Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. This huge home is great for large family vacations. My family and I have been enjoying this home for 9 years. We love the amount the space and the private pool. The walk to the beach only takes 2 minutes. In the evening we enjoy sitting on the deck enjoying ocean breeze and the view of the sunset over the ocean. The house sleeps 21

- "This is a very nice home, however the housekeeper is making money off of the owner. She is doing the bare minimum. We always go in and clean and spray everything down with Lysol before we do anything. The house hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. The bedsheets were clean, but the mattress covers appeared to have never been washed and we rewashed the towels. They smelled sower when they got wet. The owner is very nice and responsive..Anything I reached out to him about he answered or called/texted right back. Again very nice and understanding. Large, open apartment above Clatter Cafe in the heart of the downtown area, less than 1/2 mile from FSU. With tall ceilings and comfy furnishings, it is ideal for lounging, socializing, and sleeping.

The living room has cozy leather couches and a 100" projector screen (cast from your device). There is a bar area and a small dining area. The small kitchen has everything needed to stay in and prepare meals.

There is one bedroom with double bed. Another single bed can be set up on request.

The space
This second-story former recording studio features open spaces and tall ceilings, and seems good for lounging, socializing and sleeping.

Guests enter into a small but functional kitchen in what was once the drum room.

Its main room is a large, open space with couches, a diner-booth style eating area, a coffee and tea prep area, a small corner bar, a 100" projector screen and sound system.

Beyond that is the one bedroom (which was once a control room), with windows facing Broadway. A queen bed flanked by lamps and bedside stands with outlets faces a TV on a dresser. Blackout curtains can be pulled aside for natural light.

Also off the main room is the bathroom, but first a foyer with storage for towels, etc, and a place to hang your bike if you wish.

The bathroom is small, with just a stand-up shower, sink and toilet.

The overall impression and experience of the apartment is pleasing, although even cursory investigation shows it is rough around the edges: no trim in some areas, the sound-absorbing wall panels are not smoothly joined together: nothing that should disrupt a lovely stay.

The location is wonderful, being in the middle of town, right above Clatter and a short walk from everything in downtown. Note though, if it's a night that Clatter is open for live music, you'll hear it through the floor. You are likely to hear the muffled sounds of the cafe opening in the morning as well.

Guests have access to the full apartment. Guests will enter by walking up the outside rear stairs to a deck, then into the building and up four stairs to the door labeled Clatter House. Arrange with the host to get a key.

The space
The home is located on 15 N Johnson St. on a brick lined street in Cumberland’s Historic District. Many of Cumberland’s unique amenities are within a few blocks including a winery, a brewery, quaint shops, a bakery along with a great choice of indoor or outdoor dining. If you have bikes they can fit in the hallway of the Airbnb.

Full kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and all pots/pans/utensils needed for cooking and eating. Great for a long ski weekend or an anytime getaway. Apartment is located in a former Large Victorian Home that served as a Vacation home for a Federal Judge in DC many years ago. The home was converted into individual apartments, each with their own kitchens and living area. It is very vast and charming building walking distance to downtown shops, cafes, museums, and convenient stores. Shares front porch patio with new and inviting seating up front, wooded area behind the house with additional seating.

Guests will be able to access the entire apartment and common areas of building such as the front large porch with patio seating, and back yard area which is full of trees for some relaxation.

Coin washer and dryer are located in the basement of the building and shared with 4-other apartments.

Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am. An early check in or late check out may be arranged in advance (for an additional fee) if it is available. Enjoy a contactless check-in, directly at the property.

There is 1 parking space in Hambright's Alley next to the building for each apartment that can accommodate a mid size Car, SUV, or minivan. If you have a larger vehicle however, there is ample street parking as well.
