You equally have access to laundry within the building and ample parking if you drive. There is also a fully equipped gym on the premises shared by other tenants.

The space
I am providing my guest room. It is a small room with a bed and a side table, with two lamps. It has an empty closet for your use, and there is a full bathroom opposite the room dedicated to the guest as well.
We get to share the living areas and the kitchen. I have most of what one might need to make coffee, tea, or extract juice if that is your preference. There are also enough pots and plates if you like cooking.

You have access to your room/ bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room. If you want to use the gym, I will give you the key card. If you want to do laundry, you will need your card. I can provide detergents, color catchers, and dryer sheets

During your stay
I work from home most days, so you will likely meet me when you come. However, if you book your stay during one of my times away from home, no worries. There is a lock box at the door, and I will provide you with a code when you arrive.

C&O canal towpath, Fort Frederick State Park, Whitetail Resort & golf course, and Hagerstown Speedway are all within 15 minutes. 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest suite with private entrance. The space
Due to the delicate nature of the home’s original and antique features, in addition to the winding staircase, we recommend the suite for couples, solo travelers, groups of friends, and children over 12.

Clear Spring is a small town in a rural setting. We love and respect our neighbors here and ask that if you have a dog if you please take them to the alleyway to relieve themselves and use a bag to clean up. If you are a smoker, the same applies. No smoking is allowed at the property inside or outside. Please take your smoke break in the alley behind the house or across the street. Your cooperation is much appreciated!
Dining options here are sparse but in Hagerstown, 15 minutes away, there are many. For those who prefer preparing their own food, we have a fully stocked kitchen with sink, mini fridge, toaster oven, single burner induction stove, cookware, plates, utensils, and essentials like olive oil, coffee and tea.

Guest access
The guest suite sits on the upper level of the house. Owner lives in the lower level which is accessed by a different entrance. Once you enter from the front door, you’ll go up a flight of stairs. The entire upper level, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and bath is the guest suite.

We welcome dog guests! We do require that they be listed on the booking, and when you are absent from the suite the dogs MUST be crated.

The space
My building is in a historic urban area one block from a beautiful city park with a one mile walking loop around a lake. The apartment is one of four one bedroom apartments in a larger 1900 century home that has been converted to apartments in, or around the year 1905. The two second floor apartments have permanent tenants and the two first floor apartments are Airbnb. Over time, I have one by one renovated three of the four apartments and now am working on improvements to the grounds for outdoor enjoyment.

The space
This property is a quarter-mile back a lane off of the main rural road. There is ample parking and room for trailer or camper.
There is a playground and a sandbox that kids can use. There is a mile long walking path that surrounds the perimeter of the property and goes through a small wooded area with additional play area for kids and a small pond when it’s not dried up. The unit was originally designed to be an Inlaw suite, so it has all the necessities that you need for your stay.

We have 16 acres of rolling hills, feel free to take a walk around. Please dont pet or feed the horses unless we are present. Horses are amazing creatures and all the horses that live here are kind but they have a mind of their own and can be dangerous. Thanks

Guest access
The lower level apartment is 100% your space, about 550 sq ft. We also have 16 acres of rolling hills you can take a walk on. At your request we have corn hole, ladder ball and croquet. You have your own patio and grill but can also sit at the upper patio.

We have horses and we can get one out for you to pet and maybe brush, but no rides. If you want to see a horse please bring closed toes shoes for around them, no sandles. Dont go in the barn without us. Thanks

This historic home was built in 1872 and was home to a well known local educator - Emma K Doub.

The living area is large enough to also include a dining area. There are 12 foot ceilings and large windows that flood the rooms with light. Even though the building is steeped in history, this apartment is filled with modern touches. There are hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and entertain. There are two bedrooms. The primary has a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 full-size bunk beds. The upstairs full bath has a clawfoot tub and vintage porcelain sink. The second full bath is downstairs beside the kitchen.
