This home is nestled in a quaint valley where the deer and squirrels visit often. Enjoy time to unwind, or make a short trip into town to enjoy local shops, eateries, or even the Circus! Located 10 minutes from Mississinewa reservoir, conveniently located off of 31, and plenty of room in the drive for a boat or trailer. This little home sits in a one acre valley just off of one of the main roads into Peru. While the road is not a highway, it does have more traffic than your typical back country road. The heaviest traffic flows will be around drop off and pick up times for the nearby school. There are a few houses in the area, but far enough away to still enjoy the privacy that comes with getting out of town.

We have a circle drive with plenty of parking space, making it a great spot if you are pulling a trailer, boat, or large vehicle. We are only 10 minutes from Mississinewa Lake, Bunker Hill Drag-strip, and Rock Hollow Golf Course.

The house is newly built, with an open concept. It has one bedroom and one bath room. There is no additional sleeping space outside of the queen bed in the bedroom.

The entire unit is available for the guests enjoyment. There is one locked storage closet that guests will not have access too unless guest is staying 7 nights or more.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest access located in the small shed on the property. Please let us know if you plan on using the laundry machines during your stay so we can be sure we have needed supplies available. Please do not leave laundry unattended for long periods of time, as other guests or housekeeping may need to use the machines.

There will always be someone available in close vicinity to the home in case of any issues. We do our best to respond to any questions quickly and encourage communication from our guest. If there should be an emergency or an unmet need through the night, it is best to call instead of message/text.

Peru is a friendly town and you’re likely to find yourself in conversation with the locals. We have a low crime rate in our area, and people are generally friendly and inviting. There are many unique and quaint shops on the main strips (Broadway and Main Streets) of town. A short drive to Converse is always a good option if you want to explore.

Traffic is usually light in Peru as compared to large cities. Most local businesses have a parking lot or street parking. There are no parking meters or paid parking in Peru, though some areas have time restrictions especially around the courthouse. Most of the time you can park on the street within a block of your destination. There is no public transportation so please plan accordingly.

There is an additional rental home on the property. The drive way and yard are open to guests in either home, but all indoor and patio spaces are private for each guest.

The light up buttons on the mirror display above the sink do turn off if you find the lights to be too bright. Just press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds until they shut off. Each time the mirror lights are used the button lights will have to be turned off again.

Forgot something? We may have you covered! We do our best to keep some personal hygene essentials stocked in case you forgot to pack something. In the bathroom vanity you can find some spare items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, deoderant etc. We ask that you not intentionally rely on these amenities so that we can continue to provide them to guest in case a need arrises.

Nyona Lake is a quiet fishing lake located in Macy, IN. It is popular for ice fishing in the winter months. Nearby towns with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, antique shops and other shopping include Rochester, IN (approx 9 miles away) and Logansport, IN (approx 25 miles away) among others depending how far you would like to travel. There are also orchards, wineries, and multiple golf courses nearby.

The dock by the Cabin is for guest use (no diving off the dock) There is a floating swim platform for sunning and swimming. The owners have an additional home and dock approximately 100 yards down from the cabin. This dwelling, barn and all other outbuildings are not for guests. They are not occupied during your stay. The owners may make brief visits to the outdwellings for general maintenance purposes. Guests will be notified in advance…this is a rare occurrence. Thank you for understanding!
Other things to note
No hunting is allowed. Fishing is all catch and release to maintain a healthy fish population, please bring your own fishing gear.

New features!! We have installed Starlink, a high-speed, low-latency internet for remote and rural locations operated by aerospace company SpaceX. Internet connection at the cabin is extremely reliable with this service which makes the cabin an excellent place to work remotely. We have upgraded the grill to a 3 burner Weber gas grill with an electric start (propane is provided).

My home is located on a large lot in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.
The space
Guests use the front door to enjoy their private space which includes 3 large, nicely appointed bedrooms. 2 rooms have queen size beds and one room has 2 twin beds and a twin foam floor mattress that can be placed in any room. The bathroom is equipped with a full tub with shower. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a smart tv. There are 2 separate eating nooks around the kitchen to spread out. You should find what you need in the kitchen to cook in if you prefer not to go out. The locked, sound resistant door in the kitchen separates your space from a small apartment in the back of the house (occasionally occupied) which includes the garage and a separate entrance around the other side and back of the house. The wide driveway has enough room to turn around and has a dedicated guest parking spot(s). There is a ring doorbell facing the driveway.

There is no smoking or vaping of anything inside the home. If needed, a smoker or vaper may smoke outside on the north side of the home. I often use the whole home when not hosting and have allergies to cigarette smoke, animals and strong perfume scents so I would greatly appreciate it if guests would avoid spraying a lot of perfume please. All bedding is washed with fragrance free detergent and the home is cleaned using minimal fragrance when possible. ******* If the no smoking rule is broken a minimum of $200 fee will be assessed ********

The house uses well water and since Indiana has hard water most households, including this one, use water softeners. If you aren’t familiar with softened water, you’ll notice that as you bathe your skin will feel slick and silky so don’t be alarmed. It’s perfectly normal and safe. Often preferable.

Parents of young children, please note that the house isn’t baby proofed with cabinet locks, outlet covers, cordless blinds and such so you would have to assume your own risk if children accompany you. You’ll have access to the smart thermostat located behind the door leading into the hallway to set to your preferred comfort level. There are 4 lawn chairs stored in the entry closet for you to use if you’d like to sit out front. We provide generous starter supplies of toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels and such. If you happen to run out or need anything there’s a dollar general just one mile away. The smart TV on the living room is ready for you to log into your private apps. Please remember to logout upon leaving.

We are located down town one block from the Court House. We are within 5 minutes walking distance to Restaurants, Stores, Bars and our Circus Building. We are the Circus City Capitol with a week long performances ending with a Parade on the 3rd Saturday in July. The Parade comes right past our house which guests may watch for free. Peru is an old Railroad town with a rich history for all to enjoy. The Library is right across the street on the corner of Main and Huntington.

At our 6.5 acre property, you will find a private studio apartment awaits you, with full bathroom, kitchenette, queen sized bed and futon. Our home includes numerous walking trails through the woods as well as a gem of a fishing pond fully stocked for your next big catch! Downtown Peru is 3 miles away for a night out on the town! The space
The property is on 6.5 acres that consists of almost a mile of walking trails through woods and a large pond for fishing and swimming. Host home is located on the property and your rental is a detached studio apartment attached to host's garage. The pond is fully stocked with blue gill, crappie, and bass! Bass and crappie are catch and release but feel free to fry up any blue gill you catch!

Property is located 26 minutes from Kokomo's battery factory, and we are happy to host long term contractors working at the factory!

You will have access to the entire property minus host's personal home and garage space. You will have two assigned, outdoor parking spots.

Other things to note
Hosts have three dogs - Ruger and Ghost (deaf), Australian Shepherds, and BabaVaas, Pug. We welcome all well-behaved and dog-friendly dogs. Please note that host dogs will bark and run to the gates to say hello but are just asking to be petted! They are all very friendly boys!

The Inkeepers Suite is a unique 2 bedroom apartment located in the Carriage House of a 150 year old historic home in Peru. Located Just 3 blocks from downtown, its close to everything and easy to plan your visit.

The space
The Inkeepers Suite is located on the second floor of the carriage house. You will find an open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. You will find a queen bed in the first bedroom, while the 2nd bedroom contains a full size bed. There is one bathroom with a walk in shower.

Guest access
Guests have access to the Inkeepers Suite apartment on the 2nd floor of the carriage house. You will have to climb stairs to access the apartment.

Please know that there is a second apartment directly across the hall that is also available for rent.

One parking spot is available on the driveway for each apartment. Street parking is available for additional vehicles.

The garage and main house are not available to guests.

Please know that you may at times see work trucks and equipment on the property. Work may take place Monday-Friday between 8:30am-4:30pm. This home is nestled in a quaint valley where the deer and squirrels visit often. Enjoy time to unwind, or make a short trip into town to enjoy local shops, eateries, or even the Circus! Located 10 minutes from Mississinewa reservoir, conveniently located off of 31, and plenty of room in the drive for a boat or trailer. Kick back on the deck, enjoy the stars, and spend a little time soaking in well earned relaxation. Be sure to check the guidebook for local favorites and recommendations!

The space
This little home sits in a one acre valley just off of one of the main roads into Peru. While the road is not a highway, it does have more traffic than your typical back country road. The heaviest traffic flows will be around drop off and pick up times for the nearby school. There are a few houses in the area, but far enough away to still enjoy the privacy that comes with getting out of town.

We have a circle drive with plenty of parking space, making it a great spot if you are pulling a trailer, boat, or large vehicle. We are only 10 minutes from Mississinewa Lake, Bunker Hill Drag-strip, and Rock Hollow Golf Course.

The house is newly built, with an open concept. It has one bedroom and one bath room. There is no additional sleeping space outside of the queen bed in the bedroom.

Guest access
The entire unit is available for the guests enjoyment. There is one locked storage closet that guests will not have access too unless guest is staying 7 nights or more.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest access located in the small shed on the property. Please let us know if you plan on using the laundry machines during your stay so we can be sure we have needed supplies available. Please do not leave laundry unattended for long periods of time, as other guests or housekeeping may need to use the machines.

Other things to note
There is an additional rental home on the property. The drive way and yard are open to guests in either home, but all indoor and patio spaces are private for each guest.


The light up buttons on the mirror display above the sink do turn off if you find the lights to be too bright. Just press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds until they shut off. Each time the mirror lights are used the button lights will have to be turned off again.

Forgot something? We may have you covered! We do our best to keep some personal hygene essentials stocked in case you forgot to pack something. In the bathroom vanity you can find some spare items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, deoderant etc. We ask that you not intentionally rely on these amenities so that we can continue to provide them to guest in case a need arrises.

Enjoy your stay in the old servants quarters of the manor built by circus owner Jeremiah Mugivan. This completely remodeled upstairs apartment with kitchenette is located in the carriage house. This studio apartment has a queen bed with full walk-in closet. Towels and linens are provided. One block from downtown- walking distance to several restaurants, boutique shopping and coffee shops. The local museum is within walking distance and the Circus museum is only a few miles outside of town.

Grateful Earth Farm Guest House is on a third generation farm which has the original Arts and Crafts home and barn. Peru, Indiana, is know for its Cole Porter Festival and Circus City Festival as well as Grissom Air Force Base and Miami County Museums. We are a mile from the entrance of the Nickel Plate Bicycle Trail that runs north 20 miles to Rochester and south 20 miles to Kokomo.

The Guest House is located about an hour and a
half from Indianapolis to the south and about an hour and a half from South Bend and Notre Dame to the north.

Private parking, spacious gated yard. Barn area to store bicycles. No smoking and no pets.

Guests may use the fenced in yard behind the guest house, the deck and yard games that are available in box under the exterior staircase.

Walking distance from Circus building and downtown Peru. Our little town has much to offer, kayak the river or play golf, swim or boat at near by Mississinewa reservoir, biking/walking trails. I will leave brochures with information on eateries, museums at house..enjoy your stay.

I don’t have a patio but there is a fully fenced backyard with BBQ grill. Also a front porch. I usually take chairs in for winter but folding chairs are on back porch. I also offer a weekly discount of 10% and 20% on monthly stays.

The cozy old world charm of Pipe Creek Cottage was inspired by the long history of the home starting in 1890. The old farmhouse was lovingly restored in 2023 as a cozy place for friends to gather. Cozy up on the leather couch and watch an old movie or stream through a provided Roku on the provided Smart TV. ➸ The vintage inspired kitchen features a stunning handmade harvest table with seating for 8. The kitchen is equipped for a lovely evening of cooking with a lovely personalized coffee bar as you wake in the morning. The laundry room is located off of the kitchen for your convenience.

➸ Feel free to lounge on the couch with an old movie, in the breakfast room with a vintage book or out on the deck, breathing in some fresh country air.

➸ The downstairs also features the newly renovated bathroom as well as two bedrooms. The Queen Room and The King Room. Elegantly decorated with vintage pieces and beautiful poster beds these rooms will have you drifting off to sleep in no time.

➸ Upstairs there are two more rooms. The Game Room featuring 1 full bed and a room stocked with games, puzzles and a game table. The Reading Room features another full bed and a trove of vintage novels to read your way through.

➸ The Cottage is stocked with games, old movies, beautiful books, and a fully stocked kitchen waiting for your next baking project! The fenced in back yard has a lovely outdoor seating area.

➸ The Cottage is located beside the incredible Pipe Creek Mercantile & Trading House Cafe.
The Mercantile is open Tuesday-Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 12-4 and the Cafe is open Thursday-Saturday 10-2. Your trip is not complete without a visit!

➸ Photo shoots, showers, bridal parties and events are encouraged but all must be approved in advance. Max number of people in the Airbnb is 8 without prior authorization.
