The Creekside Cabin, nestled under a canopy of towering Western Red Cedar and Large Leaf Maple trees, sits right on the Tilton River. It’s conveniently located just 40 minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park and 50 minutes from White Pass. Whether you enjoy skiing, swimming, boating, fishing, or hiking, there’s no shortage of adventure to entertain and delight everyone in your group. Additionally, a short 8-minute drive will take you to the bustling town of Morton, where you’ll find amenities such as a well-stocked grocery store, charming coffee shops (serving delectable breakfasts), cafes, restaurants, a gas station, a bowling alley, and even a theater if you’re interested in catching a show.

The exterior of the cabin is covered in Western Red Cedar shingles and the porch is made from a lovely Montana flagstone. Inside you’re greeted with log beds and live edge tables sourced from fallen logs from around the property that were hand peeled by the owner and his daughter and made into furniture. Both the living room and the rear family room have wood fireplaces with river rock backdrops and plenty of wood sits just outside on the front porch to help you stay warm in the cool evenings.

The master bedroom holds a soft, quilted queen bed with a 100 % down comforter, soft cotton sheets, and extra pillows for an excellent night's sleep in the quiet of the country night. You will find extra linens and extra blankets in the hall closet. There is also a sitting area where you can put your feet up and store your luggage. An armoire sits at the foot of the bed to hold any clothing and shoes for your convenience.

The loft bedroom has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds for a cozy atmosphere and lots of pillow talk. There is also a small sitting area up there to relax and unwind before crawling into bed. You will find a luggage rack for your luggage and a trunk at the foot of the queen bed for storing shoes and clothing.

There is also a hideaway bed in the rear living room that’s perfect for any littles you may have accompanying you.

(PLEASE NOTE: the LOFT bedroom is accessible only by a LADDER which is permanently affixed to the wall and can be difficult for young children to navigate. We ask that you familiarize yourself with the listing photos before booking).

There is a full kitchen with extensive kitchenware, basic seasonings, and a coffee bar that includes a Keurig Coffee maker and a variety of flavored and breakfast roast k-cups as well as hot chocolate and tea. The kitchen and living room have tall windows that reach towards the 18 foot ceilings and provide tons of natural light while providing you with a gorgeous view of the Tilton river located just beyond the back deck.

As you venture out to the back deck you will notice there are 2 claw foot tubs …. These glorified soaking tubs have access to hot water to indulge in a unique Creekside Cabin spa experience. Settle into the soaking tubs and listen to the roaring of the river and the rustling of the trees. You may even be joined by the local wildlife…

In addition to the back deck soaking tubs, there’s also a full bathroom with a walk- in tiled shower (complementary toiletries are provided), fluffy towels to wash away the day’s adventures.

Once you’ve renewed your energy there are boardgames and card games available for a raucous round of competition around the dining table or for those into a quieter form of entertainment there are adult coloring catalogs or a case full of books, classic and contemporary, alike, available to you.

In an effort to remain off- grid” and disconnected, there is no internet access and most carriers do NOT receive LTE/data on the property. Have no fear, however, there is data connection a few minutes down the road and in the town of Morton (less than 10 minutes away) and you will find with certain carriers you can grab a signal at the property gate entrance.

Firewood/kindling and lawn chairs are supplied for you to sit under the stars and indulge in smores or simply enjoy the outdoor fire pit beneath the stars.

Another unique feature you’ll find at the CreekSide Cabin is the TRUCK BED BAR which is always open for business during your stay. The Truck Bed Bar is exactly that, a Chevy truck bed the owner has creatively dressed up into a little DIY bartender’s paradise. There is also a propane BBQ Grill on the back deck for all your grilling needs.

All summer there are events that happen at this park for your entertainment. The park is far enough away that the noise should not bother you if you need a quiet and peaceful time.

Vehicle parking is plenty, and where you are located you can easily walk to the town for some second hand shopping, groceries, restaurants, and events happening in Mossyrock.
We do provide some bikes, but recommend bringing some along for riding into town, around the block, and on our paved path at the park if you wish.

We do have EV charging station if you are arriving in an electric vehicle.

This cozy cabin feel home offers some of the most spectacular views available at Mayfield Lake. You can enjoy views of the lake from almost every room in the house or while sipping a glass of wine sitting on the spacious deck. Outdoors there is a private patio seating area, hot tub, barbeque, fire pit and extensive landscaped yard. Indoors the great room offers high ceilings with TV/DVD/Stereo, books, games and internet access. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. Sheets, blankets and towels are all provided for our guests.

This is our lake house getaway for our family. There is a panoramic view of beautiful Mayfield Lake. There is a wrap-around deck on the upper level on three sides. We have furnished the 3090 square foot house to accommodate our ever-enlarging family. We have a garage with a 2-bedroom loft apartment next door (see vrbo 307616). Both the house and garage apartment are currently vacation properties. Between the two buildings, there are accommodations for 20+ people.

The house has 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 6 twin beds and 2 queen-size sleeper sofas. We fit a memory foam pad to the sofa mattresses to make them quite comfortable. The kitchen is set up to allow you to cook your meals or there are several restaurants within short driving distances.

The real opportunity of this location and setup is that this is a great place to stay and relax or be as active as you want to be. Mayfield Lake was formed when a dam was built on the Cowlitz River. Mayfield Lake offers boating, water sports, fishing (8 varieties), hunting, and Ike Kinswa State Park for swimming and other children's activities. The nearest boat launch and lake access is at the Ike Kinswa State Park, which is just a 2-mile drive from the house. A Discover Pass is required for parking at the state park. There is sport fishing on the Cowlitz (salmon and steelhead in season), hiking in the hills and mountains, skiing/boarding at White Pass winters, and sightseeing in the Cascade Range.

A drive to Randle, WA puts you nestled in the middle of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. The natural beauty of the area still puts me in awe after years of enjoyment. There are restaurants, horseback riding, and other services in the small towns around the area with the type of folks that are warm and welcoming.

The Harmony Retreat is located less than 2 miles north of Mossyrock, WA (20 miles east of I-5's exit 68, off US Hwy 12/White Pass Scenic Byway), half way between Seattle and Portland. It's on the east end of beautiful Mayfield Lake in a lakeside neighborhood of mostly vacation homes, with some year-round residents.

The west-facing custom-built home has filtered lake views from most of the rooms and from the covered deck. In the evening, watch the sun set over the glistening lake, and at night, gaze at the stars shining brightly in the night sky, unobstructed by city lights. In winter, snow sports are just an hour away at White Pass Ski Resort and Mt. Rainier National Park.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The home is well-equipped for a family or small group to enjoy (maximum 7 people, including no more than 6 adults), yet intimate enough for a couple's romantic getaway. The primary bedroom upstairs has a new king bed and a twin convertible chair-bed. This cozy room also has a vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan, comfortable chairs for reading/relaxing, 32" smart HDTV with Netflix (or log in to your own streaming subscriptions), and a full bathroom with a soaking tub and double sinks.

On the main level, the other bedroom has a queen bed and colorful boho decor, and a 32" smart HDTV (log in to your own streaming subscriptions). Across the hall, there's a second bathroom with tub/shower.

Besides the 2 bedrooms, other sleeping options in the open/non-private areas include:
* a double-size bed tucked into the alcove of the open loft adjacent to the upstairs bedroom
* a queen sofabed with added memory foam topper in the living room

Relax on the patio, gather around the gas fire pit table to roast marshmallows, and share laughter and stories.

No matter the weather, the covered deck off the main floor invites guests to enjoy the fresh air, with several seating areas, a hammock, two dining tables, and a Weber gas grill.

NEARBY

The private community dock is just down the street, where you can launch your motor boat for a day of fishing (lake is open for fishing year-round) or water-skiing. Or bring your jet-skis, canoe, kayak, or raft to explore the 13-mile lake and adjacent Cowlitz River canyons. (Note that there is no boat moorage or tow vehicle parking; someone in your group will need to bring tow vehicle back to driveway after launching but it's a fairly short walk back.)

Across the street and through a greenbelt, there's a community swimming dock and lakeside picnic table. At the other end of the lake (15-minute drive), boat rentals are available at the marina.

Bike, jog, or walk on scenic country roads that meander through forest and meadows, where you're likely to spot farm animals, fields of flowers, wildlife, birds, and vistas of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and the neighboring foothills.

Or head out by car to visit the rural towns of Mossyrock (which has a few shopping and dining options) and nearby Morton, explore nature trails and the lake at Ike Kinswa State Park, see the Mossyrock Dam, go geocaching, take a day trip to Mt. This new lake view apartment is built on top of a private garage. There is a panoramic view of beautiful Mayfield Lake. We made a wrap-around deck on the north and east sides (for the view). We have furnished the 1080 square foot apartment as a place we would want to live in, but we own the larger house next door (see vrbo 314232) as our vacation property and added the garage/apartment for our future use. For the next few years, the apartment offers a great getaway place to enjoy yourself.

The two-bedroom apartment has queen beds to sleep four and two more persons could sleep on the fold-out sleeper sofa. The kitchen is set up to allow you to cook your meals or there are several restaurants within short drivings distances. Laundry room has full-size stacking units.

The real opportunity of this location and setup is that this is a great place to stay and relax or be as active as you want to be. Mayfield Lake was formed when a dam was built on the Cowlitz River. Mayfield Lake offers boating, water sports, fishing (8 varieties), hunting, and Ike Kinswa State Park for swimming and other children's activities. There is sport fishing on the Cowlitz (salmon and steelhead in season), hiking in the hills and mountains, skiing/boarding at White Pass winters, sightseeing in the Cascade Range.

A drive to Randle, WA puts you nestled in the middle of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. The natural beauty of the area still puts me in awe after years of enjoyment. There are restaurants, horseback riding, and other services in the small towns around the area with the type of folks that are warm and welcoming.

Neighborhood Considerations: Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. every day of the week. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and that must be maintained during the quiet hours.

Welcome to Casa De Gongas! We are about 5-7 minutes from Lake Mayfield and 1.5 hours from White pass, so this home is perfect for warm or cold weather.
We have a two bedroom, one with queen and one with a king bed.

The space
Casa De Gongas is the guesthouse on the same property as the homeowners. It is directly next to the main house. It is not attached and is its own separate home. The beginning of the driveway is a shared driveway and you will have your own parking next to the house.
The yard is a shared yard, however there is a blocked out area designated to our wonderful guests as Casa De Gongas

Experience the great outdoors in luxury! Vaulted ceilings and panoramic windows provide stunning lake views from this three-level, open-concept house. The home has everything you'll need for dining and entertaining from barware, dinnerware and utensils to cookware and cleaning supplies. Coffee, tea, and Breville espresso station including locally-sourced teas and coffees. The main level includes two bedrooms with queen beds, one bathroom with shower and tub, an open kitchen/dining room with desk space, and an open living room. The Village is a private community on Mayfield Lake featuring a local marina, boat launch, and private resort. The community is vibrant and lively in the summer months and peaceful and relaxing in the fall, summer and spring.

Nestled in the trees is our tiny, rustic 256 sq ft studio cabin on a large yard and lots of parking!
It's just a quick walk down the hill to use of our private dock or Lake Mayfield marina! Located right between Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens, the little cabin is a great place to retreat, BBQ/cook, enjoy a bonfire, and sleep!
This adorable original cabin has a beautiful pine ceiling and a brand new remodel! Enjoy the beautiful quartz countertop in the well-stocked kitchen with pull-out faucet, full-size fridge, microwave, and more! The remodeled bathroom includes full shower with amenities, toilet, and sink. Snuggle up in the queen bed or pull out the full/queen sofa bed! Cabin is perfect for one or two people, but could (at most) squeeze two more small kids onto pull-out sofa bed. Note: they're all in same room. You will be comfortable year-round with the heat/AC mini-split temperature control and new double pane windows just installed. Memories will be made around the fire pit with plenty of included firewood to roast your marshmallows. As our guests, you will have access to our kayaks and paddleboards (already at our private dock from June through September, you do not have to carry to lake!).

The cabin can be rented either separately or together with the house on the upper property. Both are clearly marked and separate. Those renting the cabin also have the option to rent the adjacent full hookup RV spot. We also offer boat moorage from our private dock, so you don't have to trailer your boat every night! Ask host about additional service fees for mooring boat or RV spot!

Rules:
1. The 4 outdoor cameras (both properties) are for safety and security; they record audio and video with motion. One at house front door, house back door, driveway, and at front of cabin. No tampering with cameras or wifi/wifi extender. If you are having any trouble with wifi, please message host immediately.
2. Absolutely no smoking, vaping, e-cigs, marijuana within 20 feet of house or cabin. Violation of this will result in fine of $500.
3. Well-behaved dogs are allowed with $75 pet fee, per dog, in advance. Please bring dog crate if you plan to leave dog in cabin alone. Pet cannot be left in cabin alone/unsupervised without being crated. Guests must pick up dog poop from yard, bags will be provided.
4. Parents must supervise children at all times. Property has stacked firewood/fire pits, an active creek (includes creek-bed with uneven rocks), and possible other hazards, and cabin is not child-proofed.
5. If excessive cleaning is necessary after your stay, prevailing hourly professional cleaning fees will apply.
6. Absolutely nothing but human waste and reasonable amounts of toilet paper in toilets. No grease down the sink. Plumber costs will passed along to violators.
7. Please no acne products, tanning products, hair color products, nor oil-based lube products, as they can permanently stain our linens.
8. If anything breaks or isn't working during your stay, guests must notify host as soon as possible. Host will attempt to remedy the problem immediately.
9. Please respect privacy of neighboring house rental if you haven't rented both; including quiet hours.
10. Guests are not allowed access to cabin storage box, "landscape shed" on property, nor locked "cleaning closet" in primary bath of main house.
11. Kayaks and paddle boards available (for use from June thru Sept) from our dock. Guests must advise host prior to use, and must wear life jackets at all times. All guests must agree to dock rules in advance of use.
12. All guests shall be registered to reservation and disclosed to host. Undisclosed people and pets will incur a fee of $50 per violation per day, and possible termination of the reservation without refund. We do not allow guests to have their own guests at the rental because the lines get uncertain.
