Pelican Point Lake Estate sits at the top of the list of private get-away properties in Texas. The house is 7,600 sq. feet with 7 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 2 half baths and will sleep 20 people comfortably (*2 additional people @ $50/per night each is allowed, for a maximum of 22) . The furnishings, decor, bed, linens, etc are designed to provide a luxury experience while yet not being too formal to relax and enjoy. There is a gourmet kitchen that is exceptional, a game room with an English Pub bar, a pool table, a poker table and a big screen TV. The outside covered patio has an outstanding grill and dining area, complemented with a gorgeous salt water pool and hot tub.

For water activities, we have 2 boat houses with lifts. Our first boat house has an exceptionally large seating area and is well furnished, including a kitchen area with a refrigerator. Our renters also have exclusive access to our second boathouse located on our nearby second lakefront property, a pretty, 3/4 acre, landscaped park recently planted with peach trees and pecan trees. Built with a modern design, the boathouse has ten foot ceilings to accommodate pro ski boats with towers and central drive propellers that require cradle lifts; it also has a super-sized jet ski lift. Nicely furnished with a refrigerator, it is ideal for happy hour and/or staging your water events.

If desired, you can bring your own ski boats and bass boats. Between our two boat houses we have the capacity to house 4 boats and 4 jet skis, allowing you to have your own floating armada with fingertip access to water sports!

For those less active, take a stroll through Pelican Point Lake Estate's tree covered gardens of azelea, dogwood and magnolia while watching the birds and other wildlife (pelicans, Canadian geese, heron, egrets, bald eagles and owls are just a few of the many birds that can be found on the property). - "The communication with the owner is absolutely top notch! I don’t think it ever took longer than 5-10 minutes to get a reply before arriving and I asked a LOT of questions. The property itself is very clean (I am super picky) and the way the owner holds onto things so loosely was an incredible testimony to me. By that, I mean our comfort in use of their food items that we maybe forgot, the willingness to get extra gas for wave runners, volunteering of their time if we found we needed pizza dough lessons- and more! Just incredible generosity and thoughtfulness but never intrusive. The pizza oven was amazing and my son got so tickled his pizza finished right at the climax of the song “My Way” by Frank Sinatra which was playing over the excellent sound system! We waffled on the extra money for the wave runners but they were the highlight of the trip so we were VERY happy we opted to do that. The only thing I will say we were not aware of (but probably should have figured out from pictures) is there is a step down to den area and the dining is outside down two steps that do not have a railing. My father in law is limited in mobility and memory so forgot the step to den once (he tripped but didn’t go down as couch right there) and was unable to eat outside. He enjoyed one of the many barstools around the island inside. I could go on and on about the rest of the good- weight room, anyone?! rain showers, cooling beds, gadgets galore, etc. We had a family of 8 and had room"

Breezy Shores Lake House is on Lake Palestine with awesome views of the lake. The boat launch is only 1/2 mile to the public boat launch. The house is 1800 sq feet with new leather furniture which faces the views of the Lake Palestine. Enjoy the large deck facing the water, one side for soaking up the sun and the other side is covered for that southern porch sitting. for catching up with family and friends. Also, a covered area to do your grilling. This property has it all and must visit property.

While it has original wood floors that show the character of the different eras, it also has a completely modern updated kitchen and baths. This house is designed for comfort, two king sized beds, huge bedrooms with black out curtains, televisions in each bedroom and the living area to a oversized comfortable couch. Master bedroom has a separate dressing and makeup room. Lounge or enjoy a meal on the front or back porch. Child size table and chairs in living area. It has a nice office area. Several plug towers so all your electronics can stay charged. Lots of parking with room for 4 wheelers and trucks.

Her property had enough room to accommodate a boat trailer and we were even able to park it under the cover. The house is huge! Enough room for the boys to be able to spread out each night after fishing all day. One concern we always jave pulling a boat through neighborhoods is the roads, the roads to and from the house are perfect woth no issues. The location is within 10 minutes of any boat lauch from mid lake to the dam. If Lake Palestine is ever in our circuit again, we will definitely be booking this location. Ms. Linda is very sweet and accommodating! Any questions or issues we had, she was very prompt in responding!"

Overlooking the water, this home has been renovated inside and out! It sits at the end of a quiet circle and is a 3B2.5B home with a beautiful master ensuite and a porch that extends across the back of the entire property. We have a firepit area and lots of wood for guests to use. Please note that the back deck is open and may not be safe for small children.

There is a boat dock so you can park your boat at the house.

We do allow pets, however there is a $100 pet fee per stay.

Our tiny home has a fenced in back yard for your fur baby to roam. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck sipping your coffee and watching the sun rise over Lake Palestine. The home has everything you would want with a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, two bedrooms, and a nice size area to visit in. The dock is an awesome way to enjoy your water toys. This is a great way to spend the weekend and unwind visit us on Lake Palestine today.

Come relax at our waterfront property directly on Lake Palestine! Enjoy the whole three bedroom house to yourself, which comes fully stocked and comfortable. Lounge on the large shaded deck overlooking the lake, or roast marshmallows at the fire pit. The dock has excellent fishing and you have direct swimming access. Feeling more adventurous? Bring or rent a boat and tie up directly to the dock. The lake is massive and is great for water skiing/tubing, cruising, fishing, and swimming.

We use the property ourselves, and wanted to include everything we would use on vacation. Two rooms each have king beds, one room has two queens, and there is a pull out couch which allows sleeping up to 10 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with the essential cooking tools you might need. The large deck has a full table that seats six, with a lounging area to take in the gorgeous views of the lake.

You are only ~20 minute drive from the Tyler area, which has excellent food and entertainment options. Interested in antique shopping? If so, there are many opportunities in the adjacent small towns.

Need groceries? The drive to a Brookshires grocery story is less than 10 minutes away. There is also a Dollar General and Family Dollar ~5 minutes away.

*** There are four external cameras on the property for security: one facing the gate, one in the parking area, one on the right side of the house and a camera on the deck (this one has audio recording turned off). It is against our house rules to disconnect the internet connection. ***

*** When using the charcoal grill, be mindful of the flame + canopy. When using the chimney starter, put it on the lowest grate in the grill since it can have higher flames. ***

*** During growing season, we have the property mowed every two weeks on Wednesday after 9 AM. Usually doesn't take more than an hour. ***

*** Fire wood and charcoal are not provided. ***

*** Hot water is limited, based on the size of the water heater we can fit. Avoid long hot showers so you don't run out of hot water. ***

*** During the shoulder seasons and winter, we will take down the sun shades because of the wind. ***

* Normal checkout is at 10 AM. Fishing tournaments are usually done by 3PM, which means you will have to get packed up and checkout by the time you leave on the last day of the tournament. If you need a later checkout than 12 PM, you will need to reserve that night at the property.
* We have one outlet you can use on the deck. I suggest bringing a 25' extension cord if you need to use it.

- "Overall this is a very nice place to rent. Booking was slightly confusing since VRBO was a third party. Actual payment has to go to the property management company separately. Great access to the lake for fishing or swimming from the dock. Dock could use some kind of shade/roof as it's in full sun almost all day until evening. Inside is very nice, but could use some more supplies for guests to use to keep things clean inside. We couldn't find a broom or mop, etc. There was a push broom on the balcony which came in handy to sweep off all the bugs that ended up on the balcony overnights.The outside of the building could use some cleaning. The yard was immaculate, but the house was coated with dust and cobwebs. Nothing a good pressure washing couldn't fix. :)Overall, we were happy with our 5 day stay."

This unique place has a style all its own. This is an old cabin we have decided to let other people enjoy how unique this place is. It’s back to the basics in a not so basic way. You’ll come here to detach from all the noise and just enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful backyard, grill hang out by the fire pit, eat dinner outside on the covered deck. The propane grill features a side burner to cook outside as well as grilling a couple of steaks.

The Modern Farmhouse Lakeview Suite is a newly remodeled suite on a farm with sunset lake views and other amenities. Welcome to our lakefront studio cabin nestled in 10 acres of picturesque piney woods on Lake Palestine! Unwind in this retreat with an amazing view and beach access for swimming or fishing. Our cozy cabin features a comfortable king-sized bed with a futon couch. While our home is located right next door, the cabin is separate, providing you with private space. There is plenty to do in the area including Canton Trade Days, the Piney Woods Wine Trail, or lake activities.

The space
This quaint cabin features one spacious room with a plush king-sized bed and a comfortable futon sofa that can be easily converted into an additional sleeping space. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen including an island, allowing you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. For entertainment, there's a dart board where you can challenge your companions to a friendly game.

As part of your stay, you'll have exclusive access to swimming at the sandy beach on our neighboring property. Just a stone's throw away from the cabin, this beach offers a serene setting for swimming and soaking up the sun. The gradual slope into the water makes it perfect for both adults and children to enjoy a refreshing dip in Lake Palestine. We also provide our guests with two kayaks for use on the lake.

Warm up by the wood-burning fireplace on cooler evenings, or the fire pit located on the back porch. There is an A/C window unit for the hot summer days.

The bathroom includes a unique step-up design for access to the toilet and shower. While the step is not that high, it could be difficult for someone with accessibility needs.

The cabin is separate from the main house and offers tranquility with sweeping views of Lake Palestine. The property is a total of 10 acres, which you are welcome to explore or walk the dirt road. Guests will have access to our private beach next door for swimming, fishing or boat access. We have two kayaks for your use that are great to launch from the beach.

We have also had guests use the cabin for working during the day, which is easy from the dining room table and you will have an amazing view. However this is a rural area and while WIFI can support even gaming, you may experience a drop in service or lower speeds than in the City.

The cabin is a studio with one main room. The cabin is down a 1/4 mile road through the Piney Woods to Lake Palestine. Our home is separate but next door. The Cabin is accessed separately with a lock box and key. There is a back porch on the cabin to enjoy the lake view with a fire pit and a BBQ grill. Guests also have access to our private beach next door, but not to the boat dock or boat slips.

Other things to note
There is plenty of room to park a boat at our home and there is a free boat ramp by the dam 10 minutes from our home. The boat dock and and boat slips are for owner's use only.

We also own the vacant property to the west of our home. Your are welcome to use the beach on that property during your stay.

We have a security camera at the dock and for front door of cabin.
