Charming 1905 craftsman home located in the historic Edison district of Centralia. Located walking distance to historic downtown shops and restaurants. This home combines tasteful updates and charming old word character with many of the original details preserved. This house is listed on the historic homes walking tour of Centralia. Come relax by the fire and take in all this city has to offer while being transported back in time. Early check in is an additional $50 when available.

- "Older updated home w original woodwork and built-ins. 4 bedrooms all w queen beds, comfortable w nice bedding and pillows. 3 Bedrooms and full bath upstairs, full bath on main floor off kitchen. One bedroom and extra bonus living room in basement with outdoor access. Fireplace in main and down living areas, we didn’t use. TVs in main living areas only. Had all tools necessary to cook for 6, basic supplies but in good/new condition. Only salt, pepper, and olive oil offered. Hotel size shampoo etc. nice and plenty of towels offered. No blow dryer. Some ongoing repairs/maintenance going on but house was fully functional and very comfortable. Would have enjoyed a bbq and patio furniture but it wasn’t available at the time. Patio project in works that will be nice when done. Great neighborhood and very close to Sports Hub venue. We enjoyed walks in neighborhood looking at historical houses. Felt very safe and quiet. Upstairs guests did hear the train a few times at night, earplugs are offered although we didn’t see until day we left. An easy flat walk to downtown took about 10-15 min. Several choices to eat within walking distance. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Would rent again. Host very easy to communicate/work with and quick response."

Whatever brings you to the center of the universe a.k.a. Centralia, this little house is close to it. With easy off-street parking and access to I5. The house is old(123yrs) but with some modern touches like nice windows, insulation and A/C, rain or shine the house is cozy with tons of natural light coming in. THE COTTAGE SITS ON A BUSY STREET. Being well insulated, the house is pretty quiet inside usually but we all know "load exhaust guy" will always ruin the mood.
The cottage was built in 1900, boasting 450 sq ft of living space. . The A/C works really well on those hot summer days and keeps the whole house in paradise temperatures during the coldest nights of winter.

We love art and hope you do too. Having an antique shop in Centralia called the Shady Lady, there is never a shortage of cool things to decorate the house with.

Follow the tips left by the host. Great town for walking around & peaking in and out of shops. You do have to be able to do stairs though. The music store downstairs is friendly and accommodating. The space is 625 sq ft. and located on the second floor of the home, accessible through a private entrance at the front of the house, and up a set of stairs. The space contains a living room and couch, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and mini kitchen. The first floor of the house is occupied but separated from the second floor by a door that is key locked from both sides for security, allowing the upstairs to be private.

The house is along a main road, so some of the outside road noise is evident inside.

Kitchen: The kitchen is small, but can cook simple meals. Amenities include a sink, microwave, single induction burner, mini fridge, pans, silverware, cupboards and storage shelving, plates, bowls, cups, tea, and a Keurig with a few pods for morning coffee.

Wireless internet is available. There is no television or cable tv provided.
