This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a perfect getaway that accomodates 3-5 people comfortably. You'll love the one-acre lot and the beautiful view of of the lake across the street. You will probably see deer, herons, eagles and other wildlife especially during early mornings and dusk. There's beauty here all four seasons!

Monticello, Indiana, is a quaint little town that has plenty of restaurants and things to do. It's about a half-hour from Lafayette, home of Purdue University, 90 minutes northwest of Indianapolis and two hours from Chicago.

Our favorite activities in the area: Parks, Delphi Trails, White Horse Winery, Indiana Beach, Purdue University sporting events, Drive-In Movie Theater, Wolf Park, Tippecanoe Country Club, and Festivals.

There's plenty of recreational items to borrow: Two kayaks, two bikes, hammocks, gas grill, cornhole boards and bags, and other games. And did we mention there's your own private Pickleball Court nestled in the woods?! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with great views.

In the evenings we recommend relaxing around the firepit and walking across the street to see beautiful sunsets over the lake. We'll even chop some wood for you.

There's comfortable living spaces with great views from every room. We have Netflix, Youtube TV and Wifi but hope you don't use them too much when you're here. All the bedrooms are spacious and there's a full bathroom on each floor.

The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking but there's plenty of great restaurants around too. Many of them have entertainment such as live music, karaoke, and trivia contests.

I am one of a group of 8 college friends who vacation together every summer along with our kids, but this being the 10th year of vacationing together, we decided to do a trip without the kids and this was the perfect spot for our group. We took advantage of all the incredible amenities at this place—hot tub, fire pit, boat dock (easily rented a pontoon for a day from the boat rental place directly across from the property), screened-in porches, gas grill, floats and pool noodles for swimming, even nice robes for lazy mornings spent reading, drinking coffee, and playing board games. The kitchen was well-stocked with all of the appliances we needed to cook our meals at the house. Heidi is a very attentive host and the house has so many little things to make it more comfortable, such as sound machines in the bedrooms and dimmers on almost all of the light switches. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while enjoying the lake and time together with friends… now we just have to bring the kids back to enjoy it with us!"

We didn't like the rain shower shower head personally, but that is the current style. Two bedrooms did not have closet or anything to put clean clothes in, and not alot of room for bags on floors. Only one bathroom was a bit of a struggle for the large group. Window air conditioners were nice in upstairs bedrooms to help regulate the temp (as heat rises). Lots of parking, exp since we bring a trailer load of toys. Great location...easy walk to amusement park."

There are a couple of restaurants with boat docks on the lake, just take the boat to dinner instead of driving! Afterwards, troll the lake and you may find live entertainment you can enjoy from the water. Boat fee is $400.00/day, discounted to $368.00/day for guests. Rentals for 3 days or more are discounted even further!

A peaceful retreat for those who would like to get away from the hectic work week or city life. The cozy interior of this cottage is welcoming and comfortable for traveling guests to feel right at home. Our family friendly bedrooms are comfortable for up to 8 when the full size suspended bed & twin upper bunk is used. Otherwise, forget the suspended bed & upper bunk and the bedrooms are great for 6 adults (2 per bedroom) who want more private sleeping arrangements! Smart TVs in every bedroom plus living area. Ultra fast WIFI and Xfinity Cable. Fully stocked open concept kitchen includes coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and Splenda in addition to Olive Oil and most cooking Spices. We even supply insulated cups to keep your beverages cold! Indoor dining seats 8. Playstation 4 and multiple board games available for rainy days! Speaking of rainy days, there is a 12 x 16 screened gazebo on the deck with outside dining, a propane fire table & conversation area along with a propane grill (propane included for the fire table and grill). There is a 2024 Pontoon available to rent at an extra charge discounted for guests who rent our home! Boat fee is $400.00/day discounted to $368.00/day for our guests. Rentals for 3 days or more are discounted even further! Our boats are for rent to experienced boaters only but we also have a Captain's Tour package available so you can enjoy your time on the water and the SANDBAR without a care in the world!
