With so many memories of having to walk up the hill after a night at the bars, it was great to be within a couple hundred feet of the apartment when it was time to call it a night. All the rooms had plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms was perfect. Our host did a great job of responding when we had trouble accessing the building (our fault for not realizing additional information had been sent to us the morning of our arrival), and he kept in touch all weekend to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He also provided some great recommendations for restaurants and bars. Our loft, “The Mountaineer Suite”, sits on 2 floors, features a full kitchen/dining area, full private bathroom with a custom shower, along with heated floors for those cold, winter months. Follow the stairs to the loft area where you’ll find a spacious, open floor plan which features a workspace, a spacious living room with a large comfortable sectional, (which adds additional sleeping space), Smart TV and 2 beds, one full/queen size and one twin.

There is a parking pad right out front for Airbnb parking. The entrance to the Airbnb is through the top entrance when facing the house from the parking area. PLEASE NOTE: THE ENTRANCE FOR THIS AIRBNB IS THE TOP DOOR ENTRANCE, THERE IS ANOTHER AIRBNB AT THE BOTTOM HOUSE. PLEASE USE TOP DOOR ENTRANCE.
"Key" Access to the Space is through an app called August. I will send a link via text once you book and it will instruct you to download the app and create an account, once you do that you will see your invitation there. Then, once you arrive at the front door, you will open the app and see a red dot, tap the dot and it will turn green and unlock the door. To re-lock, just tap the green dot. It's slick and simple and you have no physical keys to keep track of or worry about losing!

The Mountaineer Suite is situated on 2 floors. Kitchen and bathroom on the first floor and stairs lead you up to the loft area where you'll find an open floor plan with living room, 2 beds and a desk area. The entrance is located on the upper deck area.

Just keep in mind that the Airbnb does have 2 levels, there is a narrow stairway leading up to the loft area, which is the main living space with living room and beds. Kitchen and bathroom are on the first level.

- "Great location , good people , zero trouble" - "The property is clean and quiet. It is fitting for a couple. We had WiFi issues as I was trying to work away from home while my husband was at a golf tournament. Nicely decorated. The furniture is more like college furniture so not very comfortable to me. Although my husband said he slept great. I had some communication issues with the host after booking but he made it right and during the stay they were very accommodating. We decided not to bring our dog and glad we didn’t as it is an upstairs apartment in a business district and there was no mention of a pet fee in the advertisement but they did mention one right before we left for our trip. Very convenient to downtown. Overall clean, convenient and acccomodating. "

- "Good - staff were nice, early check in requested and granted, safe, bed comfortable, nice view of mountains at resort, can tell that place was probably a destination worthy to stop and stay back in the day.Not so good - resort roads are rough, rooms are not updated, outside needs improved groundskeeping for aesthetics. forget taking bath as bathtub is from Abraham Lincoln days, bottom of tub is a slip and fall waiting to happen as the area you stand on moves up and down and not secured, and nonfunctional, as you sit on toilet you can see little bugs crawling around bathroom floor.This said, probably the most reasonable lodging I found for our destination stay for cost and time period which was 2 nights. Would I stay again? Now that I know how it would possibly be, yes if I couldn't find something a notch up for same cost.Would not book through Hosteeva again as the Id verification process they put you through is nutzo. And they had to be reminded to send me my check in instructions the day before my trip which really is the only thtask they had other than accepting payment."
