Marlboro Beach Road Cottage is a quaint little cottage lovingly cared for by the owners. The property features amazing ocean views, as well as views of Mount Desert Island, and is just a short 5 minute walk to beautiful Marlboro Beach in the coastal town of Lamoine, Maine. Featuring two bedrooms and one full bath, this cottage has everything you need to enjoy summer in Maine! The cottage is within minutes to two beautiful beaches and a 25-minute drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

- "Check in process was smooth and seamless. Cute older house. It was very neat and tidy when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to do your own cooking. You may want to. There are only a couple of places to go eat and they are 15-20 minutes away. There were plenty of towels. The toiletries offered weren’t enough for 2 people for 3 days. Just one travel size each of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The travel size bath bar got us through the last day. The couch is older and uncomfortable to sit on as the padding was gone. They had some tourist pamphlets there for our convenience which was nice. I found the master bedroom mattress uncomfortable. Very hard and I don’t mind a firm mattress. My husband didn’t mind it because he has a bad back. We enjoyed watching he deer eat apples from the tree out front. Marlboro beach around the corner was beautiful to visit. Communication was easy with our host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

Completely redone in 2016, this house comfortably accommodates 9 people and can sleep 10 with a role away bed and is equipped with three full bathrooms. Here you can enjoy easy mornings and cozy nights while maintaining a comfortable inviting living space for you, your friends and loved ones to share.

The newly added second story master bedroom contains a walk-in closet leading to the private bathroom and has a more spectacular views. There is a lovely dining room attached to the kitchen and living room and the other bedrooms are set just down the hall with the other two restrooms. This property has amenities such as the use of two kayaks, a large gas grill and a wide long deck that lets you relax and enjoy the sunset and sunrise over Cadillac Mountain, or watch the cruise ships as they sail into Bar Harbor for the day. Take a walk down the beach where there is an old boat landing on a public beach, or take a short walk up the road to Lamoine State Park to enjoy the activity there, as boaters and fishermen enter and exit the waters of Frenchman's Bay and children play on the play ground.

The property is also available for those special events in the spring and fall if you are looking for million dollar views on a quite 3-acre lot right on the ocean with a walkable beach.

Welcome to Seabrook - secluded ocean front cabin with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. The cabin has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove. Outside the property has an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Cabin sits near the shore and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. Ellsworth is within 10 mins for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.

An open floor plan, rough cut timbers and hardwood floors provide a very cozy cabin feel. Outside the property has a large open deck with a southern view of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. A short walk down to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Rent both properties and save $100.00 on each rental.

- "This was such a Maine Camp getaway. Incredibly quiet, creek out back, SCREENED PORCH, comfy beds. The wifi was good. We did use the air conditioning a few times but it was never hot. Being familiar with the area, we only ventured to Bar Harbor 1 day and made sure to be in the queue to leave the island by 4pm. We did not use the little Seaside cabin but looked at it and it was absolutely adorable. Being in the woods as it is, we would recommend bringing some additional lights or battery lanterns to brighten the house's dark corners after dark. The washer and dryer work great and the shower has good pressure. We visited Reny's, Bean outlet and Blueberry Hill in Ellsworth/Bangor, went to Timber Tina's lumberjack show, Marlintini's in Blue Hill for turkey dinner on Tuesdays and Blunts Pond. Other than that, it was just the spot to recharge before returning home. Thank you Nate and Becky"

The house is well appointed with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated in a coastal theme. The view from the main bedroom upstairs is breathtaking in the morning, you do not have to get out of bed to enjoy it. It's equally dramatic on the first level and there are plenty of spots in the house to sit and read and still enjoy the view of the water. The screened in area would be a huge bonus when the bugs are out, fortunately the rain and cool temperatures kept them at bay for our visit. The waterfront/beach area can be accessed by a long set of stairs down to the water. It is very private and while there are a few neighbors, you don't really see the homes through the foliage. It really is a beautiful location."

Hodgkins' House is located on beautiful Frenchman Bay overlooking the mountains of Acadia. A 25 minute drive could have you on a whale watch boat, golf at Kebo, or on your way up Cadillac Mountain to be the first to see the sun rise. Ten minutes to go cart rides, water park, mini golf, movies and Bird's Acre. For the shopper in every family there is an LL Bean outlet,Reny's Marden's Atlantic Art Glass and lots of little antique shops and home made ice cream places. Relax on the lush lawns with a game of badminton, croquet or make s'mores over your firepit as the sun sets on the bay. Families can have quality time together or have the space to spread out and enjoy alone time. Play games on the screened in sun porch or relax on the day bed with a good read. This home is within 5 minutes of 3 beaches, Lamoine State Park and Lamoine Beach and fresh water Blunt's Pond. Air Conditioned in the living room.

Enjoy this beautiful 1990 constructed post and beam home nestled in the woods on a private five acre retreat. This home has cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, an open floor plan with lots of windows. The first floor bedroom has a queen-size bed and views through the woods to the water. There is a half-bath on the first floor. Walk upstairs to a private, spacious loft with two twin beds and a full bathroom. Watch the change of the water on this tidal cove (11 ft tidal change). Swim at high tide off granite ledges and enjoy low tide walks along the shoreline. Your stay includes all bed linens and bath towels.

It is important to arrive at your vacation rental without any huge surprises, so let me tell you a bit more about the place.

The house is 1200 square feet, located 1/2 mile down a dirt road. You cannot see another house from our house. There is a washer/dryer but not a dishwasher. There is a DVD/VHS player but no regular television stations. There is wifi internet connection at the house. There is a forced hot air Rinnai heater, as well as a woodstove. The water is only 120 feet away from the deck. At high tide there is 11 feet of water, and at low tide there are mudflats. The town of Ellsworth is 6 miles away and has 2 large grocery stores, shopping, movies, and restaurants.

Our rentals run Saturday to Saturday.

We have a limit of 4 people sleeping at the house, and we do not allow pets.

Acadia National Park is a treasure to explore. The Schoodic Peninsula area of Acadia is more remote, less traveled, yet equally as spectacular as the Mount Desert Island area. This rental house is a 30 minute drive from each of these Acadia National Park locations.

The Space.
The house was designed with adventure seeking travelers in mind. On the first floor guests have access to two queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A new second floor bedroom with a king size bed is a welcome expansion to accommodate larger groups. Our oversized family room is a perfect space to relax, read, watch some television on a big screen, or play a board game with the family! The full kitchen, with many upgraded amenities, stone countertops, gas range, and dishwasher, gives you the perfect space to cook or visit some of our favorite restaurants less than 15 minutes away. A large well-lit deck gives you a tranquil spot to sip your morning coffee and hopefully catch a peek at some woodland visitors. Our washer and dryer are neatly tucked away in the entryway and are essential for washing up after your many outdoor adventures.

Area Adventures.
Are you a swimmer? Great! You'll find that the Lamoine Public Beach and State Park are only 4 miles away and offer expansive beach, for swimming, sea glass combing, or kayaking! More of a Lake swimmer? No problem, there are several ponds and lakes situated about 18 miles away to the Hulls Cove Visitor Entrance at Acadia National Park, or check out one of our local favorites, Donnell Pond, for a quiet sandy lake swim and convenient mountain hiking. Need a quick morning walk. The Frenchmen Bay Conservatory's Simon Trail is situated right across the road and offers a 1 mile loop with an abundance of ferns and mushrooms to view.

Boy, we were we wrong! This property has a PERFECT location, especially during the summer when tourists take over the park. You are close enough (30 minutes or less depending on traffic) to the park but far enough away to escape the madness that is Bar Harbor. Likewise, you are close to Ellsworth, which has great restaurants with no waits. And the property? Gorgeous. It is probably the first VRBO we ever stayed at that looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Clean, modern, perfect for families. I am a self-avowed VRBO snob and I absolutely loved this place. Yeah, a half bath upstairs would be nice but it's really a small quibble. Paige and Katie are super accessible and really have all your travel bases covered. Brava!"

- "This welcoming home was private, spacious and impeccably clean. Our family of 10 enjoyed the private beach in front of the home, the beautiful views, beach combing , kayaking and much more. The immediate area offered plenty to do and supermarkets and restaurants were nearby. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were awesome and they were about a half hour away. The kids loved all the toys and the piano in the house. Our hostess was extremely helpful and well informed about the area. Highly recommended."

Cape Style Home, with air conditioning, that has been freshly painted throughout with brand new kitchen and granite countertops. Two living rooms with a gas fireplace in one of them. Freshly painted deck off the living room with above ground pool. Walk from living room to pool within two steps. There are two bedrooms upstairs (One has queen sized bed and the other has full sized bed) , along with a partially finished basement which has a big bedroom with a queen sized bed and big closet. There are beautiful gardens and a private backyard.
