As you pull in, you’ll notice the double decks with an entrance into the first floor. Walking in, you’ll find ample space to unload your belongings, with quick access to 3 downstairs bedrooms and a full bathroom.

For extra peace of mind, there’s a gate installed at the top of the stairs to keep everyone safe. A small desk and chair are also provided for anyone who needs to plug in during their stay.

The kitchen is large and fully equipped for preparing delicious home-cooked meals, perfect for family and friends. The dining table has enough seating with chairs and benches, plus extra seating at the bar. Coffee lovers will appreciate the regular coffee maker and espresso machine, so you can wake up, grab a cup, and head out onto the deck to enjoy the sunrise and stunning lake views. There’s also a propane grill located on the upper deck for those afternoons when you want to BBQ while soaking in the beautiful scenery.

On the main floor, you`ll also find another bedroom with a queen-size bed. The closet includes a pack-n-play for the little ones, and the upstairs bathroom has a full tub/shower combo for easy access.

You`ll feel right at home in this beautiful house located in Alpine Lake. This 2-bedroom with a loft, 3-bathroom home offers a gorgeous view of the lake and is within walking distance – just a hop, skip, and a jump away from playing in the water!

The main floor living area features seating around a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for spending time with friends and family, making cherished memories. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including a wine fridge (or juice fridge for easy access for the kiddos). The two bedrooms are on the main floor. Bedroom #1 to the right has a queen and twin bed. Bedroom #2, the master bedroom, has a king bed with an attached bathroom. Upstairs in the loft area, you’ll find two twin trundle beds and its own bathroom.

Outdoor Living:

Step outside onto the deck and you’ll find ample seating around a Solo fire pit, ideal for relaxing by a fire on evenings when you just want to unwind or mornings to watch the sunrise over the lake while sipping your coffee. A charcoal grill and dining table are also available for outdoor meals. The homeowner also owns the lot across the road, where you can build a fire in the fire pit, roast hot dogs and marshmallows, and let the kids run off their energy before bed.

The hot tub was a perfect way to end each night before we retired in to the comfy bedding. The breeze that came through the holler all day was amazing, especially in the mornings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal, just take some foil, charcoal for the grill, your own coffee (coffee filters supplied), spices and ice and you are good to go. Highly recommend to couples wanting to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle! Definitely will return during the fall or winter to get a different mood at the property. The spacious living area boasts a wood-burning country stove set on a beautifully crafted natural stone hearth surrounded by floor-to-ceiling stone walls. Lake is actively stocked with Rainbow Trout, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, and Bluegills (fishing license fees are separate). Boating is available for $15 launch fee, note that gasoline engines are strictly prohibited. A single security camera is on the property for exterior automated monitoring only.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to recent changes at the resort, street parking is no longer allowed during the winter. Parking is limited to the off-street area for two cars. All others are subject to being towed by the resort.

Our family has met for the last three years at Alpine Lake for our combination family business meeting and family reunion. We rent six properties and use the one I own at Alpine as home base for some lodging, meals and activities. We were pleasantly surprised last year when we rented your beautiful home. Everything was perfect- beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen, dining room with ample seating and a "to die for" master suite. Actually, everyone wanted to stay in that room!! We rented it for this years meeting before we ever left Alpine last year. The only thing we used our rentals for was for sleeping and morning coffee. However, One of our group members cooked in the kitchen there and brought breakfast to our central meeting area. After making quiche for our group, she said the kitchen was efficiently organized and well stocked. The only issue we encountered was last year when all of the upstairs bedrooms were filled. We found ourselves having to use the basement bathroom when everyone was getting ready. Overall, our stay in your beautiful home was perfect!! Also, let me add that communication with the owner was excellent!! Not a single complaint!!"

- "Resort area in general is very quiet and peaceful. All the places are nice. The house was perfect for our family of 4. The beach was small but nice. I started every morning with a cup of coffee on the deck about 5:45AM and each morning saw a bear. The first morning a large bear just crossing the road at the end of the driveway and the second and third morning a smaller bear that knew the neighbors trash bin was not bear proof. Very enjoyable to watch. The steps leading up to the main quarters could be a problem for older or handicapped individuals and the driveway could be a problem in winter. I would certainly rent it again if the opportunity presented itself. Everything you need is in the home."

Our 800 square foot cabin consists of one private bedroom with a comfy king size bed and an open loft with queen and twin xl beds, Room darkening curtains and quality linens ensure a great night's rest. Both bedrooms have smart TVs. Foldaway bed available as well.

Beautiful hickory cabinets highlight the ample and fully equipped kitchen.

The living room boasts a large screen TV, a coffee table that doubles as a dining area, and a dining table with room for four people.

A/C in the summer is window air conditioners - heating is baseboard heaters.

The outside area has mountain views in three directions with beautiful sunrises. Picnic table, gas grill, and outdoor seating with a solo fire pit and wood pellets for burning or a traditional fire pit with some firewood provided highlight the outdoor space.

For stays from November through March we recommend AWD or 4WD. Our country road is not always a priority for the road crews.
The cabin is in a rural setting on a road that gets truck traffic during the week and ATV traffic on summer weekends so sometimes there is noise from the road.

Lawn care may need to be performed during the stay. We coordinate with guests and are flexible with timing if necessary.

Stays longer than 28 days require a lease. Refusal to sign a lease for stays longer than 28 days will result in cancellation of the booking.

GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT AND ID VERIFICATION
Your rental agreement and ID verification are sent within 24 hours of booking. If the rental agreement and ID verification are not completed within 24hours upon receipt. Reservation will be cancelled . No exceptions.

PRIMARY GUEST must be at least 28 years of age to rent The Miner’s Lodge and be present during the whole stay.

DOG FRIENDLY PROPERTY POLICY:
There is a non refundable fee of $75 for EACH REGISTERED DOG per reservation - LIMIT OF 2 DOGS OR $100 per DAY for each UNREGISTERED DOG -
Guest are required and responsible for registering their dogs up to before CHECK IN TIME .
Guest are required to clean after their dogs mess inside and outside the property .Guest are required, and MUST clean after their dog’s poop. A metal canister with a lid and poop bags are provided outside the property for disposal of poop ( MUST be bagged), and a $50 FEE will be charged per each clean up.
Damage insurance does NOT cover pet damage and guest will be responsible for any extra cleaning caused by excessive pet hair , slabber , messes and damage caused by a registered or unregistered dog. .For your convenience the property has 1 Medium & 1 Large kennel per prior request.
Please use provided waterproof dog blankets and sofa covers if they will be on the furniture.

Spend hours on the deck enjoying the view of our domesticated ducks and the occasional wild ducks with their ducklings. Explore the wildlife trails and keep an eye out for fish in the pond. We have about 18 domesticated ducks and over 8 wild ducks and their babies that frequently visit the property.

Newly added air conditioning in the main areas—kitchen, living room, and dining area—keeps things cool on hot days. Enjoy the warmth of a huge gas fireplace in the fall and winter, along with a heat pump for added comfort. The pond fountain adds a serene touch during spring, summer, and fall (it will be removed for winter).

The Mountain Momma Guest Suite offers you complete privacy and comfort. It offers 3 small rooms upstairs and a private bathroom on the main floor. We share the laundry, which I use once a week and when you are not in the house; and we share the kitchen, which you are free to use anytime. I rarely cook and usually eat in my own suite.
You will have your own key and security fob for entering the house,
day or night. My private suite is located far enough from the rest of the house that your coming and going will not bother me.
The upstairs suite has a smart tv, and the living room tv downstairs has cable which you may use anytime. A door separates the living room from the living room of my suite.
Usually I will be here during your visit, and your privacy is of utmost importance to me. If we happen to see each other, I am happy to converse and become acquainted only to the extent that you wish. I want to make your stay in the Mountain Momma Guest Suite as pleasant as possible.

This ground level apartment is a 20 minute walk to downtown Morgantown as well as on the city bus line. The White park trails are a block away and it is near the Morgantown municipal ice rink. There are two grocery stores within a mile as well as a local tavern with amazing food and cold beer. ( one block away) The apartment is day bright and cozy at night. Queen bed. The place has a private backyard and walks right into the white park trails for either biking or hiking. The ice rink is close as well. I have lived in Morgantown since 2004 and know my way around very well along with some great dining and activities. Very close to Coopers Rock and Cheat Lake for anyone looking for outdoor adventures.

Our location is easy to get to and very convenient. We are so close to the interstate (I79 and I68) and minutes from the downtown campus and WVU hospitals. We also have a picturesque view that isn't common in Morgantown.

With advance notice, we may also provide a shuttle on game days up to 3 hours before and up to an hour after the game for a fee of $25 each way.

The space
I list two of the extra rooms I have in my four bedroom, three story home. Usually it's just one guest staying at a time.

Guest access
There are three floors. Your room is on the third floor. The middle floor is the kitchen and living room which is open for you to use. Host has preference if using TV. Please don't touch the host's food without asking. Host bedroom on middle floor is off limits. Rooms on the third floor aside from yours and the bathroom are off limits.

Other things to note
I have a sweet small dog. She is very friendly but does not go upstairs to the third floor where guests stay. She sleeps in my bedroom.
