- "We had an absolutely wonderful stay! I traveled with my husband and five month old baby as well as my German Shepherd. I cannot stress how nervous I was about my first overnight outing with baby. Debbie was absolutely amazing, she ran over a pack and play which was a lifesaver during our stay. I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for easy meals, internet speeds were great so both my husband and I were able to get a bit of work done, and the overall layout of the property is perfect for a small family. Also a huge plus for us was that the property feels extremely private because of the surrounding vegetation. This is my first time renting for a vacation in general instead of staying at a hotel and we are definitely coming back! - "My husband and I needed a place to stay overnight, we had a wedding to attend in the area, Wayne’s place accommodated all our needs, the room is average size, fridge, freezer, chairs with a side table. The bathroom is clean and Wayne had little accessories you might need and forgot, shower cap, iron, ect. The surprise gift that came with the room (bottle of wine) was so welcoming. The dogs were very friendly as well. We highly recommend staying here and Wayne was so welcoming and nice."

- "We used this property as a home base for exploring Long Island and it is a good location for seeing the whole island including the south side beaches. 2+ hour drive to Montauk lighthouse but worth it. I agree with another reviewer that the listing is a bit misleading in that it implies you get the whole cabin, which you definitely do not. you get a basement apartment under the main cabin. However, my husband and I were quite content there- it is a cute space and roomy for 2 people with comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and nice TV. Parking is a bit dicey as you share it with the people living upstairs and it is tight even with a smaller car. The parking down on the street is a good option. Check in process was super easy and communication with the host was easy as well. Overall we were quite happy there."

- "We booked this as a last-minute getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is sun-drenched, across the street from the beach with a great set-up for a couple or small family. The place has comfortable furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and top-quality linens and bath essentials. The decor was great, and there were lots of books, magazines, and games readily available for use. The back of the house faces a large saltmarsh and is great for spotting wildlife or watching sunsets. We sensed a bit of a strong smell from the watery surroundings when we first arrived, but it wasn't really noticeable after a while. A beautiful cabin in the woods with private beach access (a short walk to the beach from the house). The cabin comes with luxurious amenities such as herbal sauna, spacious dual shower bathroom, 12 inch memory foam king bed, radiant floor heating, and gorgeous 25 ft tall ceilings. The space
The house is an open floor loft layout. The great room has a 25 ft tall ceiling with huge windows. You can soak in all the nature. The house comes with a private sauna and a huge dual shower. The main sleep area is the open loft with the king size bed on the second floor (a daybed is also in this room). It's open to blew and not enclosed. The secondary sleeping area is a small enclosed bedroom also on the second floor with queen size bed.

There is 10-15 minutes walk to the beach property from the house. The beach is not adjacent to the house. I promise you it's worth the walk! Not only it's gorgeous, you are likely to have the whole beach to yourselves!

Guest access

Guests have access to everything but the laundry room and the mechanic room. Pets are prohibited in the sauna or the shower. Any violation will result in a $200 fine. If you come back from the beach, you and your pets need to rinse off sand, please do so using the hose outdoors. Pets are not allowed in the shower.

Other things to note

All pets are welcome! Pet fee applies. 2 animals maximum. Pet fee does not cover pet accidents and other damages caused by pets. Pets are prohibited in the sauna. Violations will result in a $200 fine.

The lights in the house are controlled by Google home. Please refer to the instruction manual on the coffee table for instructions. Please DO NOT remove any switch covers to avoid a $200 reconfiguration fee.

At the corner of Gull Dip Road and East Margin Road there is private entrance on the North side of the house. The North Gate has a Silver Pine Cone on the Gate which opens to a private yard with seating for your exclusive use. Down the steps is the entry door that leads to the one bedroom apartment.

Once you get to "The Silver Pine Cone" there is a welcome book that includes information to all the local places to help plan and enjoy your stay. There is internet and Smart TV for your use. Please note I do not provide local television shows but you have availability to watch them by streaming. There is parking in the private driveway for one car if you have more then one please notify the host for insteuctions. Additional cars may park on street.
