Parking is on the street in front of the house. Arrangements can be made if you need off-street parking.
We live in the main house and you may be sharing the pool and backyard with us and guests.
Cleaning fee is non-refundable. Our amazing housekeeper is worth every penny! She will delight you with a sparkling, fresh and thoroughly clean experience, top to bottom.

The amenities and supplies are for your use during your stay, but please do not take any items with you (except the Redlands-made soaps and oil—those are our gifts to you). If you would like a particular item, let me know, and we can work something out. Some items are made in Redlands and are available for sale from the artisans. Two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room, a comfy recliner couch, Bathroom is basic with stand up shower equipped with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. My central Redlands home is available several months per year while I am travelling and your hosts are two superb property managers, Alex and Brent. Walking distance to downtown, ESRI and minutes from key hospitals and the U of R. Perfect for 1-3 and for longer term stays.

I am a local artist, known as GretchenArt, living around the world at homeaway and other sharing economy locations. My 2 bedroom 2 bath home in Redlands, California is set up with a master bedroom/bath with a King-size bed plus a 2nd bedroom with a Queen sized bed. Both bedrooms also have a sizeable desk with direct connect highest speed internet. There is a custom extra comfortable LazyBoy double sofabed and desk in the living room as well.
The home is fully furnished and in the perfect central Redlands location on a quiet street-- walking distance to the University and downtown, convenient to the freeways, very close to both Redlands Community, Kaiser Permanente and Loma Linda University hospitals, and a block from ESRI, etc. This will be perfect for one or two people who are visiting friends or relatives, traveling or working as a travel nurse/doctor, professor, ESRI, in town for special events or treatments, or looking for a more permanent home to buy in the area... and my home is available primarily longer term where San Bernardino County requires minimum one month and I prefer renting for several month periods, but will rent for one month. Generally, I must rent discrete months, with some exceptions.
Note there is no garage parking, but parking in the driveway and on the street. The garage is available as a laundry room and would fit a motorcycle.

Due to the location of the property, we ask that you keep noise at a reasonable level. Quiet hours are usually between 11pm and 6am. Guest who violate our no parties rule will result in an immediate termination of their stay and will be required to vacate the premise immediately without a refund. No overnight guest without prior approvable of host, violating this rule could result in extra charges.

2. No smoking or vaping
No smoking of any kind inside or around the unit, we aim to offer a healthy and allergy appropriate environment for all of our guests. Additional deep cleaning is required to remove smoke odors from furniture, beddings, and walls. Violating this rule will result in a $180.00 cleaning fee.

3. No pets
We aim to offer a healthy, comfortable, and allergy free environment to all of our future guests, so we ask to please search for a pet-friendly listing that will best meet your needs and those of your furry friends Disclosure the unit shares a fence with the backyard where our dogs spend half of their time but will have no interaction with our guest. If guest brings unauthorized pets, there will be $180.00 violation fee and will also result in the cancellation of their stay with no refund.

4. No drugs
There is a zero tolerance of drugs on the premises violating this rule will result in the loss of your reservation and will be asked to vacate the unit immediately with no refund.

5. No late check-outs
Check-in time is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. Unauthorized late check-outs past 11 am will be considered trespassing and will need to vacate the property immediately. Violating check-out times will result in a mandatory $250.00 fee. Overstays are considered trespassing and do not award you possession of any kind to this property.

For guests with children
We provide the following items for children if needed but must be requested prior to your check-in day with an additional $35.00 fee. We can provide a play pen for children. Children are NOT allowed to eat inside the play pin. If any stains or solids are found on Pack n Play, this will result in an additional cleaning fee. All items are properly sanitized and disinfected after every guests’ use. All minors can not be left unattended in the unit. If the minor is found unattended, the guest will be asked to leave the unit with no refund.

- "We rented Rafael’s place for an extended weekend for our son’s recent graduation from the University of Redlands! What a great place! Location is only 0.8 miles from the University. Close to fun restaurants and cute shops in downtown Redlands. Great grocery store within walking distance called Redlands Ranch market! They have a great cocina in the back of the store which offers delicious authentic Mexican food to eat there of take with you! The 2bedroom 2 bath unit is beautifully decorated! So clean! So rare to get two baths in a 2bedroom apartment. Very spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for a great stay. Most places are not so I have learned to bring some of my own kitchen items but I never had to use them because Rafael has thought of everything! Huge bonus was all of the fun games and activities to keep us entertained. Everything was so fun. Although we don’t have an EV, they even have a charging station if you do!Rafael was easy to get in contact with when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again. - "We were visiting for nearby camp and needed a place to really just sleep, keep a few drinks and snacks, and this rental exceeded our expectations. The fridge, dishes, and all appliances were in great condition. The bathroom was very clean. We had an easy-to-use TV that was plug and play with all the streaming apps used. Very relaxing! We were surprised upon arrival that the 2nd queen in living room was a blow up bed. I don’t recall it being pointed out so recommend adding that to be clearer. It didn’t impact the overall rating or experience though (Note: I didn’t have to sleep on this blow up bed hence it may have be seen differently by my fellow camper). The host is very, very responsive and overall very good experience."

AC is turned on during hours of 11am-10pm, it is turned off when the outside temp is cooler than inside the house. If need, AC can be left on longer only by request, but shouldn’t be left on all day and night.

The bathrooms are clean once a day between check out (11am) and check in (4pm) times. If the bathroom needs cleaning outside of those time, please let us know.

Welcome to a 100yr old Craftsman House in Colton, CA.

Unit B is comfortably furnished with clean crisp linens and has a heater &
A/C for your temperature preference.
The bathroom is the next door over and stocked with towels, washcloths, and hand towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, some basics (like hot sauce,) utensils, pots & pans, etc.

The porch provides a great place to sit as the evening cools and enjoy a book. The shared laundry area is located on the back patio.

The space
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a medium sized kitchen upstairs. The other 2 bedrooms may be rented to other traveling professionals. The kitchen is shared between all 3 bedrooms. You will need to be clean and pick up after yourself. Cleaning supplies are provided. I live downstairs and do like to sing but otherwise Im pretty quite. The home is on a busy road and near train tracks (no horn.) The shared spaces and bathrooms are cleaned every other week.

You will have access to the entry door and stairwell. Upstairs you will have access to bedroom, bathroom, and shared kitchen area. You will have access to the back patio (where the washer & dryer are located), and the seating spaces around the yard.

During your stay
I live downstairs and I’m usually gone, but I’ll say hello if I see you. I'll come upstairs to clean or restock supplies and a house cleaner will also be upstairs as well as the other tenants. Otherwise, please text me for any need. I’d rather you ask a question then not.

Parking is street parking but pretty much dedicated for my professionals. Street sweeping is the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month and your car will need to be moved or you can get a ticket. I live on the property and it is very safe.
