- "Cute old inn, well kept and clean. Claw foot tub, old style lock and key on doors, but modern bed and sheets - very comfortable. Blueberry muffins in the morning were a definite bonus! Would definitely recommend" - "My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and really enjoyed our time here! It has a “homey” feel to it, and the service is great. The hosts provide breakfast items every day, along with delicious organic coffee. Housekeeping is prompt and efficient. The hosts even let us borrow items like umbrellas. Everyone is all-around pleasant and respectful. This inn, resembling Old Maine so well, is beautiful and stationed in Northeast Harbor, which is one of the less busy areas on Mount Desert Island. You can get to anywhere you need within a reasonable driving distance, without dealing with the same traffic that the other areas (like Bar Harbor) can bring. Stay here; you won’t regret it!"

- "Great location and small, but perfect, for what we needed!" - "Place was super clean and comfy. Highly recommend!" - "Location, location, location! Not only did this cute cabin meet all our needs and wants, it is perfectly nestled against the park. Walk into Acadia or take a short drive to all your ANP and island destinations. Thanks, Rob and Marge. We truly enjoyed our stay." - "When planning a trip to Acadia with my kids, I didn’t really know where to stay. I was fortunate to stumble upon this little cabin in Southwest Harbor. If you’re looking for frills, this isn’t your place, but with a location as perfect as this cabin, you don’t need them. The inside is cozy and met our needs well. The outdoor area is beautiful and has a grill, picnic table and plenty of yard space for the kids to play. The property backs right up to the park, so you can venture out on a nature walk right from the cabin. The location is great! It’s very quiet and peaceful and set back from town, so there’s no neighboring noise. Southwest Harbor is a quaint little town, which had a pace I preferred much more than that of Bar Harbor. All the hikes we went on were 30 minutes or less of a drive. The furthest we went was to Schoodic Point and that was about an 80 minute drive. There is a beautiful lake in Southwest Harbor that offers slightly warmer swimming water than the ocean offers. This was a wonderful place to hang our hats after long days in the park and definitely a place I’d recommend to others."

I always do laundry on vacation and the stacked appliances were great!" - "We loved our stay at Rob’s cabin. Perfect setup for our family of 5. Loft was the perfect “bedroom” for the kids. Walking to Acadia’s trails without having to get in the car was fantastic for our first day. Mattresses were comfy and the cabin was adequately stocked with supplies, cookware, and linens. Our only suggestions for future guests would be some glass ware for drinks and board games to play on rainy days or evenings.
