3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.

A "Little Bit" of God's Country is a small one floor cabin that is ideal for one person or a couple. The cabin is a one bedroom featuring a queen size bed. We named our cabin A "Little Bit" of God's Country because we want to share just a little bit on the glorious mountain that our little cabin sits on. We have enjoyed coming to the mountains to get away for over 30 years and made so many amazing memories. I hope your experience is just as amazing. The cabin is located 100 feet from the ATV and snowmobile trails, the Pennsylvania Rail Trail, near hiking trails, and a short drive from many state parks. There are many great eating establishments close by. We offer an well equipped kitchen or the opportunity to cook over an open fire.

Our rustic cabin is nestled in the town of Waterville within walking distance to everything the town has to offer. The cabin is bordered by the stocked trout waters of the Little Pine Creek in the back and the beautiful Pine Creek Rail Trail on the side. Views of both the creek and the rail trail bridge are enjoyed from the back deck. We provide propane, a gas grill, a gas Blackstone griddle, and a stocked pile of firewood to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. 6 Adirondack chairs are available for use on the deck, around the fire, or sitting by (or in!) the creek.

Fishing, kayaking, and tubing can be enjoyed on the Little Pine, or you may take the short walk down the street and use the public easement to access the Pine Creek.

Walking from the cabin you can easily get to the Historic Waterville Hotel, McConnells General Store and the beautiful Waterville community park.

Little Pine State Park and the Haneyville ATV Trails are both just a short drive from Waterville, as well as the numerous access points along the Pine Creek for fishing, kayaking & tubing.

This cabin is rustic in feel however it does have running water as well as a full bathroom. We also provide reliable high speed internet and a streaming TV complete with a Youtube TV subscription in the living room. You will also enjoy the peace of mind provided by our automatic whole-house generator for any power outages.

The location of the cabin is also great for attending Penn State home games if you're looking for an affordable stay outside of state college. Beaver Stadium is 55 miles away and easily accessed by Route 220/I-80. We are happy to help with any Penn State questions regarding tickets, parking, tailgating etc!

Cell phone service varies depending on carrier and is very spotty. The convenient location of the property also means that it is close to Route 44, so if vehicle noise is a problem for you please be aware of that.

Security cameras are located outside the house due to the remote nature of the location. They will not be monitored unless there is an issue.

Begin each day by enjoying a cup of coffee from the Keurig while rocking on the screened-in porch and spotting wildlife across the creek, including deer, bald eagles, and the occasional bear. Load up the bikes for a spin on the Rails to Trails, or take a paddle in one of our kayaks. Hop down the stairs to the creek and take a dip in the swimming hole, or try your hand at fishing or catching crayfish. Feeling less adventurous? One of our favorite past times is simply pulling up a chair and watching people cruise down the creek each day in their kayaks. When dinner time rolls around, sip a cocktail and prepare dinner in the kitchen, or grill some steaks on our gas grill. Eat right outside at the picnic table, enjoying the priceless view. Don't feel like cooking? Try out some of the delicious local eateries, including our favorite--Santino's Italian Cuisine, located a short walk up the driveway. Take advantage of our 1-acre property in the evening by playing some of the many lawn games available at the cabin, including cornhole and ladder golf. When evening rolls around, it's time to get the campfire going, and pull up a chair around the fire pit. We provide the firewood, and have plenty of equipment for making smores, mountain pies, or roasting weenies. Stargazing is also a highlight, and if the sky is clear, you will be certain to spot some shooting stars. The evening is the perfect time to enjoy a beer and conversation while looking down over the creek and roasting a s'mores. After a busy day, the perfect ending is dozing off with the mountain breeze coming through the windows, and the sound of the babbling creek below. On a rainy day, take some time to check out the books and board games around the house, or journey to one of the neighboring towns to do some wine tasting or to explore the world-renowned Little League World Series Museum in South Williamsport. **Our cabin was purchased as a retreat to enjoy time with family and friends, and to slow down and unwind. As such, we do not have television, internet, or cell signal on the property. No matter what activities you choose to do during your visit, we know you will have a great time. We provide the linens, bath towels, and even some towels for the creek..all you have to bring is yourself! This property is locally-owned, and the owners are readily available in the unlikely event that any problems would arise during your stay.

Great hunting, fishing, hiking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, bicycling or just relax and enjoy great view of mountain scenery. Half hour to Hyner View State park. 90 minutes to PA. Elk herd in Benezette, 30 minutes to Pine Creek rail trail (62 miles of well groomed trail) that goes from Jersey Shore to PA Grand Canyon. 30 minutes to ATV / snowmobile groomed trail that goes all the way to New York. Good cell phone service. Good TV reception via antenna on roof. DVD player with good selection of DVD's. Internet available via your mobile phone hot spot. Good signal with Verizon and AT&T. Lesser with other services.

Terry had lots of indoor activities available for the times we were stuck in the cabin on rainy days and there were plenty of large rooms to spread out when we needed space. The new HVAC system heated the cabin nicely since it was still cool in early May, to us Floridians. This would definitely be an ideal location for a relaxing getaway when the weather is perfect for sitting outside on one of the covered porches enjoying a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate. There was a fireplace outside that would have been perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Welcome to our charming Central PA retreat! This converted garage is flooded with natural light, featuring two twin beds downstairs and a king-size bed in the loft. Conveniently situated between State College and Lock Haven, it's an ideal base for exploring. Come experience our cozy hideaway!
The space
We built our house in an old mechanics shop. We did all the work ourselves and built a space that we really enjoy. The property features a large glass garage door that can be opened in the summer months, tons of natural light and radiant heat in the floor.

The kitchen is full sized and the bathroom features a large walk in shower. The downstairs sleeping area has two twin beds and desks, the space can be separated by a curtain for some privacy.

The upstairs loft has a king sized bed with a memory foam mattress. The loft is accessed by a ladder that pulls out from the wall.

There are board games, coffee and lots of peace and quiet.

We have worked from home from this house. The internet is not perfect in this area, but we have made it work for zoom calls when necessary.

Our house is not pet free. We have a wonderful little Australian Cattle Dog named Austen. You probably noticed her in the pics. She's a great pup. But she does shed a lot, so expect some pet hair dander.

My husband and I grew up coming to this area of Pennsylvania and have fallen in love with the beauty of the outdoors that this area boasts. Our family loves kayaking, tubing, canoeing and fishing the Pine Creek, walking and biking on the 62 mile Pine Creek Trail, visiting McConnell’s Country Store for soft serve ice cream, subs and sandwiches, t-shirts and fishing tackle, going to the Mountaintop Provisions for the meal with the best smoked meat around and more. There is so much to do to fill your time in this area, but it is also the perfect place to sit back, unwind and relax if you need some time to slow down. Most of the folks who live in this area, live here because of the peaceful beauty of the outdoors and for the privacy of being away from people. Please respect our neighbors desire for privacy and avoid trespassing onto their land.

The best time for boating / kayaking the pine creek is March - May. Water levels tend to be lower in the summer making it more difficult to float.

This stylish 2 bedroom getaway has been fully renovated and professionally decorated. We took an old trailer and transformed it into a cozy stay near the Pine Creek Gorge, one of our favorite areas to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Just 20 miles north of Lock Haven, this location is a peaceful retreat with an unforgettable view. During your stay, there is a high chance of encountering wildlife of some kind when sitting on the covered back deck.

With nearby access to ATV and Snowmobile trails, the Pine Creek Gorge and Pine Creek Trail you’ll have plenty of options for activities no matter what season you choose. While we love the area and the activities available, we can also appreciate a quiet weekend in without the need to go on any adventures. This is why we’ve fully stocked the cabin with plenty of games, books, a 55” Roku TV with a DVD player and tons of classic movies, Starlink Internet access, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating.

The bedrooms are on either end of the cabin with the living room, dining room and kitchen in the center. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking & dining, including plenty of coffee mugs to enjoy your morning cup of coffee out on the covered deck or inside on the couch watching the snow fall over the mountain.

Between both living room areas, there are three couches, providing plenty of options for where to sit to enjoy a cup of tea and read a book, or to watch old movies all weekend. One of the couches is a Koala Queen Sofa Bed that unfolds and can sleep two. This is a perfect bed for kids!

Both of the bedrooms have comfortable beds with Organic bedding from Quince and Threshold - because we sincerely believe that even a cabin in the middle of nowhere should have good bedding.

There are two full baths, one in the hallway off the living room and one en suite off of the master bedroom. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the master bathroom has a handicap accessible shower.

There are two sliding glass doors in the main living area leading out onto a covered deck with lounge seating and an outdoor dining table. There is a Blackstone Griddle for outdoor cooking. The deck overlooks a beautiful view of the mountain.

Cell Service can be limited depending on your carrier. - please plan accordingly for your navigation to the cabin. We do have WiFi at the cabin. We are able to stream with the WiFi, but it occasionally cuts in and out - a reality of WiFi in the woods. While there is a wood stove in the living room, we unfortunately do not allow guests to use it for liability reasons. However, we have a fire pit area outside which is perfect for campfires and s’mores!

Please note that this house is surrounded by woods and nature, which means that bugs are very normal and in most cases harmless. We work hard to keep the cabin clean, but we would be naive to think that bugs won't make it inside with people coming and going throughout their stay. Keeping the doors closed will help to keep the bugs out, but we want guests to understand that when you stay in the mountains surrounded by woods, bugs and wildlife are inevitable.

There are ponds on the property that are stocked with bass and trout. It is a catch and release program so please use barb-less hooks and return the fish to water as soon as possible. There are lots of trails for hiking, bicycling, and snowmobiling. Some guests enjoy bird watching, roasting hot dogs over the campfire on the patio or just relaxing on the rocking chairs on the front porch. Additional activities with a fee is the 9 hole executive golf course and we also have ATVs for rent (must be kept on the property). Firewood is available at $10.00 a barrel.
We provide an allergy free environment for guests so no pets are allowed.

Situated on approx. 53 acres, this older home is a diamond that needs a little polish. Clean and spacious inside, the main floor offers:

Laurel Lodge is a 3500 square foot cabin nestled in the Sproul State Forest. Close to snowmobile and ATV trails and about 10 minutes to Pine Creek. There is a large kitchen with granite countertops, the custom Cabinents are Rustic Hickory and the appliances are commercial grade by Z line. There is adequate seating around the island and a large dining room table that seats 10- the table is a live edge maple table. There is a custom coffee bar located in the kitchen. The family room features a wood burning fire place and a Smart Tv. The ceilings are 20 ft high. There are large windows in the space. There are 5 bedrooms each with a smart tv, large closets and a queen bed. There are 2 full bathrooms each bathroom has a waterfall spigot, closet, and a custom vanity. The petrified vessel sinks were imported from Germany. There is a half bath on first floor.
There is a large family room with a large screen smart tv located on ground level.
Outdoor spaces include a covered front porch, a covered back patio, a covered back deck. Guests can spend time around the fire pit roasting marshmallows or just socializing.

The guest will have access to the entire house except for the first floor pantry and first floor bedroom.

This is a non smoking house and a nonsmoking property. We ask that the guests observe quiet hours 10 pm- 8 am, observe the speed limit in the development (15 mph) which is closely monitored by our neighbors and their cameras. We are available to answer questions, and to address concerns.

2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. Sleeps 8. All new kitchen appliances and LVP flooring throughout. Close to Pine creek gorge, 62 mile groomed bike rail trail, PA grand canyon, Hyner View state park. Great for hiking, biking, ATV’s, kayaking, hunting, fishing, or just sit on the porch and enjoy nature. Minimum age to rent is 25.
