A beautiful Lindal Cedar Home with Australian Cypress floors and an open concept floor plan. The walk to the dock is fairly level, and there you will find 110 feet of waterfront on a beautiful deep water cove that is located across the lake from the State Park. Your vacation home is located on the public side of Lake Anna, giving you access to marinas, and several restaurants located on the water. Swimming in this lake is comfortable all summer long. Our dock has room for your boat.

Our home sleeps 6 people designed especially for families. We rent to people 25 or older. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom and the other bathroom is located downstairs. We have a large 50 inch Smart TV in the Great Room, and we have provided a canoe and 7 kayaks for your enjoyment. We have also provided a gas grill for those of you who enjoy grilling. There is also a fire pit.

You'll be just a few minutes from a Food Lion Grocery store, a Chinese Restaurant, Subway and Big Cheese Pizza! You'll find more restaurants and shopping and wineries nearby, with some right on the water. Kings Dominion is only an hour away. Boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming and more right off your dock! Shopping, movies, bowling, antiquing and more are available in nearby Culpepper, Charlottesville or Fredericksburg, all within a 45 minute drive.

Location
Vista Place offers a serene cove setting on the main lake, providing the perfect mix of peaceful swimming and beautiful lake activity views. The private side of Lake Anna is quieter, with no public marinas—fuel must be brought in portable containers.

You’ll also find local hiking, wineries, and golf nearby (ask about access to the private Cutalong Golf Club).

The Neighborhood
The community is one of the best communities on the lake. You have a community swimming pool, tennis courts and playset. Please be respectful of common areas. You will enjoy access to all including the boat launch. Enjoy walking and hiking on open traffic-free roads. No Fireworks are allowed.

Getting Around
Located five minutes from a grocery store (via car). Car is a must. Many local places to visit.

3 Laundry detergent and dryer sheets - We provide laundry detergent for your use but if you have a favorite, bring it.
4. Coffee: We have two machines (a traditional drip coffeemaker and a Keurig K-cup machine). If you drink coffee you will need to bring ground coffee for the traditional brewer or K-cups for the Keurig.
5. Any food, drinks and spices or other ingredients (e.g sugar or flour) that you'll need for your stay - we highly recommend picking up graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars and making s'mores by the fire pit
6. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and other personal toiletries (we have a hair dryer located in the master bath).
7. Lake beach towels: While you'll find bath towels at the house for your use, you'll need to bring along your own towels for the lake, beach.
8. Life jackets - to ensure that you have proper fitting life jackets we recommend you bring your own for safety. We do have life jackets in the boathouse for convenience but can not guarantee that they will be in proper working order and/or not lost from previous guests. You are responsible for the safety of your party.

5. Trash pick up at the house. Trash and recyclables will need to bagged and easily fit into the trash cans provided. No trash can be left outside of the trash cans. You may need to take a trip during the week to the recycling center dependent upon your amount of trash. There will be a fee accessed if trash is left outside of trash container and not bagged.

Please note there are some things there like coffee filters, oil, salt/pepper but are more for convenience than for 'provision'.

THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO TRULY RELAX! Situated on beautiful Lake Anna on the public side (which has access to waterfront restaurants, marinas and gas stations and the state park), this FIVE bedroom, three bath house has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. Master bedroom has queen bed and en-suite bathroom, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have queen beds, bedroom 5 has a full/single bunkbed, as well as a single bed with trundle.
