This recently renovated second floor apartment has been designed with great care. Enjoy some modern amenities like stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors, along with the convenience of in-unit laundry. Join the locals and go for a run around the lake, located across the street, or take a stroll down the street and enjoy the seasonal farmers market, Christmas tree stand, and the ball diamond located at Veteran's Field. Continue on a few minutes farther and dine at the local restaurants, treat yourself at the day spa, and shop at some of the town’s best boutiques. The house is located on the commuter rail train line which can be a little noisy and even rattle the house a bit, but our infant and toddler sleep right through it. Just in case, we provide a white noise machine for any sensitive sleepers! In only a 5 minute walk down the street and a 20 minute train ride into the city, you can be enjoying the sights and sounds of Boston. The home is clean, located on the second floor and filled with light from the east in the morning and the south during the day. The living room, dining room and kitchen are a great room concept. The living room has an electric fireplace and the heating throughout the unit kept us warm. There’s no TV but we watched shows on our laptop and wifi worked well. The kitchen has all major appliances and we were left with cupboard space to place our own food and cooking items. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to cook or bake, which we used a lot. The bedroom is large and light filled with storage for clothing in drawers or hanging and luggage racks. The linens are good though we found the bed a bit soft and the double size adequate. The bathroom is updated and comfortable. The washer and dryer are new, large and did a great job of cleaning. There is a lovely porch on the south side with a beautiful grill, dining table and seating area. The back yard also has room to sit outside and enjoy the weather. There was ample space for us to park. There is a lake across the street, 3.3 miles around, which I ran around daily. Two grocery stores are 1/2 mile away. The train to Boston is a 10 minute walk and we found this convenient to get into the city, rather than drive and park. The train passes behind the house and the car traffic in the front are noisy but there are sound mufflers in the house to address those. I found the home easy to keep clean for the six weeks and there are cleaning supplies and equipment. Betsy was very responsive to our inquiries and addressed any issues quickly. We were comfortable in her home and would recommend it to others."

You have you own entrance with a key pad lock so you can come and go as you please. You have the whole ground level floor to yourselves and there are no stairs to climb.

This modern, spacious and cozy home was completely renovated at the end of 2022, thoughtfully designed for our family and guests when they visit.

It is conveniently located close to popular spots such as Salem, North Shore and Boston (right off route 1 and highway 95). Grocery store, pharmacy, dry cleaners and other amenities are just down the road. In a quiet and friendly neighborhood.

We open it up for Airbnb guests seasonally. We look forward to hosting you!

The space
This space was finished with high quality materials because our guests deserve a comfortable space to call home while they stay with us . It has a high ceiling and large open-concept living room. The gorgeous West Elm couch can separate into two twin beds and sleep two comfortably. The grey accent chair can be unfolded to become a twin bed. Beautiful custom-made olive green bookshelves with designated work station including a monitor for productivity. The Crate and Barrel dining set is there for you to enjoy a nice morning coffee or a quick meal.

The kitchenette includes sink, a standard fridge/freezer, toaster, portable induction cooktop, air fryer/toaster oven by Instant Pot, microwave and Keurig Mini Plus coffee maker. If you wish to make a full meal we also have a grill outside that's exclusively for you to use.

A full bathroom with a gorgeous standing shower (our guests can't stop talking about the amazing shower) , bathroom sink and storage shelves. Brand new LG washer and dryer that are extremely quiet when running.

One bedroom with a Queen size bed and new Casper mattress and a dresser for storage.

Some complementary items to get you started: coffee pods, tea bags, cream/sugar, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and body wash. Sets of clean towels can be found on the bathroom shelves.

Exclusively for you to enjoy outside is a patio furniture set (2 chairs and a table) and a Weber grill. You are also welcome to use our fire pit and play structure in the backyard.

***Use of the swimming pool is based on request only for an additional fee. You will also need to sign a waiver. Using the swimming pool or being on the deck without permission will automatically result cancellation of your reservation without a refund. We take your safety very seriously.

Guest access
Guests may park up to two cars in the drive way facing the guest entrance. You will be given a code for the smart lock to enter the unit. Detailed check-in instructions will be available under your reservation 24 hours prior to arrival. Please read through the check-in and parking instruction to ensure an easy check-in process. There is no restricted hours for checking in, however, if you arrive late at night, we do ask to be mindful of your noise as our neighbors would also appreciate a quiet night of rest.

Guests have full access to the entire space. Small outdoor seating and Weber grill are for the guests exclusively. More seating, play structure in the backyard are to be shared with us.

We are a family of four who live upstairs and can be of assistance right away if needed. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We are a laid-back family that enjoy spending time with each other, playing instruments and doing outdoor activities. We follow a daily routine schedule with school-aged kids. You may hear footsteps during regular hours but nothing that is above normal living noise. A white noise machine is provided for your comfort if you wish to use it. We provide a relaxing and comfortable space for our guests, not a place for parties or large gatherings.
