- "I was in town to visit my mom at the hospital. It was a great location, both close to the hospital and with lots of amenities nearby. The property itself was spotlessly clean and also very quiet, which I appreciated. The kitchen had all of the equipment that I needed. The mattress was a little hard but comfortable enough. The staff was friendly and helpful although I only saw them when I checked in. There are a lot of rules particularly around where you can smoke and cook, which again I appreciated. Although the property is located on a busy road it is quite far back from the road and the bedroom was on the back side of the building, so I wasn't bothered by the road noise at all. The price was really good, you might even say affordable! At least $20 a night less than the other places around that have kitchens. I would stay here again and I think it would be really good for longer term stays too."

- "What an amazing property! I've stayed at my fair share of rentals, and this one surely ranked towards the top of the list. A little tricky to navigate to, but absolutely worth it once you get to the 'top'. We spent the majority of our time outside looking over the beautiful mountain scape and Roanoke. The trails on the property were really fun to explore which was an added bonus! Cell service is spotty inside the home, but accessible outside. You can tell there's a lot of TLC that went into this special home, and we greatly appreciate Jim sharing it with us. We hated having to leave and would certainly return for another stay!"
