- "I came to New York for a vacation and to relax and I couldn’t it was a banging noise the 3 nights I was in 213 I called to complain about it and nothing was done about it I spent " - "I booked this on a Tuesday. The posting on VRBO said that I would need to present ID at check in. I was fine with that. But then I got emails and phone calls and text messages from various numbers claiming to be the host saying that they needed me to send photocopies of the front and back of my Driver's License and my credit card. I said "can I read you the number over the phone" because it is not safe to share whole images of the card with a stranger online like that. They said no. Then I said please cancel. They said I cannot cancel, and then charged me--they had not charged me until I asked to cancel--it was only during the phone call where they demanded my credit card image that they put the charge for the entire stay on my card. Later in the week, they cancelled my reservation because I refused to electronically share images of my driver's license and credit card with them. That is to say--the HOST cancelled the reservation! But they had already charged me for the entire stay, and they did not issue a refund. I demand a refund and that this host be permanently banned from using VRBO to committ fraud. On top of all that, when I called the official merchant's phone number (the one my bank has for them, connected to the charge on my credit card) I got a automated message offering me free medical devices. They do not have any staff on site to allow you to check in in person. The supervisor is a call center that is very noisy with lots of others calling. SCAM DONT BOOK!"

When I tried to cancel our 5 night stay (online, via phone, and through email) after nearly being accosted by 3 strangers upon our entry, I was immediately denied and told 'no refund', 'can't cancel' and 'its not known (locally) as a safe place'. Ridiculously poor customer service and false advertising. "

- "My stay was okay; but I would like to note that I fell outside of the building near the ramp leading to the parking lot and I could not get anyone to take an incident report. I had to be transported to the emergency room via EMS. The sink in the bathroom was broken, the toilet seat was broken and too small for the toilet. There were not enough towels and wash cloths for the stay. We ran out of toilet paper and we had problems getting into the building the first day. There were burn marks on the nightstand and a puncture on one of the head boards, the remote was missing the back and microwave rotating plate did not work and there were holes in the wall near the towel rack. We did not receive blankets for the pull out couch for our guest which was a huge inconvenience. It was extremely noisy throughout the night with banging and other disturbing noises. It’s not worth the nightly rate. "

Be at home in this stylish apartment in a vibrant, up-and-coming hood. Fabulous restaurants and bars on nearly every corner and 5 minutes walk to the 138th St. Station. Get to Manhattan in the blink of an eye. This is actually my apartment where I live, work and love. Thank you for enjoying my place while I’m away and thank you for respecting my plants!

A big combined living room and luxurious kitchen, a small dining area, a 5-star bathroom with a huge tub you can really soak it (we might even have some bath salts for you). Excellent Wifi. Dishwasher, laundry in the unit, Gas stove, an air fryer, a Ninja high-speed blender, small, high-quality speakers (you'll need an 8th-inch adapter for your iphone).Lots if space )you will have the place to yourself
There is some construction next door which can be noisy during the day, but with the windows closed the noise is not too disruptive.

Guest access
Access to the 6 (green line) is north 4 blocks at 138th and Alexander. Or you can catch the express from Grand Concourse 138th St. Station. You can also walk to Harlem via the 3rd Ave bridge (a little chaotic). But much nicer to cross on foot on the Willis Ave Bridge. Not gonna lie, parking on the block is a pain. There is an indoor lot around the corner on Bruckner and Willis. Or you can park across Alex ave in front of Monty’s Brick Oven (the BEST pizza btw). The parking on the north side of the street is illegal BUT it is rare to get a ticket there as the cops are fairly compassionate. The deli around the corner between Alex and Bruckner is great for sandwiches and small essentials. There is a nice liquor store on Bruckner (turn right on Alex Ave and it's the second store front). All are open till at least 11PM.

Please respect my plants! Apart from the cacti in the bedroom feel free to water them if they look like they need it. Otherwise Fay will be around from time to time to check on them.

My townhouse located next to the subway station in the historic district of Mott Haven in the South Bronx.
Great for visiting Electric Zoo, Yankee Stadium Central Park and Museums. The subway is a less than 1 minute walk from the front door!

Built in 1890, the Historic Landmarked Brownstone has been fully renovated. Each bedroom is located on separate floors offering tons of privacy.

First Floor:
Parlor, dining, kitchen with half bath.

The property is located two doors away from the metro station and police precinct, making it the FIRST house in the Mott Haven area and the FIRST house after exiting subway- 25 steps to subway.

My home is located next to a Police Precinct and the main subway station. Naturally, there is foot traffic on the sidewalk from police officers and commuters heading to and from the subway. You will see New Yorkers from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life.

Unfortunately there is no parking in front of home. There is a parking lot located a block or two There is also street parking a block away.

Complimentary access to streaming via Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney +. Comfortable queen sized beds are in each bedroom. Property also features access to game, gym and yoga room. Lots of public transportation is nearby & you're less than 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan. Vibrant neighborhood with lots of restaurants to explore.

The kitchen/living room area features an island perfect to double as a space to eat in with 2 counter stools. All flatware and cooking utensils are provided for this space. There is also a full sized refrigerator and a microwave making it easy to store and reheat meals.

Living room features couch and additional seating along with an oversized full length mirror. There is a 4K projector set up for complimentary streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+.

Each bedroom has features LED backlit 4K 55inch televisions. Guests are free to watch complimentary access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney +. Bedroom doors are self locking with smart locks which will allow guests to feel secure that their items are protected.
