This spacious and welcoming 1890s two-story residence has been thoughtfully appointed as a charming and comfortable haven. Poised in a breezy, green pocket of Riverhead, the home is a short walk from the LIRR and historic village town center with its many conveniences.

Outside, a large, breezy deck observes tranquil, green grassed gardens and shaded with lofty trees – a beautiful setting to relax and unwind.

Graced with green, leafy street views through huge sash windows, both bedrooms are spacious and feature comfy queen-sized beds, high quality linens and generous storage which includes a huge walk-in robe/ storage area and separate dressers. Open plan living and dining areas share downstairs along with a huge, fully-equipped kitchen. Brand new modern appliances include a gas stove and oven, dishwasher, enormous fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. A huge separate laundry with commercial-sized washer and dryer are conveniently located off the kitchen.

Heating, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the home ensure year-round climate comfort. An additional WC is located downstairs.

The space
This beautiful modern house was built and designed 20 years ago by artist Gloria Kisch to fully take advantage of the amazing scenery and natural beauty of the property. My husband and I purchased it recently and have put a lot of work into renovating and re decorating to bring it to contemporary tastes. We are a family of professional artists and occasionally host our two sons who work in art studios close by.
