- "The host is AMAZING. Never a time she didn’t answer when I had a question. Parking was great. It’s street parking but we never had an issue having a spot. The only thing I had an issue with is I would have loved a deadbolt on the main door for while we were sleeping. The automatic lock and pin pad on the door were nice but I could not figure out if it was locked on the outside or not. If you turn the knob on the inside it automatically unlocks so I never knew if it was locked on the outside and that made me nervous. Other than that fantastic stay!"

Welcome to the Berry Loft! Your private apartment on the second floor of a building first constructed in 1877 for a successful cordage business. After undergoing a five-year historic rehabilitation to preserve all of the details possible, the building is now known as Waterfront Hall. A bustling food hall, bar, music venue, and event space. You will have stellar views of the mighty Ohio River, and the best home base possible in the heart of downtown Wheeling.

The Space:

You’ll be greeted by the unmistakable charm of exposed brick walls that exude character and warmth. The raw, rugged texture of the bricks serves as a nod to the building’s industrial past.

Our spacious living area is bathed in natural light through tall 10ft windows, illuminating the many thoughtful design features. The open floor plan seamlessly integrates the living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating an ideal space for both relaxation and entertaining.

Our brand new kitchen is equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, and includes an espresso machine, cookware and basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar and flour.

The bedroom is a comfortable retreat, boasting a cozy atmosphere enhanced by the exposed brick wall and large window with views of the surrounding area. For you to use are luggage racks, ample closet space and a dresser ensuring plenty of storage for your wardrobe and belongings, as well as a vanity.

The living area contains a 75in HDTV and two couches that can sleep two people on each.

Relax at a unique, serene monastery that is under restoration. THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE. It is comfortable, clean, and convenient, and it needs to be further polished.

Designed by famous architect Frederick F. Faris (1870–1927), built to house cloistered Carmelite nuns (1915 to 1974), the building was converted into apt units in the 80s. This 2nd-floor unit looks out to the cloistered courtyard. The building is a federal-registered historical site. We are working with Fedderal, State and City to restore this rare historical magnificence. Your stay is part of the effort.

The property is located on the top of a hill in a premier residential area. Mt. Carmel is a peaceful oasis. It is easy to see past her crumbly edges and enjoy the space's charm and grace, cloistered courtyard, and walled gardens. The view of the sunset is breathtaking. We are in the process of restoring it to its old glory.

This charming home was built in 1900 historic Wheeling, WV. 3 stories, tastefully split into 3 private units with a lot of shared common space as well. Whether in town for business or pleasure, come enjoy some peace & quiet.

The neighborhood has seen better days, a drive around the island would show many big old mansions in serious need of TLC. But this is turning around as a new generation is moving in, restoring these majestic homes back to their former glory. And yes, its a very safe area.

The space
The pictures shown are Unit #3, as well as some of the common areas of the house. It is the entire 3rd floor of the house, with 2 bedrooms, private bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room space. There is a small refrigerator. There is a bathtub, but no shower. And it is a bit cozy in the bathtub! (no headspace, you actually have to sit/lay in the tub. See the pictures) It really is cute and charming, but if you prefer a shower, the shared bathroom on the 2nd floor is available as well for shower/baths.

The guest will have no contact full access to their apartment on the top floor. The facility has two rooms, a bathroom, dining room, kitchen, and living room. There are two doors to the apartment. The left door upon entry will lead you to the apartment with contact less key pad. Please refrain from using any other lock besides the key pad. The neighborhood is quiet, and you will have a full view of Casino parking lot with ample lights at night, with no neighbors to worry about.

This is a second- floor unit with stairs required to access the space. The condo is professionally cleaned between each stay, and we provide fresh linens, towels, and basic essentials to get you started.

No parties or extra guests- violations will result in full loss of security deposit, regardless of damage.

No smoking inside the unit- guests will also forfeit the full deposit if smoking occurs.

Welcome to the Berry Loft! Your private apartment on the second floor of a building first constructed in 1877 for a successful cordage business. After undergoing a five-year historic rehabilitation to preserve all of the details possible, the building is now known as Waterfront Hall. A bustling food hall, bar, music venue, and event space. You will have stellar views of the mighty Ohio River, and a lovely home base in the heart of downtown Wheeling.

The space
You’ll be greeted by the unmistakable charm of exposed brick walls that exude character and warmth. The raw, rugged texture of the bricks serves as a nod to the building’s industrial past.

Our spacious living area is bathed in natural light through tall 10ft windows, illuminating the many thoughtful design features. The open floor plan seamlessly integrates the living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating an ideal space for both relaxation and entertaining.

Our brand new kitchen is equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, and includes an espresso machine, cookware and basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar and flour.

The bedroom is a comfortable retreat, boasting a cozy atmosphere enhanced by the exposed brick wall and large window with views of the surrounding area. For you to use are luggage racks, ample closet space and a dresser ensuring plenty of storage for your wardrobe and belongings, as well as a vanity.

The living area contains a 75in HDTV and two couches that can sleep two people on each.

The surrounding area:
- Directly in front of where you’ll stay is Heritage Port, a linear 3-acre waterfront park consisting of an amphitheater, pathways to the water’s edge and mooring facilities. During the summer months the park is the site for many annual festivals, river-front fireworks, and weekly concerts/movies, among other events. Additionally, you can find access to Heritage Trail, a paved 18-mile walking/biking trail that extends down the eastern bank of the Ohio River.

- All within a 1 minute walk down the street, you can find locally sourced produce and health conscious groceries at the Public Market and WesBanco Arena for a Nailers hockey game, concert, or sporting event.

- 7 minute walk to Capitol Theater

- 10 Minute drive to Oglebay Park

- Bird scooters are parked on the sidewalk right outside the front entrance to Waterfront Hall [local cab services are also available]

Guest access
Upon arriving at Waterfront Hall, we encourage you to park in the loading zone, directly in front of the building. Turn your flashers on, grab your luggage and walk down the south side of the building to find the key box by the black double doors. Use the key (and keep it on your person) to enter the black double doors. The code will be the last 4 digits of the cell phone number used to make your reservation.

After unloading, you can park your car on the north side of the building in our employee parking spaces as designated by the parking signs.

Once you’ve made it through the double black doors, you will see an elevator straight ahead of you. Go to the second floor and make a right stepping out of the elevator. Follow the hallway all the way down until you reach the loft door on your left. Use the keypad to input the code you’ve been given and make sure to press the check mark button after you’ve entered the code for entry!

- CONS: it can get noisy

It’s important to us that we are as transparent and proactive about the noise you could experience during your stay. Noise machines and a record player are supplied to help mitigate any noise to ensure you have the most comfortable stay we can offer.
