We also had leftovers from a tailgate party and the staff came with 5 gallon pails of ice to refill the coolers in our truck so the food would make it home. Most importantly we heard absolutely no noise from the other rooms. No doors slamming, toilets flushing, nothing but silence. If you get the chance, come stay at the Rosewood. You will NOT be disappointed."

Historic Bloomingdale is in the center of DC geographically, so it's a great place from which to enjoy the city. With 1900's era architecture, wide avenues, green parks and lots of trees, it's a gorgeous home for DC residents but also close to all the sights visitors want to see.

Getting Around:
Locals walk a lot, and you'll probably want to explore the neighborhood. But to get much farther, and particularly to get to the Mall, Capitol and Smithsonian, or to get to Catholic University, you might want to Uber/Lyft or rent a bike or scooter using the apps. You can easily walk to Howard University, plus restaurants and bars that are just blocks away.

The entire building is bright, sunny and clean. 3 rooms are available. The bedroom's size is ( 8 * 6). The 2 bathrooms, which will be shared. There is a choice for a midsize or small sized room. The small rooms will be nice for a student or a young professional who is not looking for a lot of space. Utilities are ( water, electric, heat and wireless internet ). The room comes furnished and free Wifi. The small-sized rooms are perfect for interns or young professional.

The communal:
The Georgia Ave Apartment is located next to the Petworth/Green Line Metro Station in Washington DC (20 Seconds Away). Walk out of your Apartment and you are in front of the Metro Stop.

Apartment is on Eastern edge of Columbia Heights, one Metro stop past Columbia Heights,1 mile from Adams Morgan and has Decent street parking. It also has easy access to downtown Silver Spring and is Four Metro stops to the Convention Center, Six to Metro Center, Seven to L'Enfant Plaza; Red line is one or five stops away. Under 25 minutes by Metro to the Hill.

The bedrooms are small bedrooms and the kitchen is small with a small dining room area.
Easy bike ride to Adams Morgan, DuPont, Cleveland Park etc. There are a growing number of restaurants and coffee houses.
Appliances are refrigerator, Microwave.

Since my place is on the main road, bus stops are right outside and 10-15 min walking distance to 3 metro station.

My place is on the second floor. 1st floor is a neighborhood bar Crab plug seafood. You will be hearing music. Currently it closed since November 2023 and don’t know when it will be open.

This is attic room has very upright stair case. Also, it has half private bathroom, but the full bathrooms and kitchen are on the second and first floor.
There is no central air condition, but there is a window AC unit and space heater. This room is good for young person. I don’t recommend for older and a gust who have large luggage. I am only concern about the narrowed and the verticality of the staircase. Other than stair, the room is large and a private half bathroom.
