable including: Blender, Coffee Maker(regular and Keurig), Toaster, and Waffle Maker. The laundry room is equipped with not only the washer and the dryer but also has some cleaning supplies if needed: Broom & Dust Pan, Mop & Bucket, Swiffer & Swiffer Pads, Vacuum, Disinfecting wipes, tool bag, and first aid kit.

The house also has a Charcoal grill available for guests to use, please bring your own charcoal as we cannot be sure previous guest left any.

The LazyBass is conveniently located in the heart of the New River Valley and is just minutes from the New River Trail State Park. About 40 minutes to Virginia Tech and Radford University, 25 Minutes from Draper Valley Golf Club, 15 Minutes to Iron Heart Winery, and about 4 miles to the Boy Scout's Camp Blue Ridge Scout Reservation. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, a fall get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat.

The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. Other things to note
The water off of the dock, which has a ladder for easy access in and out of the water, is 5-7 feet deep and is great for swimming! There is a sand bar about 40ft off of the dock that keeps boats from the main channel from coming near the dock.

- Internet is available, and is a consistent connection, but speeds can vary and Streaming is very limited, but regular internet usage is usually not an issue.

The house is right on Claytor Lake and has a dock for your own private access to the water. If you are visiting for more than just the lake, you are close to many other things as well, we are about 40 minutes from Virginia Tech, 30 minutes to Radford University, 48 minutes to the New River Trail, 30 minutes from Draper Valley Golf, and located within 30 minutes of several wineries and breweries. The space
The home features three levels of living space, with four comfortable bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a range of amenities designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The main level features an open-concept living and dining area, complete with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

Step outside onto the spacious walk-out back porch, which offers stunning views of the lake and plenty of space for lounging, reading, or soaking up the sun. You can also start up a fire and roast a marshmallow in the firepit on the back patio!

The lower level features a cozy lounging area with a pull-out couch and a flat screen TV along with a bumper pool table. This space provides the perfect space for indoor entertainment on rainy days or lazy afternoons. Additionally, there are two bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom one includes a king bed along with a daybed for guests, while bedroom two has a twin-over -twin bunk and a queen bed to sleep more guests comfortably.

Feel free to use the laundry room on the lower level that is equipped with detergent and additional cleaning supplies.

Owens Oasis features four comfortable bedrooms, with sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to 12 guests.

On the main level, there is a bedroom with a king bed. Additionally, there is a full bath on this level for your convenience.

Andrew's Lake House is situated in a quiet cove across the lake from Claytor Lake State Park. This three story family house has it all. Great views of the lake from the upper open deck, swinging benches on the screened in porch on the second floor and an easy walk to the lake from the bottom floor. Down by the lake you'll find a great spot for kids to play in the shallow water and on the sandy beach along with a floating dock for jumping and swimming. Enjoy the sun setting while dining outdoors.

This property is a waterfront property. The private beach and dock are accessible for kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, jet skis, floats and all types of boats. (pontoons, speed boats and fishing boats). The private beach and dock allow for safe and secure storage of any watercraft you are enjoying on your visit. There are boats, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards and canoes available for rent on Claytor Lake. Andrew's has plenty of parking available for family celebrations. It is conveniently located within 10 minutes of Radford and 30 minutes from Blacksburg. This house is 5 miles from interstate 81 at exit 105. There is plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy resting and relaxing while dining or hanging out at the lake and fire pit.

Abigails Lake View is an amazing waterfront property located on the main body of Claytor Lake across from Claytor Lake State Park. It is 10 minutes to Radford and 30 minutes to Blacksburg, VA. Abigail's Lake View has been a popular vacation rental since 2018 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has a waterfront area for a family to swim, paddleboard, kayak and house a boat. This property is very private with an open floor plan and expansive decking for relaxing family get togethers.

Our home is a year-round, waterfront house on Claytor Lake, VA. This is our primary residence and is fully equipped for comfortable living! The 3bed 1.75 bath house is newly updated and features open concept living with 14' vaulted ceilings and a swim dock.

The space
Open concept living room/kitchen has 14 foot ceilings and a peninsula with seating for 4, as well as a central island. The house overlooks beautiful twin coves on Claytor Lake, and has a lot of glass for various views of the lake and surrounding open spaces. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bamboo or laminate flooring throughout, with exception of downstairs bedroom which is carpeted. The upper sunroom off the kitchen is surrounded by windows and houses a dining area (seating for up to 8 with table leaf inserted), sectional seating area, and has sliders out to a deck overlooking the lake. The lower sunroom overlooks the lake and has a home office desk space. The 3rd bedroom is off the lower sunroom (6 steps down from main level), overlooks the lake, and has a desk and a double bed. Up only 8 steps up from the main living area is the full bathroom at the top of the stairs and two bedrooms. The main bathroom has a new soaking tub with shower and tile surround, washer/dryer, linen closet and updated finishings. The master bedroom offers views of the lake and distant mountains, and features a bed with a queen size memory foam mattress and an en suite bath with custom walk in shower. The second bedroom has a twin bed and a new full size pullout couch.

Walk down to the water where you can dock your boat! We have an upper dock which is nice for sitting and watching sunset, and lower docks for swimming, sitting, and boating.

Guest access
The entire house is open to guests with the exception of the garage and some locked cabinets/closets, however since this is our home, our personal belongings will be present. Hanging closets are used by owners, but may have full or partial space available.

The docks are available for your use at your own risk but the boat lifts are not to be used. Please no boats larger than 20' on the floating dock. Guests assume all responsibility for use and liability to their own boats. Sorry, our insurance does not allow guest use of any of our boats or watercraft that may be present.

We welcome families however please note that our house is not completely "child-proofed," and the property has many steps, water access points, windows, decks, and deep water right from the water's edge which is not fenced off. There is a swim ladder on the floating dock to facilitate fun swimming and floating.

We do ask that you strip linens before leaving and leave the home swept and generally clean.

Sorry, we do not have TV, however we do have WIFI. We do have a small TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs, but no cable service. We recommend bringing your own movies, Firestick/Roku, and/or going into town to Sharkeys to watch the game on the big screen(s)!

There are boat launches across the lake both in and near the Claytor Lake State Park, as well as further up the lake at DeHaven park.

Other things to note
- The house is located on a quiet street, please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise levels low.
- Do not run air conditioning with doors open.
- Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out.
- Parties are not allowed, and will not be tolerated. Guests who violate quiet hours (9pm-8am) will be notified once, and then asked to leave on the second violation.
-Turn off indoor and outdoor lights when leaving the home.
-No dogs are allowed
Trash cans are located in front of porch, all trash musts be bagged. No loose trash.
-Dock can be used by guests for swimming, fishing and docking boat.
-Ping pong table is on the second floor.
