This home is nestled in a quaint valley where the deer and squirrels visit often. Enjoy time to unwind, or make a short trip into town to enjoy local shops, eateries, or even the Circus! Located 10 minutes from Mississinewa reservoir, conveniently located off of 31, and plenty of room in the drive for a boat or trailer. This little home sits in a one acre valley just off of one of the main roads into Peru. While the road is not a highway, it does have more traffic than your typical back country road. The heaviest traffic flows will be around drop off and pick up times for the nearby school. There are a few houses in the area, but far enough away to still enjoy the privacy that comes with getting out of town.

We have a circle drive with plenty of parking space, making it a great spot if you are pulling a trailer, boat, or large vehicle. We are only 10 minutes from Mississinewa Lake, Bunker Hill Drag-strip, and Rock Hollow Golf Course.

The house is newly built, with an open concept. It has one bedroom and one bath room. There is no additional sleeping space outside of the queen bed in the bedroom.

The entire unit is available for the guests enjoyment. There is one locked storage closet that guests will not have access too unless guest is staying 7 nights or more.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest access located in the small shed on the property. Please let us know if you plan on using the laundry machines during your stay so we can be sure we have needed supplies available. Please do not leave laundry unattended for long periods of time, as other guests or housekeeping may need to use the machines.

There will always be someone available in close vicinity to the home in case of any issues. We do our best to respond to any questions quickly and encourage communication from our guest. If there should be an emergency or an unmet need through the night, it is best to call instead of message/text.

Peru is a friendly town and you’re likely to find yourself in conversation with the locals. We have a low crime rate in our area, and people are generally friendly and inviting. There are many unique and quaint shops on the main strips (Broadway and Main Streets) of town. A short drive to Converse is always a good option if you want to explore.

Traffic is usually light in Peru as compared to large cities. Most local businesses have a parking lot or street parking. There are no parking meters or paid parking in Peru, though some areas have time restrictions especially around the courthouse. Most of the time you can park on the street within a block of your destination. There is no public transportation so please plan accordingly.

There is an additional rental home on the property. The drive way and yard are open to guests in either home, but all indoor and patio spaces are private for each guest.

The light up buttons on the mirror display above the sink do turn off if you find the lights to be too bright. Just press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds until they shut off. Each time the mirror lights are used the button lights will have to be turned off again.

Forgot something? We may have you covered! We do our best to keep some personal hygene essentials stocked in case you forgot to pack something. In the bathroom vanity you can find some spare items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, deoderant etc. We ask that you not intentionally rely on these amenities so that we can continue to provide them to guest in case a need arrises.

This home has an open concept layout with a spacious kitchen and family room. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an en suite full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both have big windows with lovely views of the lake. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed. There is a second full bath as well. All bedrooms have smart televisions that contain many popular apps so you can stream your favorite shows. The living room has a queen size pull out couch to sleep 2 guests. There is also a 3-in-1 game table to play pool, ping pong or air hockey. There are also numerous puzzles and games to enjoy. Large windows and patio door provide a great view of the lake all day long. The master bedroom has a pack and play stored away if needed as well. All towels and bed linens are provided.

The large kitchen features a dining table that comfortably seats 6 people and is fully equipped for all your cooking and serving needs. Nyona Lake is a quiet fishing lake located in Macy, IN. It is popular for ice fishing in the winter months. Nearby towns with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, antique shops and other shopping include Rochester, IN (approx 9 miles away) and Logansport, IN (approx 25 miles away) among others depending how far you would like to travel. There are also orchards, wineries, and multiple golf courses nearby.

Check into this spacious Bunk House on 600 acres of farmland in northeastern Indiana. Sleeping 6 comfortably. The bunkhouse sits on land owned by the Rees Family. You'll be surrounded by a working Angus cattle farm. In the spring you'll be able to see the baby calves from the covered deck. Located 7 miles from Wabash, and 12 miles to Peru. This 2 bedroom and 2 bath rental is a must see. The large front porch is inviting for all guests to to unwind.

Enjoy a tranquil, relaxing stay in our private, handcrafted log home set amidst a 5 acre spring fed lake on 138 acres of a classified Indiana natural wildlife preserve. A meandering creek, rolling hills and trails suitable for nature walks and hikes surround the property. For the fishing enthusiast, the lake is stocked with largemouth bass and bluegill. We have several water craft to enjoy on the lake. These include a three person canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards, and a two person inflatable kayak. Guest access:
The dock by the Cabin is for guest use (no diving off the dock) There is a floating swim platform for sunning and swimming. The owners have an additional home and dock approximately 100 yards down from the cabin. This dwelling, barn and all other outbuildings are not for guests. They are not occupied during your stay. The owners may make brief visits to the outdwellings for general maintenance purposes. Guests will be notified in advance…this is a rare occurrence. Thank you for understanding!
Other things to note
No hunting is allowed. Fishing is all catch and release to maintain a healthy fish population, please bring your own fishing gear.

New features!! We have installed Starlink, a high-speed, low-latency internet for remote and rural locations operated by aerospace company SpaceX. Internet connection at the cabin is extremely reliable with this service which makes the cabin an excellent place to work remotely. We have upgraded the grill to a 3 burner Weber gas grill with an electric start (propane is provided).
